Great variety of content!
What do you like best about the product?
Great variety of content. They have almost every possible corporate training topic you may need. This is especially valuable for compliance related training. They are also easy to integrate with Workday (which is surprising to me as this LMS is not best). Their customer service is also great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quality of their training is ok, but not great. There are not many activities that people can complete as part of the trainings integrating those activities to practical application. There are also some outdated training styles or too “creative” (not in a good way), which makes learners frustrated. I would still go back to using OpenSesame if I’m in the market for a content provider, especially when cost is involved as they are very affordable.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm most grateful to my customer success manager, Kelly Robinson! Although we are in entirely different time zones, she always makes time for my questions and curates thoughtful business reviews each quarter. Kelly is responsive, a life-long learner, and a fantastic partner in curating incredible resources for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
SCORM file uploads are arduous in our current LMS. I wish there were a better integration.

They have relevant, vetted content that offers upskilling, reskilling, and certification opportunities.
OS Works Very Well
What do you like best about the product?
There is an excellent library of content to choose from.

Could be a better variety of product types.

Broad Range of Content for any Business
What do you like best about the product?
The broad range of options on any given topic with for many audiences. Most of our employees serve the trades and in addition to corporate feeling content, there is much for construction. I can find options for just about any stakeholder AND their customer service is very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything I dislike about this service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a very small team and the ability to quickly access content on a given topic and have it loaded is so beneficial. Compliance in particular for 500 sites across the US is critical. We used to use 3 services and still couldn't get what we need. OpenSesame is a one stop shop!

What do you like best about the product?
OpenSesame offers an extensive course catalog, covering everything from project management to personal development to workplace safety and many topics in between. We have a training team of one person for many departments. The off-the-shelf training allows us to offer courses that are relevant to our diverse workforce and to align with departmental and organizational goals. Self-paced courses allow our learners to visit the material at their convenience. The OpenSesame course catalog is intuitive and easy to navigate. Searching for specific courses and topics is easy. Courses are easy to load into our LMS, despite the limitations of our current LMS. The OpenSesame Curation support is a fantastic benefit of working with OpenSesame. I can put in a training request to get customized suggestions for courses rather than having to sift through 26,000+ courses on my own.
OpenSesame provides exceptional customer service. Martyn W. worked with me every step of the way to provide information and demos whenever needed during the procurement process. Martyn continues to provide support well after the contract has been executed. LaRonda, our Customer Success Manager, has been a valuable asset in rolling out our new training program and providing continued support. LaRonda M. is clearly knowledgeable, passionate, and enthusiastic about what OpenSesame offers and is there for me whenever I have questions or need help. I always look forward to interacting with LaRonda. Her positive outlook and friendliness make for an enjoyable partnership. Additionally, OpenSesame provides outstanding customer support for our learners via phone call, email, or chat. Response times are setting records - Chat is answered with 15 seconds and emails within 15 minutes. Wow!

I don't have any dislikes. Working with OpenSesame has been nothing but postive.

Working with OpenSesame has allowed our organization to move forward with training goals throughout the organization. We serve a workforce of 1,400+ employees. I am the only person in the "Training Department." Without OpenSesame, we would not be able to provide much training to our workforce. OpenSesame is also cost effective.
Excellence is the norm.

Certain content limitations due to subscription structures.

Speed to delivery. Overcoming language gaps as well.
Excellent Customer Support
What do you like best about the product?
I love the range of course content, and onboarding as we prepared to launch our new LMS was seamless thanks to Alissa's support. It's super easy to navigate, and I love sharing lists with the team. It was super easy to implement and everyone who received an account had an easy integration process. I use it regularly as we get requests for more content from different teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more technology-specific course content/trainings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has really helped us with courses that are quick fixes and also those that align with laws for different workplace compliance rules, as we have locations in multiple states. I also love access to managerial, leadership, and soft skills development for our managers.
OpenSesame content library is robust and current
What do you like best about the product?
The content is current and easy to access, review, and upload to our LMS. I also appreciate how they are constantly addign new publishing partners, which continues to broaden the selection of content for a variety of learning needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not come across any dislikes about the solution yet.

Our Talent Development department consists of one person, so the partnership with OpenSesame expands the capacity to provide a variety of easily accessible learning resources to our employees. All of our employees have different professional development needs, but OpenSesame provides them with the opportunity to select from quality learning content to assist them, wherever they are in their career growth journey. Because our organization contains a very diverse portfolio of businesses, we also appreciate that OpenSesame offers content that is aligned to a variety of different industries.
Tons of content, great service team.
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to search through the course catalog, and easy to download courses we need. If there's something I can't find or don't have time to curate, OpenSesame's curation team will assist with sourcing.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of the courses doesn't have reviews, which can make it a gamble when trying to select which course will fit your needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpenSesame is where we get probably 80% of our learning content, and 98% of our content that isn't created internally. It allows us to focus internally on delivering learnings that are unique to our business, and bring content that's less specialized or more general in for our employees.
I wish all companies I work with were as great as OpenSesame!
What do you like best about the product?
OS provides fantastic content and a wide variety of options. The best thing about OpenSesame is the Content Curation team! I love that I can give them a topic and some guidelines and they go to work to find several options that I can choose from. They always find exactly what I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn't anything I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a small L&D team and a small Instructional Design team. OpenSesame allows us to fill gaps by providing off-the-shelf content that is ready now to meet the needs of our business. We use OS content for required "compliance" learning, leadership development, personal development and DEI initiatives. OS content is a big part of all of our programs.
