Best Data Available, but Expensive
What do you like best about the product?
We've tested out several different vendors, but we've found that ZoomInfo has far and away the best data (phone numbers, emails). Additionally, ZoomInfo has valuable information on other tools that our prospects use and provides notification when prospects are mentioned in the news. All incredibly valuable tools.

What do you dislike about the product?
ZoomInfo is expensive, however we've found that it's a must-have in our sales process. Additionally, the platform sometimes is slow to load. We also had difficulties getting in touch with Sales and Support when we had issues. We're a small company so it sometimes feels that we're unimportant to them. When it came time for renewal we struggled to get in touch with the sales team and had our account turned off, which was damaging to our pipeline development. This severely damaged our relationship with the company and they made no efforts to correct. If their platform wasn't so valuable to our business development efforts, there is no question that we would have canceled. Prepare for renewal by getting in touch with your sales rep months in advance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've drastically decreased the amount of time we spend prospecting. We're able to find exactly who we need, what type tools that they are using, any relevant news regarding the company/prospect, and countless more pieces of information. We've closed a number of large deals through data and intelligence that we sourced directly from Zoominfo.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Overall the platform is incredibly valuable. Yes, the initial cost is steep, however if you use it the correct way the investment will absolutely pay off.
I recommend that if you do move forward with the platform, you take advantage of all the features, not just the contact and companie lists.

What do you like best about the product?
Contact info is great, usually up to date and most people you can find.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some times the contact info is incorrect which can be a waste of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reaching out to prospects with the correct form of communication. I work in Canada though so CASL greatly effects how I work- I can't email people who don't have public info available, meaning phone numbers are everything for me.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful aspect of ZoomInfo is the sheer volume of information available. There are hundreds of thousands of companies and contacts, the accuracy of HQ and direct work numbers is very strong, I'd say 80%+. Email address accuracy is also strong and is almost always a work email. At certain pricepoints there are also additional features like org charts which can prove helpful, especially in large enterprise sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few, if any, direct mobile numbers. We have since subscribed to a secondary tool that provides us with cell phone numbers, though at a lower accuracy rate. With people increasingly reliant on mobile devices, the lack of these numbers can make it challenging to use Zoom as a standalone tool, especially if your primary market is sales or operations people who are glued to a mobile phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recently there have been some issues with the plug in occasionally not displaying individual data, though a search still reveals information. This has been spotty and intermittent and appears to be resolved as I write this review. We have been able to seamlessly migrate thousands of accounts directly to hubspot, as well as many thousands more contacts. The integration with hubspot and linkedin is excellent and allows us to quickly enter new accounts to be prospected. We have also been able to do much larger scale searches for prospective clients and accounts to prospect.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that you truly evaluate how the types of contact numbers you need and who you wish to call upon. Our need for mobile numbers and our target prospects necessitate an additional tool, the expense adds up. Also, the move to join with Discovery has increased the price, especially per credit dramatically.

I like that the info that comes with each lead includes direct lines.

A lot of people are not updated very often so they end up not working there or have gotten a promotion when you contact them. Just some bad info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It really helps me figure out what companies are growing and which targets might be of actual worth. all the extra data and filters are really useful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best if used in tandem with LINKEDIN sales navigator and salesforce. ( at least in sales). All in all a very robust solution for any organization.

Addint top notch contacts into Salesforce. Amazing account targeting capabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
The biggest advantage of zoominfo is the direct line of communication that is shared (email and phone number, sometimes even the cell phone) of prospect clients. It's helpful to call people directly and not go through the gatekeeper.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all the information from zoominfo is correct. You MUST double check their title of their role on linkedin or you could get burned! Some of the info is outdated as well (acquired companies, companies no longer in business, etc).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've realized how much time was spent trying to find the "right" person to speak with - zoominfo helps cut down the time of my prospecting research.

What do you like best about the product?
I am able to find new contacts at companies by using the salesforce integration. By being able to do this I am able to find new prospects at companies that I have not been able to get in touch with. This has made my job a lot more efficient when it comes to being able to make connected phone calls and ultimately get meetings set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it automatically pulled over all phone numbers in the Salesforce. Currently I have to use the ZoomInfo plugin in Salesforce to add contacts in bulk but to access all of the phone numbers associated with the specific contacts I have to go to the main ZoomInfo website and manually copy and paste the phone numbers over into Salesforce
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to get new mobile numbers has allowed me to get into accounts that I have had trouble getting in touch with people. It has also made tracking down employees who are new to companies or jumping from company to company easy, especially in an industry where this is very common.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely use ZoomInfo if your company is in outbound sales and is having trouble tracking down new prospects to reach out to. The integration with salesforce is very smooth, but being able to pull mobile numbers along with contact names and emails automatically is one current drawback for me.

What do you like best about the product?
I can often find people who are not on LinkedIn on ZoomInfo, the database is vast and helpful. Even if I can't find the right person, I'm able to find the email cadence and guess.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding multiple contacts that are in an account named something *slightly* different (i.e. Acme Inc vs. Acme) in SalesForce requires searching for the account and connecting the contact to the account for every single contact individually, you can't group it. You can only export 25 contacts or accounts to SalesForce at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to add so many people at a time it has been absolutely vital to expanding a large ammount of accounts and contacts at a time.

If you need want to add accounts or contacts quickly and easily, ZoomInfo is for you.
