One of the best credential storage tools available in market
What do you like best about the product?
CyberArk's privileged security is top notch and one of the best possible Account Security Solutions available currently in the market . Its enhanced security helped us to gain confidence among lot of our customers and most people are astonished at the level of privacy/security we use in our applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such, But my only concern would be the pricing strategy . I think if pricing can be decreased a bit. it can reach to all customers . As most small organizations cannot afford to purchase such tools, even though they want their applications to be highly secured.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used it in majority of our processes for enhanced security . Generally one can make use of windows credential manager or inbuilt security with in an application to store credentials but none of this methods work when there is a network breach or firewall breach . CyberArk has an algorithm to generate a dynamic password which will be in sync with our application so that only the two parties can handshake . This provides enhanced security as the password is no where exposed to outside world . Being a dynamic password compared to that of a traditional windows credential type of password it cannot be guessed or cracked by any hacking tools in the market . That's the real power of CyberArk .
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I definitely recommend it to every organisation which gives atmost importance to their customer centric processes with no compromise in quality . As Cyber Ark is one of the best solutions for enhanced security in the market .

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Too much access with privileged accounts
CyberArk's Password Vault is a must have for Privileged Account & Identity management
What is our primary use case?
To securely manage privileged accounts within the enterprise and automate password compliance where possible. Bringing multiple account types all into a single central repository with an intuitive user interface has greatly improved our security standing. Instead of managing each account in its disparate location like Database, Active Directory, LDAP, and Mainframe, we can now do it from a single solution. This has enabled great strides in standardizations across account types for password and access management.
How has it helped my organization?
CyberArk has enabled my organization to monitor and manage privileged accounts in a secure manner while also giving the ability to adhere to password compliance automatically. CyberArk has helped us to remove hard-coded credentials in applications and scripts. Traditional password policies often fall short of providing adequate protection, but CyberArk's PAM has allowed my organization to set robust password policies that require a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
What is most valuable?
AIM has been a great help in automating password retrieval which removes the need for hard-coded credentials. Hard-coded credentials are a risk to organizations as they are easy for attackers to target. Therefore less hard-coded credentials increase the security stance of the enterprise. We have greatly utilized the out-of-the-box usage automation like Windows Scheduled tasks and password config files. The reconcile feature is another must-have to give users the ability to not only change their password but to unlock it as well where needed.
What needs improvement?
CyberArk's Privileged Access Management (PAM) stands out as an industry leader, and it is often considered at the top of its class. This comprehensive solution has consistently delivered robust features and innovative security measures that make it an essential component of any organization's cybersecurity strategy. While no system is without room for advancement, CyberArk has continuously demonstrated its commitment to innovation and improvement, and many of the potential areas of improvement are already being actively addressed.

What do you like best about the product?
I personally like using CyberArk for my day to day password management at work, and it is one of the easiest tool to use which doesn't need any previous knowledge. The best feature is that reports can be generated to see which user has changed/used/stored/managed the passwords in a given period of time. Also, custom reports can be deployed, which makes it perfect for use in organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike anything about this product. GUI can be improvised.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CyberArk is used to save passwords related to different fields across the organization, and separate vaults can be created for each department, and the level of accessibility to users can be restricted, which prevents passwords being available to everyone across the company.
