Zapier, The Leading Automation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful and upsides of Zapier is how it eliminates manual work by automating repetitive tasks between different apps with good numbers of features. It’s so easy to set up, even without coding skills, and saves me hours by keeping my tools in sync (frequency of use). The ease of implementation and integration process with other tools is just too fast and superb and stress-free. The customer support is not bad as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful and the downsides about Zapier is that complex workflows can get expensive as you scale in your business (especially small businesses. Even sometimes, integrations break without clear explanations, which can be frustrating to troubleshoot the system. Also, here's a whole lot with multi-step Zaps to master.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zapier made it easy to integrate systems into my client's website with minimal work and advanced techniques. It also saves me from manual data entry by automating workflows between different apps/tools, like syncing leads from forms to HubSpot. Thereby making tasks run smoothly in the background, so I don’t have to be switching between platforms anytime I want to. Zapier saves me time and smoothly boost my productivity.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to check the history of all the zaps, now the new Ai features are helping to debug errors
What do you dislike about the product?
UI feels little outdated and i don’t like the fact it doesn’t support if else if conditions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was connecting my apps that i built on glide with other apps like Google calendar
Unreliable and Embarrassing — Zapier's Chatbot Platform Cost Me a Major Deal!
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing it's over-priced and their chatbot platform doesn't even work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve been a paying subscriber of Zapier’s chatbot platform for months, shelling out significant money with the expectation of a reliable service. The first time I needed it to perform—during a demo with a major prospect—the entire platform failed miserably. I experienced constant errors claiming that the connection with OpenAI wasn’t working. This wasn’t just a one-off glitch; it happened multiple times last week as well. I opened a support ticket, and after several exchanges, I was told that the API issue had been fixed and that they couldn’t reproduce the problem.
Fast forward to today: after testing the chatbot extensively over the weekend to ensure everything was working, I launched into a high-stakes demo with a whale prospect. Within the first few minutes, the same embarrassing errors reappeared. This wasn’t just a minor inconvenience—it was a disaster. My prospect completely lost faith in the demo and, by extension, my company’s capabilities. The outcome? Tens of thousands of dollars in potential revenue down the drain, all because of Zapier’s unreliable and overpriced platform.
For the price they charge, I expect flawless performance—not this kind of amateur-hour fiasco. I want my money back. I want this issue actually fixed. And I want a full year of service for free to make up for the lost deal, or I will never use this platform again. Right now, my trust in Zapier is non-existent. I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone who relies on a chatbot for serious business.
Do better, Zapier.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wanted to use it to demo chat bots, but it can't even do that.
Game changer for marketing automation
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Zapier is its ease of use and intuitive interface. The most remarkable aspect is that you can build even very complex automation scenarios without any coding or development skills. This makes it a true game-changer for anyone looking to automate their workflows, regardless of their technical background.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point in my experience with Zapier, I haven't found any significant critical issues or drawbacks worth mentioning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zapier enables me to create marketing automation scenarios that help me streamline my daily operations, allowing me to develop effective solutions both for myself and my clients. This automation capability significantly improves workflow efficiency and helps deliver better results in marketing activities.
Great in theory but haven't gotten Zaps to work for many of my use cases
What do you like best about the product?
Zapier seems like such a great tool and I have successfully used it to automate things like tweeting new articles published on an RSS feed (or adding to a Buffer queue so it drips them out). I'll probably do so again.
What do you dislike about the product?
During a recent attempt to integrate a donation platform with a CRM (Givecloud to Virtuous) we ran into repeated issues. Granted some of them were due to the test data that was coming through from Givecloud. Zapier support felt non existent though. Eventually we got the zap working but couldn't end up using it because of a field mismatch that was unable to be resolved due to what Virtuous allowed us to sync fields to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Publishing articles from an RSS feed on social media. Saves time and eliminates manual busywork.

I use Zapier pretty regularly and it has helped me earn client trust.

Very helpful app!
What do you like best about the product?
That I can pull data from different apps into my project management app!
What do you dislike about the product?
The new updates made it less user friendly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most helpful use I have is being able to connect a scheduling app I use (Calendly) to my project management app source sheet (Smartsheet) where I keep track of onboarding over 300-400 staff per year.
It’s our digital complement that brought us all together
What do you like best about the product?
Every time we needed to move something from one place to another, it was a mess, until Zapier came along. We managed to create "Zaps" (automations) that make applications talk to each other without writing a single line of code. Now every time we receive an email with an attachment, Zapier automatically saves it and notifies us. It’s like having a personal assistant do the work for you! We can connect almost anything with anything else: CRM, spreadsheets, marketing tools, e-commerce... everything, and it’s done in the background without me moving a finger.
What do you dislike about the product?
A Zap was set up a few months ago to have tasks automatically created if a certain email was received. Even though everything appeared to be in order, we discovered that we were receiving duplicate tasks. The peculiar format of our activation emails led Zapier to misunderstand them. Hours were spent testing and verifying the settings before it was fixed. It was annoying, but we figured out that the software is simple to use, but that complex automations often force users to experiment until they find what works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now we have everything automated. We use Zap for different tasks in our company; for example, in our campaigns, we use it to automatically add form submissions to our email list and receive notifications whenever something new is sent. In a matter of minutes, we can automate that process. Whenever a form is filled out, information is immediately stored to the CRM and a welcome email is sent to the user, eliminating the need for manual intervention. It's been a huge time saver, is very user-friendly, and works with a ton of apps. Our business has found it to be a fantastic option for straightforward process automation.
Very very comprehensive integration application!
What do you like best about the product?
The number of Apps available for integration
What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
