The perfect backend for your fast frontends
What do you like best about the product?
Front-end developers can focus solely on frontend.
What do you dislike about the product?
Translation for the backend is not optimal, non-english speaking users may be lost when using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have performances problems with our old CMS. Now we can use a fast frontend without losing benefits of a strong backend.
Easy CMS Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the integrational part about Strap to fetch the data from the API into your custom frontend website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the guide and ability to customize the frontend for Strapi could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now I no longer need to deploy my fronted website every time I have to change the content out there. It made me more efficient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Maybe give users more options to customize the frontend at ease
Mostly Open Source Customizable NodeJs-based Headless CMS
What do you like best about the product?
Developer-friendly CMS system that makes it easy to set up your content models and start adding content in minutes. It's pluggable, and you can find plugins for most general use cases. It exposes REST (by default) and GraphQL (with a plugin), but I found GraphQL to be more suitable, and the auto-generated schema serves over 90% of my backend requests. Customizing the backend is possible if you need custom authentication/authorization logic. It has a slick and intuitive admin UI. Integrating OAuth providers was simple, stable and quick.
Backend Customization
The backend can be customized using either JavaScript or TypeScript which is very useful.
Admin UI
Admin UI is constantly improving with every release allowing customization for Rich Text inputs, dark mode and other features based on the community feedback.

Database unique and required constraints are not applicable for relations' fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Self-hosted headless CMS for Arabic-only software review and recommendation service.
Best open source headless CMS
What do you like best about the product?
East to get started, customize and scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
Migration from v3 to v4 is a bit tedious, hopefully, will be improved over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Implementing headless CMS, much faster time to develop...
Great Customisable CMS
What do you like best about the product?
Strapi enables us to create a backend and CMS at the same time using a web interface while also enabling us to fully customise and add extra features to our backend using code. We're able to create graphql routes for each model or content type we add, and these routes have the full CRUD functionality, this has saved us a lot of time while building.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the documentation isn't as helpful and is sometimes not up to date, this is something that has caused confusion for our developers while building or making certain customisations, so it's the one area that could definitely improve. The plugin marketplace is also very limited for v3.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving to create a CMS that non-technical members of our team can use, and also reduce the learning curve for new developers joining our project, Strapi enables us achieve both with it's interactive admin dashboard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Strapi is great if you're looking for a customisable modern CMS, because of its ability to create both Rest API and GraphQL routes while creating models/content types directly via the admin which is a powerful feature for such a CMS.
Quick and easy headless CMS option
What do you like best about the product?
Speed! The user interface runs incredibly fast making development a snap. Very low overhead compared to something like a headless WordPress install. The free version seems to provide a generous amount of features and the enterprise options add even more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found anything yet, our developers have been loving it and it sounds like we'll be using it for lots of projects in the future. Will certainly benefit from a larger community as more folks find out about it and start using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating a custom app to allow our reporters to send demographic surveys to their sources. Strapi lets us create interfaces for our editors to create forms and reporters to send as well as the actual surveys that are completed by the sources.
Good user friendly CMS backend for development
What do you like best about the product?
It allows an almost unlimited number of content types. The relations content types are most useful and helpful types.
What do you dislike about the product?
The different architectures between strapi v3 and v4.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Choices of different frontends working with Strapi. I am working with Gridsome but it's rather hard to work with Strapi v4 then v3.
Best choice as API headless CMS for my Front apps
What do you like best about the product?
Strapi helps me to focus on front-end development by making backend and API implementation very fast and easy !
What do you dislike about the product?
Backend interface should be fully responsive. Adding entries from a smartphone is not simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Get rid of a fastidious API/backend development
The headless CMS service of the future
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Strapi is that it is only opinionated where it is necessary, but is flexible in most other regards. I like how it is user friendly to editors, but has a great API (including GraphQL) so that developers are empowered, but it's also possible to build MacOS Shortcuts integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides is that the media library doesn't easily support internationalization, meaning that the built-in fields for captions and alt tags can not really be used, This creates the necessity to store this information on a different level, but this makes it difficult to create elements like carousels which are much easier to create if the alt tags and captions can be pulled from the media library.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Strapi will serve as the editorial content repository and admin interface for a museum and heritage foundation. it should support multiple frontends but also should let us fetch data to automatically generate email newsletters and other stuff.
A great tool to manage our website.
What do you like best about the product?
It evolves quickly, the data model is editable easily and it’s very easy to use for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like every generic tool, some corner cases must be avoided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a BackOffice to manage our website would have been time consuming without it.
