Great resource for small L&D teams
What do you like best about the product?
Our CSM is so helpful and knowledgable. She is always available to support, answer questions, and brainstorm with our small L&D team. We see her as an extension of our team. Open Sesame has been a great way for us to quickly scale organizational wide development programming to all within our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Continued focus on early access to courses related to emerging technology (ie. AI).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With our lean L&D team, OS has helped us to deliver competency based learning and compliance training quickly to our organization. The Plus catalog gives us the ability to nimbly update our learning paths and internal catalog with timely and relevant courses.
Great Support, Time Savings, and Better Content
What do you like best about the product?
Our sales rep and CSM are both PHENOMENAL. They are quick to answer questions, they are able to come up with creative solutions to problems, and they understand our business needs and will do everything they can to accommodate them. One of the biggest benefits of making the switch is time savings. We found that across all required compliance trainings, we are saving an average of 130 MINUTES per team member. Since we have over 5,000 team members, that time savings turns into cost savings for our company! We have found great content in different languages that is actually engaging, which we never thought was possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are A LOT of choices, and unfortunately, not every course has just one course file for multiple languages. I know this is something they're pushing publishers to do, but it can be challenging when we're trying to make the end user experience seamless
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing engaging compliance training that meets legal and OSHA requirements. As mentioned before, the time savings with Open Sesame is an average of 130 minutes across all compliance trainings.
OpenSesame is great to work with!
What do you like best about the product?
The content library of OpenSesame is very robust and continues to grow each week. We have enjoyed working with OpenSesame for training needs and have never been disappointed.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have minor difficulties downloading OpenSesame content, but that is absolutely no fault of OpenSesame. It is an issue with our LMS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We get a variety of content from many different perspectives.
My partnership with OpenSesame was outstanding, made us feel that our needs were their top priority.

What I like best about OpenSesame is their unwavering commitment to customer support. It was easy to filter through the catalog.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area for improvement with OpenSesame is the limited selection of data literacy courses.

OpenSesame is helping us solve data skills gaps within our organization.
Fantastic
What do you like best about the product?
The breadth of topics and variety of content creators. Their customer service has been extremely prompt with same day or next day answers to my questions. The ability to offer the same training in multiple languages (not just sub-titles) is also a huge bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are new to OpenSesame, and the shear volume of content can be overwhelming. We have learned to refine our searches and are getting suggestions that will work for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the past it was difficult to include our employees on 2nd and 3rd shifts in trainings. With OpenSesame we are able to deliver the same content at all hours of the day.
Big Bang for Your Buck
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent customer service. Gold star treatment by knowledgeable, passionate, friendly professionals who truly want your company's L & D initiatives to be successful. Pricing is competitive with access to 10,000+ courses in a wide range of styles to suit a wide variety of learning types. There is literally something for everybody to learn in this library. Integrating Open Sesame with our HRIS, UKG was seamless. The website in easy to navigate. The AI curation feature gets better each time you use it and the ability to create and share lists with colleagues is a huge plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only criticism would be that the subscription is a little all or nothing. You can either have a set up per learner per month with up to 100 courses allowed in your library or you can have per learner per month with access to infinite courses in your library.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Upskilling seasoned employees; providing foundational skills for emerging leaders; helping build out learning journeys for various groups of employees such as new hires, customer service representatives, administrative assistants; supports Six Sigma and Agile initiatives.
Easy to use content and tools with great people to work with!
What do you like best about the product?
The team at OpenSesame is fantastic to work with! Each quarter, our success representative shares the latest content publishers and releases now available or coming soon. She also provides us with metrics of our usage and new time-saving tools and resources that OpenSesame has to offer. Should we need assistance, someone always responds quickly to our queries. OpenSesame content is easy to view, select, and build into our LMS.

I really don't have any dislikes to report.

OpenSesame solves for our company's compliance, leadership, and skill building training.
Seamless Learning Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The system is incredibly user friendly, with easy implementation and valuable features. The filters and reporting capabilities make tracking progress efficient. Customer Service is outstanding- attentive, responsive and always willing to assist. My CSM, Alissa B. is consistently available for questions and provides excellent support and resources, ensuring my needs are met in a timely manner. The curation team is extremely helpful and the new feature to curate a list has been a great addition.
What do you dislike about the product?
An area of opportunity in OpenSesame would be more independence to filter and create reports based on topics and users. I would like to be able to filter a report by topic to gather number of training hours and have the ability to see on users who are and are not using the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Opensesame is a valuable resource for leadership development, newsletter content and provides insightful webinars and customer conversations that are especially beneficial for trainers. The platform also enhances employee engagement by offering creative ideas, a diverse range of publishers, and courses tailored to different learning styles.
Amazing selection of courses
What do you like best about the product?
I use OpenSesame courses at my company for all of our employees, but I also take advantage of them myself! The courses are well-made and offer valuable insights not just for work, but for other areas of life as well. From work-life balance to neurodiversity and skill development, the variety of courses available is immense! I also appreciate the customer service. They are quick and resonsive and make sure that their is a satisfactory outcome to all requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful aspect for me is reporting. It can be challenging to get a quick overview of what someone has completed, especially when they’re working through a list of courses. While it's possible to get the information I need, it's not as intuitive as I'd like, and it often takes me longer to figure it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpenSesame is solving the problem of providing easy access to a wide variety of training resources for our employees, helping ensure they have the skills and knowledge they need. It offers a convenient way to stay up-to-date and compliant.
OpenSesame is a leader in Content Providers
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of content providers and the support received from our Customer Success Manager is outstanding. I meet quarterly with our CSM and provided with important stats on our seat utilization, completion rates, and new content providers that we may be interested in. Our CSM keeps us informed on important updates and information that is important to us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of any area that I dislike about OpenSesame.

OpenSesame is able to provide relevant training courses that meet our compliance and development needs.
