Data wizardry of the highest order

  • November 14, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The endless array of options and combinations of tools is awesome. It also talks to each app very well, the integration is pretty much seamless. On top of that, the support crew is always top notch, professional and prompt.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new interface is a little oversimplified. As a bit of a data geek I like to have a UI that lets me poke around, and the updated experience is a little too railroaded for my taste.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Capturing form fills on our website and from outside vendors, sending notifications, updating partners, the list goes on. If you have any kind of data entry job that needs doing, this will save you tens of thousands of hours and therefore hundreds of thousands of dollars. Zapier has saved us countless hours of toil over the last few years.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Your life will never be easier than after you migrate your processes to Zapier.

Zapier helps nonprofits be efficient

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to get tasks done immediately and accurately triggered by Gmail or a new row in a spreadsheet. We've connected our forms, marketing, database, and more to streamline things that would have continued to be done manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it's simple to use, there are some limitations about complex logic (branches) and there can be some limitations faced around formatting text on occasion. As you learn more, you begin to architecture solutions with Zapier in mind and it gets much better!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can't afford an automated marketing tool, but we can use Zapier to fulfill forms immediately, push disparate form data into a single format so it goes into our database of record smoothly, do simple things like notify clerks on bouncing emails for database updates, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start small but get started with the biggest task that your most valuable person is repeating often.

Best 3rd Party Integration Tool Out There!

  • November 14, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
These guys have a million connectors. Okay, not literally, but seriously, I’ve yet to find a need for a connection that Zapier didn’t have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. They really are the best. Use them, use them, use them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to use way more tools for our marketing because they can all talk to each other through Zapier. We are way more efficient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a 3rd Larry connector, use this one. It’s the best.

Zapier enables a lot of complex tasks, but can be challenging for non-developers

  • November 14, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We've been able to build a lot of useful integrations using Zapier without the need to hire developers
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations can be challenging to get to work correctly and consistently, at least for non-developers. Also, Zapier usage-based pricing can be confusing and lead to unexpected bills for overages even on top plans
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to develop products without having to hire outside developers. Especially effective for building quick, inexpensive MVPs

Crucial component of my business

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of connecting multiple different applications & APIs in one place. Automate redundant tasks and ensure the quality of data entry, saving.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some applications that are not in Zapier and I wish they were.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business communication. Connecting CRMs to websites to external APIs (like Twilio, Sendy & more) automates large portions of daily work and frees up personnel to focus on higher/better uses.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool for integrating multiple different platforms and automating mundane tasks. If you have personnel working redundant data-entry tasks across multiple platforms, you should look into automating it and ensuring quality by having Zapier zaps do it.

    Transportation/Trucking/Railroad

A tool that you must have if you want to automate your business

  • November 14, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Anytime I copy paste something, or add information from one app to another, I ask myself, can I automate this? Usually the answer is yes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has improved, but I would like better formulas for "if data contains this, do this, but not if this" type of scenarios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything. SMS reminders to employees, posting invoices to quickbooks, logging vehicle gps locations, sending website form information to other software, sending automated gmail emails. I have over 50+ automatons set up.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to connect diverse systems, without expensive development work and easy to keep all the integrations going - saves us so much time and money.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not really anything i dislike - it took a little bit of working out how to use custom webhooks when there isn't an off the shelf integration. But their support were very helpful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are connecting lots of systems that won't talk to each other on their own and saving a ton of time and money with automations
Recommendations to others considering the product:
its great
