MUCH improved in the last ten years!
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo has MUCH better data now. Lots of difficult-to-reach largely accurate contact info!
What do you dislike about the product?
Search is still a bit kludgy and it can be a bit slow but it's not horrible. I found you had to search one field at a time. Ex: Joe Blow, then ABC Company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZoomInfo is much better than it was ten years ago when it was just mediocre. The quality of the data is much better and there are more direct dial numbers (including still-accurate ones) than I found with DiscoverOrg. I used ZoomInfo extensively to find the emails and direct dial numbers of high-level bank & FI execs that I couldn't get through to otherwise.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For straight contact information I would choose ZoomInfo. Fact is I didn't want us to spend the money on it when it was suggested to us because I'd used it years ago and it hadn't been satisfactory. But it sure is worth the money now. It's not the best solution for *account* history, trends, intelligence, etc. but it's terrific for contact names & finding difficult-to-reach-out-to people.

What do you like best about the product?
The most accurate data on all of the decision makers at the accounts I need to target as well as up-to-date firmographic info, technographic details, and buying intent data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate that I didn't find this earlier in my careeer.

Getting in front of the right people at my target accounts, at the right time, with the right message.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can integrate zoominfo with salesforce and LinkedIn. As well I like that I can put contacts quickly into those platforms without wasting time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the plugin for zoominfo does not always work and I have to go into zoominfo and grab those contacts manually.

The amount of time I save trying to look up contacts and put them into outreach

There should be an export function for immediate download. Going back to my email repeatedly is annoying.

What do you like best about the product?
It really makes information gathering simple. All the info you need on a company/contact is concisely compiled - email addresses, titles, direct lines. Plus I appreciate the ability to export contact info directly into hubspot.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times where the information is out of date. Sometimes information on a company will be merged with another making it hard to parse. When you minimize the extension, it clears the boxes that were checked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes outreach incredibly easy. I don’t have to comb websites for information or call in to a company blindly. I much prefer email to a LinkedIn message and ZoomInfo gets me what I need to make that happen.

What do you dislike about the product?
*the export function to our CRM has stopped saying not enough credits left...This has been addressed by our Director yet is still unresolved by ZoomInfo Customer Success reps. The last time he called them it sounded as if he was on an upsell call for a new service they are selling rather than a resolution call from our conversation afterword. If you use ZoomInfo make sure to train your team on limitations as if a concern occurs it does not seem they are very helpful in resolving it...unless you just want to be upsold.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to understand what you are getting, make sure your needs are being met, and train employees (especially new employees coming onto team) to follow ZoomInfo's rules as their customer success team does not seem helpful in resolving concerns and seem to be more interested in the next upsell software they have.
Definitely a tool that will give your customer facing reps. the info to WOW the customers

The ease of use setup and UI which is intuitive and gives you lots of info on one screen.

Not much, the tool itself is super easy to use.

Reps lacking info before phoning prospects, this solves that!

Definitely take advantage of using their support team to get started!

What do you like best about the product?
How quick and easy it is to get relevant information. I no longer have to spend hours on hours to find the information that I need. What took me a long time before can only take minutes now.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the database was bigger, and there was more info on different people and companies. The platform would be much better if I could find emails on every potential prospect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My efficiency has increased dramatically, so I have more time to do more important tasks.

Definitely take the time to learn how to use ZoomInfo, it's a great tool and everyone can benefit from it. It doesn't take long to learn, and even if it did it would be worth it! A tool like this can save you so much time and effort. 10/10 would recommend.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use for novice users all the way up to expert. Plus the marketing analytics help show how we are utilizing the information we get. You can have the contacts name, number and email address with just a couple clicks. Making your contact list better and your sales funnel strong. What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, I have been a Zoominfo user for the better part of 7 years. I recommended it to my VP which he has finally purchased it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By getting around the gate keeper in large format companies. How much faster I can hit my quota by talking and communicating with the right person.

Cost and the inability to report inaccurate data. They are also behind when companies merge with others, and we often spend unnecessary credits downloading invalid information.
