Using Zapier is crucial to a sales/marketing business using multiple platforms to optimize performance.
We use Zapier to automate a ton of workflows and ensure that our teams are well connected and focusing their efforts on important tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It occasionally goes down and when you rely on an integration tool to document payment or something else mission critical, it can be a pain to wait for Zapier to get back online.
Luckily this has only happened 2-3 times ever.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zapier keeps our data organized by ensuring that it is filed in the correct place. This saves hours of manual entry that other companies are literally paying people to do.
Zapier Review
What do you like best about the product?
It's really nice to connect apps between each other automatically. It's easy to use even if we have zero notion of code or computer science. The integration with other apps is easy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, the only downside is the price which is a bit higer for small business. But on the other hand it helps us to better monitor the activities and allows us to gain time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration with other app and monitoring the activiies of my website such as subscription, payment or failled purchase. It's great to use and the analytics are easy to understand.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use. I use it primarily to move items from google tasks to to-do-ist. I like that I can put the item in my custom sections.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its not affordable for personal use. I need more than 5 but I don't need 750 tasks. There's no price plan between 0 and 20 per month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to move items out of google's crappy workplace into a more robust application like ToDoIst
Efficient automation and stable performance
What is our primary use case?
I am using it for automation – any kind of automation that we use along with other tools within the organization.
What is most valuable?
There are a few valuable features, like the stability that it comes with and also the number of features that it offers. I've used other services like Pabbly, but they don't offer similar numbers of applications that Zapier has or allows to integrate with – it's maximum.
What needs improvement?
There is room for improvement in the support. They are not responsive, and they don't take much time to get resolved.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Zapier for more than four years. I currently use the latest version.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I would rate the stability an eight out of ten. There is room for improvement.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I would rate the scalability a nine out of ten. There are around ten users in my company using Zapier.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is very easy. The deployment didn't take long because we just needed a subscription to get started.
What was our ROI?
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The pricing is average; it is neither too cheap nor too expensive. Moreover, there are additional costs to the standard license.
It comes along with the number of tasks that you consume. That's something extra cost.
What other advice do I have?
I would recommend using the solution. No prior knowledge or any other no-code automation tool is needed. It's very easy to get started. The advanced features might take a bit of time to grasp, but that's it.
Overall, I would rate the solution a nine out of ten.
Used to be my favourite, now it's the worst of the bunch
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to integrate varing software and pass the information across to ensure consistency and uniformity of the data. Also can ensure that data is where want it, when we need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used to love Zapier. I've been a user for more than 10 years. It used to be the flagship and the most effective software to use.
Now, it's the most bloated, expensive and unhelpful software out there.
As with so many software solutions, they seem to think that more "features" is the way to go, totally forgetting about the actual users.
That and they now want to increase prices from our old legacy pricing by 100% for 25% of the original usage.
It seems like they are no longer interested in the people that built the company, they just want enterprise clients now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well it used to be used to ensure our collected data was located in whichever system we wanted/needed it, as well as we used to use it for aggregation and cleaning of the data.
Zapier improves our productivity by 100%
What do you like best about the product?
This program seeks to automate activities and actions ranging from generating an alert when a specific email is sent to automatically post on social networks. Zapier has a simple to use interface, simple to use and also attractive for the organization of the windows of the same, this program also enables the collection of information about the interactions between different apps and save it in an external document, for example, a spreadsheet. Zapier is a very intuitive program for anyone, in fact, it is not necessary to receive any training to be able to use the different tools and features it has for the user. The sum of several features make it versatile and dynamic, in addition to reducing the amount of repetitive tasks that usually demand a lot of time and resources, for example, simultaneously, instead of the traditional way, publish information in several social networks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest disadvantage of Zapier is that for the moment it does not have an app for more convenient use, particularly on cell phones. In addition, in one of its past versions I had many problems with certain tools that were not working properly, however, these problems vanished after several suggestions from the technical support staff and once reinstalled the app did not exhibit failures again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zapier has been a great help in managing the different uses that take place in our company. To illustrate, I can have the totality of the reactions in the social networks documented in a Google Sheet writing, in this way, I can have access to the information in a fast, specific and reliable moment to manage the marketing strategies and administration of the social networks of the company, in this way, the decision making is more effective.
My workflow's autopilot
What do you like best about the product?
Zapier has been an important ally for the efficiency of my workflow. The real strength of this tool is in its capacity to create connections between a wide range of different software applications, transforming them into a single operating ecosystem. Automatic interaction between applications has meant less time spent on manual operations and greater smoothness in daily work.
I was very impressed by the ease of setting up "Zaps," the commands that, when an event occurs, trigger a preset action. In addition, the platform provides a high level of customization, allowing you to add additional actions, filters, delays between steps, and other touches that enhance the complexity and accuracy of automation.
In addition, I must emphasize Zapier's exceptional compatibility. With over 4,000 supported apps, almost every digital tool I use in my work can be connected and automated. This aspect has greatly expanded the possibilities for automation, making Zapier a true productivity powerhouse.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zapier also has some flaws. First, the creation of complex automation paths can be challenging for less experienced users. While the tool is designed to be user-friendly, it requires some effort to master all its features.
In addition, I have noticed that even though Zapier offers a free plan, it is limited for those who need a high volume of actions or a quicker update rate. The cost of paid plans can be a bottleneck for small businesses or freelancers on a limited budget.
Finally, despite wide compatibility, not all applications offer the same integration depth. In some cases, the actions available for automation may be limited, decreasing the power offered by the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zapier tackles the problem of data fragmentation and time loss associated with handling multiple digital applications and tools. In my case, using Zapier has led to a significant optimization of work processes.
Before Zapier, I used to find myself having to manually perform numerous tasks across different platforms. For example, when I received a new lead via email, I had to manually import this information into my CRM. Likewise, after publishing a blog post, I had to remember to share it on various social media platforms.
With the adoption of Zapier, these jobs have turned into automated processes. For example, I was able to set up a "Zap" that, upon receiving a new lead, automatically transfers the information into my CRM. Another "Zap" automatically shares my new blog posts on social media as soon as they are published.
Thanks to Zapier, I can focus on more relevant and creative tasks, knowing that repetitive and routinized tasks are handled effectively. In addition, automation has decreased the chance of manual errors, increasing the accuracy and trustworthiness of my work.
In summary, using Zapier has saved me time, improved efficiency, and reduced errors, giving me the opportunity to focus on more strategic aspects of my work.
Easy to use, quality integrations, painful pricing
What do you like best about the product?
Setting up Zapier was trivially easy for my company's purposes. Building a Zap is intuitive and very customizable, more than was needed for our purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is a huge pain point, as even the cheapest tier is nothing to scoff at and the number of tasks/month ramps up very slowly. We do not need more Zaps, nor anything that comes with the premium tiers really, just more tasks/month. Obviously we don't expect to just be able to freeload off the free tier, but it is a shame that we have to shell out for a very expensive plan with all sorts of worthless (to us) features just to get moderately more tasks/month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zapier allows us to use SendGrid to automatically trigger emails without the need for a backend.
Versatile automation hub
What do you like best about the product?
We have made majority of our internal processes automated by using Zapier and compatible digital tools. The platform is self explanatory and easy to connect existing services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recently we experienced occasional proecess failure in Zapier but not so much dowside. If you are light user, there could be cheaper alternatives. Make sure to sort out what you want to do with Zapier before subscribing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run the internal application and authorization process via Slack. Many of these processes are routine and repetitive processes, so we integrated Zapier to coordinate backend tools and make process automated.
The best automation tool to grow your business
What do you like best about the product?
We were looking for an efficient way to streamline our lead capture processes and found Zapier to be the solution. It has allowed us to automate much more than just lead categorisation, seamlessly storing each new enquiry where it needs to be and adding it to a relevant CRM campaign based on their behaviour. This saves us time by removing all the manual work involved in managing campaigns, and enables better conversions as we can now tailor them based on segmented data points without any extra effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am frustrated by Zapier's pricing model, which seems to prioritise maximising profit over delivering value. We only have access to six email accounts and are encouraged to upgrade for more features - yet more fees keep piling up. What's more, the customer service is sub-par; their responses often feel robotic or don't really answer my questions at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to take advantage of Zapier's automation capabilities and put my team's valuable time back into more meaningful activities.
