pretty good software, pricing is less than appealing and edge cases could be annoying at times
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the software interprets what I mean quite well. Most of the time, sheets are linked in a project with no issues and nets are propagated correctly. The formating of the files are also very easy to configure. Overall, solid piece of software for daily use.
What do you dislike about the product?
In some edge cases such as using the REPEAT function in hierarchical multi channel design, the documentation is lackluster. It becomes challenging to understand what the software is expecting vs what the user is expecting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our electrical engineers use Altium almost exclusively for PCB designs. In the industry, we have not found anything that compares in efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
There are not enough shortcut keys, and the class selection button on the PCB design interface needs to be clicked every time.

Building original components, packaging, schematic design, PCB design, etc.

it provide ease of use for simple board design and easy to export file to supplier for making boards
Great and easy way to collaborate with colleagues on Altium Project
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it is a easy way to work together with colleagues on the project in real time. Also a easy way to review the schematics and layouts with colleagues who don't have Altium installed who can just review it by using the browser. It is easy enough to set up and saves a lot of time in big projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to diske, worked perfectly for the entire time. One downside could be the high subscription cost.

Collaborateing with colleagues in real time on big projects.
Best PCB design utility
What do you like best about the product?
What I liked most was the online cloud integration, the ability to share projects, final files or resource copy along with project version control.
Also on the big plus side is the component database and its management from the organization's administrator, online statistics and much more.
The tool is well ahead of its competitors offering, for example: cloud-based solutions, team management with individual functions for given users, version and access control, tasks with collaboration, or a contemporary-looking and well-functioning GUI.
Highly recommended to check it out.

What do you dislike about the product?
At this point, I am unable to point out any downsides to this solution. The only thing that would be welcome would be the option to backup to your own media all your projects at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration, managing problems found while doing review revisions of projects with comments and their resolution or live status. I also love the access to online projects and the cloud based component database
3 months user experience on Altium designer.
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that the components can be easily loaded into the schematics through samacsys,or snapEDA library loaders. Automatic calculation of width during impedance matching.(helped me during RF routing)
What do you dislike about the product?
During placing of the components and routing for the layout of the PCB especially RF routing....I feel there can be more convenient way for help in RF routing.I am unable to add my co-workers to the workspace since a week...so that we can work together(Tried all ways but couldn't Crack it),any easy and convenient way for giving editing access(like in Google apps)would help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is more convenient and fully equipped software for designing and fabrication of PCB...hence its a great plus point for me to have knowledge about the software.

The centralizard storage is extrememly convenient.

The high price can be tough to budget for.

What do you like best about the product?
Altium 365 allows for cooperation between electronic and mechanical teams in companies and student teams. It makes sharing necessary documentation like 3D models very easy and quickly accesible which allows for quicker integration of PCBs in mechanical projects. The possibility of having the whole documentation of electronic project in explorer allows for frequent check-ups. The new MCAD CoDesigner also makes sharing files much faster then before.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see 3D harness module integrated in the Altium workspace to provide better quality documentation than in standard CAD harness aplications.
