What do you like best about the product?
Least footprint on your on-prem and out of the box capabilities on the cloud makes it the best fit solution for both small and large enterprises
What do you dislike about the product?
while most of the features are available out of the box, there are certain limitations - like customisation of the tool as per the requirements on some modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the lifecycle management of users, partners and applications for the users.
Saviynt provides OOTB features to integrate your source and target systems. It also allows you with the OOTB connectors available to connect to the systems like AD/DB/REST/AzureAD/CyberArk and many more
Good Product, some issues with support
What do you like best about the product?
The product is generally intuitive and doesn't require too much customization to get going. Getting connections to work is pretty easy, and for the most part there is decent documentation around how to set things up.
What do you dislike about the product?
When issues arise, it is difficult to get agents that can get to the root cause. Often they request meetings that end up being a rehash of what we have in the original ticket. Tickets stay open far too long before resolution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working towards having a centralized IAM environment where a product like Saviynt can be the source of truth for everything identity related. Saviynt as a product is proving to be capable of doing this although there are some concerns around scaling.
Offers responsive support and moderate pricing for streamlined identity management
How has it helped my organization?
Based on my experience working with Saviynt, they deserve a rating of nine because they are very responsive to support. More than resolving issues, their responsiveness to concerns is exceptional.
What is most valuable?
Partnership and expanding the identity scope are valuable features, particularly in touching aspects of authentication. When presenting to the board or leadership who have experience with Unix, Linux, OS, and Windows, discussing multiple products for identity solutions can be challenging. Currently, one needs to discuss Open Text for identity account management, Saviynt for identity governance, another solution for single sign-on authentication, and DigiCert for certifying authority. The portfolio could be expanded to provide a comprehensive solution where three actions on identity and access management can be handled by SailPoint, Saviynt, or Okta.
The pricing of Saviynt is moderate compared to other players such as Open Text or Oracle, which had huge volumes. Saviynt's operational costs and other aspects have been clarified. Compared to Oracle's significant costs, Saviynt's products are quite convenient. Saviynt could expand into authentication, the single sign-on market, and multi-factor authentication. The authentication market presents significant opportunities where they could bring additional controls under their umbrella.
What needs improvement?
One area for improvement is Saviynt's training platform. They could enhance their training arrangements for partners and build a stronger partnership environment. When discussing Azure or AWS-related products, I have observed many local partners entering the market successfully. Saviynt needs to increase their partnerships with local players to penetrate the market more effectively. They can focus on product development and announcements while partners could manage sales and provide services and support.
A potential weakness in Saviynt stems from my experience as a customer. While one product performed excellently, another was quite complex with code dating back 15 years. They might benefit from having an even stronger technical team to understand historical context. Although they already have industry veterans with 20 years of experience, having additional identity veterans or strong identity presence would provide a competitive advantage.
What other advice do I have?
It depends on the type of solution product and the role and responsibility. In my previous role in operations services delivery, I could influence product decisions within my responsibility. In my current security role, I focus on existing products and provide updates. During peer review forums and business requirements discussions, I suggest Saviynt solutions when appropriate, noting their strong team development. For PCI-related requirements, I recommend Okta, as they have delivered numerous solutions for JP Morgan and other banking clients. For energy-based discussions, I often recommend Saviynt, particularly for shared access management or account access management.
SailPoint remains a strong recommendation, as the identity market needs more robust partnerships. While various technology platforms in servers, networking, and other areas have established partner networks, the identity field lacks such comprehensive partnership structures. This issue needs to be addressed.
Overall rating: eight out of ten.
Enables swift deployment and operational management in large projects
What is our primary use case?
We are an added value distributor. We deliver vendor models on the ground. We have a specialized team handling sales, technical, pre-sales, deployment, and project management. We focus on large government projects with a high number of users. We have recently signed up with
Saviynt and are starting with small to mid-sized projects.
What is most valuable?
The most valuable aspect of
Saviynt is its market acceptance. We recently closed a project quickly, which is a good sign. Saviynt is easy to deploy, manage, and maintain. These aspects make it suitable for our operations, especially in terms of operational management, maintenance, and cost-effectiveness, which are crucial for our customers in Saudi Arabia.
What needs improvement?
We are in the deployment stage, so it's too early to determine specific improvement areas. However, bringing more people on the ground could enhance Saviynt's market presence. While Saviynt has potential, testing in large environments is essential to assure its capabilities. There may be areas for potential improvements, such as enhancing AI features and integrating with third-party vendors, but this needs to be assessed post-deployment.

We have been using Saviynt for approximately three months.
What was my experience with deployment of the solution?
The deployment process for Saviynt is straightforward, simple to execute, and does not pose any major challenges.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Saviynt is still under deployment and has not yet been launched. Therefore, its stability is undetermined at this stage, and an evaluation will be possible after two months.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Saviynt is very easy to deploy and scale. I can currently rate its scalability at eight, with room to potentially reach a ten.
How are customer service and support?
Saviynt's technical support is effective, as they have a presence in Saudi Arabia with dedicated sales and technical personnel. I rate their technical support at eight out of ten as they are on the right track by establishing themselves in the market.
How would you rate customer service and support?

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Saviynt is very affordable compared to its competitors. It is cloud-based, making it significantly cheaper than on-premises solutions. This cost-effectiveness aligns well with the Saudi market, where there is a growing preference for cloud solutions.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We are also working with other solutions like SailPoint, Swivel, and CyberArk, which are part of our technology offerings.
What other advice do I have?
We need to test Saviynt on larger environments to fully evaluate it. Once tested, we can provide a more comprehensive assessment. It is recommended to enhance features like AI integrations after deployment. I would recommend this solution because it is easy to deploy, manage, and maintain. I rate the overall solution a nine out of ten.
