Mostly Accurate and Better Than Anything Else
What do you like best about the product?
The mobile numbers for senior leadership is impressive. Quite a bit of IT leaders to chosse from which is suprising. I like the honesty when it comes to their data, i know what I'm getting into when I pull a list with an 85 on accuracy compared to a 95, there is a real difference. This also helps me filter down.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to keep up with companies nowadays. Their employee size fluctuates greatly, but this is how we segment our sales team so we put it on ZoomInfo to have the most up to date numbers. This is hard to do and they are usually slightly behind the curve. This is slightly frustrating. Also the pricing doesn't correlate to how we use it. We don't drup contacts we bulk uploads and that costs us more. Seems counterintuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developing a more tailored outbounding strategy based on key information about prospects. If we do this, they don't feel like they're a number which leads to more conversations.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the wide availability of data and the ability to search and refine your outreach w/ specific criteria.
What do you dislike about the product?
In some sectors, the number of contacts or their quality can quickly bottom out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding the correct contacts and the number of people. For some of the roundtables, we host I need to invite 250 contacts.

The ease of doing research and connecting to Salesforce

Don't "always" find what I need and a few times the contact email/phone number has been incorrect

I am able to find contacts through Zoom that I can't research through Google. It has been a great resource with helping build my pipeline

Valuable resource but missing information
What do you like best about the product?
The contact details provided on key executives is by far the most valuable part of the too.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little information on company financials. I am typically trying to get an idea of the size and focus of a company I am contacting for the first time to evaluate them as a prospect. Ideally I would like to see recent revenue and profitability history (summary is fine), links to recent annual reports, a better description of their business, a list of business units, and a summary of recent news.
Also the process of searching for contacts is quirky and not friendly. When I am looking at a company, and I click on 'Employees', I would expect to be taken to a search box. Instead I see a summary of 'Employees by Management Level'. I have to pick one of those levels, and then I get to a search box that has limited my search to the management level I picked. I have to correct that, and then go on with my search. It's a couple of extra steps, but when I'm searching a lot of contacts it is very very annoying, and not very logical.

We are able to identify the key executives we need to reach, and get their contact information to reach them. This information has really improved our ability to make contact and get meetings with the right people.

ZoomInfo is a great tool for finding key executives and their contact information

I wish I could export data to Salesforce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Logging in does not work at times because I had an old version and it mixes up the login with the new version.
A powerful research and engagement tool for sales/marketing professionals.
What do you like best about the product?
I'm currently using ZoomInfo every day as a key part of my outreach process. It's great for prospecting: finding direct extensions, emails, and other relevant information about a potential lead. In addition, I've found it extremely helpful that recent social media mentions/news articles and technologies/attributes of the target organization are all displayed on the contact or company's profile. Having all of this information in one place is great! Also, it's very useful to be able to use the advanced search functions to simultaneously search for contacts in the job role I'm targeting, in companies that meet my organization's preferred requirements in terms of size and revenue.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've found that some information can be outdated, but no database is perfect. Advanced features (exporting unlimited contacts to Excel, etc.) that some power users might want will require a higher-level subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In many instances, gatekeepers are hesitant to forward those dreaded "sales calls" to the C-level or director-level individual, even when the individual has visited our website or provided us with contact information directly. ZoomInfo allows me to work around this by searching for the contact's desk extension.
Quality contacts to grow your business
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of usability. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy to take advantage of the many features. The data is pretty accurate and the amount of data show is very helpful. Our team is able to easily collaborate on finding quality leads and creating usable segments. The email notifications for updates and changes to lists are great opportunities for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the contact and company info may be out of date. This product is on the higher end of the price range and sometimes it is discouraging when trying to find data that is out of accessible range. When I get a bounce from an email found on Zoominfo powered by DiscoverOrg, I wish there was an easier way to report the information to improve the records. I also have a hard time finding some smaller companies that would be great contacts for us.

We are looking to grow our email lists with lower bounce rates and so far we have seen this

A great high-end tool that gives quality information about other businesses
Saves about 2 days a week time for prioritizing prospecting

Many contacts no longer work at the company Zoom claims they do and profiles are lacking emails, phone #'s, etc. and why have the profile picture when 99% of the contact profiles do not have one.

Very useful. sometimes the information is not accurate but majority of the time it is.
It is OK but customer service is what lags...
What do you like best about the product?
Direct contact phone numbers and email addresses for most organizations. The plug in is nice but sometimes errors out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Often times the direct phone numbers aren't really direct phone numbers. Often times they aren't updated. As in the person at that organization has been retired for five years... I can understand if they retired within the year but past that there isn't an excuse.
In addition, it felt like once we bought the software both the sales rep and customer service fell off the face of the earth. It is very hard to get questions answered and concerns addressed.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Honestly we aren't considering renewing our contract. It is an expensive tool that has not brought an overall return on investment. I think for some industries it is great. If you are targeting public traded large enterprise companies it works well. (If you have ever seen a ZoomInfo demo you will see they highlight this)
In real world use it isn't as applicable. If I am going to target Microsoft as a prospect great. If I am going to target a small business funder such as I did in a previous life or in my current life hospitals and health care organizations my honest opinion... Meh.. I am better off calling the front desk and just asking to speak with the Director of IT or compliance manager..
