I'm using Db2 server and working on drvier for Db2 connect
What do you like best about the product?
I'm using Db2 connect and working on Db2 connect driver and it's secure database every 90 days we have to change our password so that it willl be more secure and our data will be save.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like it most
but sometimes it's server gose down
May be sometimes command runs and all the comands on mongo server not works on IBM db2 server.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I'm working on Db2 connect only so I uses it for connect driver development only.
And also if customer problems come with it helps me to understand and solve the problem.

Very usefull.
Get full support and also can be use for nosql database.

Db2 a data management solution
What do you like best about the product?
DB2 is used in data warehousing solutions for ETL purpose to store, analyze and retrieve the data efficiently. It can also be used for semi- structured data i.e, XML and is extremely fats as compared to other traditional databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is scalable but version control, expanding hardware capacity is quite painful, required outage etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using it in one of the organisations for data warehousing solutions for ETL purposes to store, analyze and retrieve the data efficiently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to opt for traditional RDS then go for it otherwise the cloud offerings like Snowflake etc make more sense in the current world.
DB2 - accessibility & Durability
What do you like best about the product?
I like the performance of db2 and it's features which attracts easy implementation of db level operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
It associated with huge front cost so it's not possible for startups and small organisations to use it without any thoughts like cloud dbs.

I used to solve all e commerce related data problems and analytics on top of this data.

Great data warehousing in the Cloud
What do you like best about the product?
We are delighted with the performance of this cloud solution. However, we must not send requests that are too heavy.
What do you dislike about the product?
My client are not satisfied with the support. They have been in contact with the support team several times, and they are not reactive enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves time. We don’t have to worry about the processes usually required to implement a database on site.
Good Performance and The Technical Support Needs Improvement

The performance is very good and computes engine is good

The scalability of DB needs a more user-friendlyinterface. Huge queries with a large number of data impacts computation power.
The technical support specialist team takes ages to resolve any issue. We have to rely on make-shift solutions and the issues keep recurring. Ultimately, the product itself has challenges and we are not currently satisfied with the support

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IBM dashDB's ability to store and provide fast access to data both on-premise and in the cloud makes it best-of-breed when it comes to implementation flexibility. For example, IBM dashDB allows you to size your needs without the upfront CapEx cost of buying hardware and software to meet the future needs of an EDW or application. All the while you can have one data solution that pulls data together with data from Hyperion Planning (Oracle) and Microsoft Dynamics (MM) into the same system as part of an EDW project.
