The best CMS ever seen
What do you like best about the product?
It is 100% codeless. Creating custom content types and roles, giving permissions, creating APIs are very easy with the Strapi. Everything can be done using the admin panel. They have nice documentation as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The richtext editor has a limited number of functionalities. Better if can add more functionalities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am creating a blog publishing site and needed an admin panel for all the authors to add content.
Strapi is 90% No Code tool
What do you like best about the product?
Strapi is an awesome product for quickly setting up CMS and API for your products. We started working with Strapi in Dec 2020. Since then, we have used Strapi in three of our projects. Basic things like Rate Limiting, Authentication, Roles and Permissions are pre-built into Strapi. If you know Strapi, you can set up your fully functional E-Commerce store in a day.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some technical issues that I am confident would be fixed in the next major release. One that comes to my mind is that context is not available in lifecycle hooks. Another thing I would want the Strapi team to consider is to make Strapi on Serverless environments. Also reducing the size of node modules can help a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting up CMS for non-technical users was one of the biggest issues for our firm. It would cost our clients a lot of money, training sessions and time. After using Strapi, the cost is less, fewer frustrations and happy clients.
Open Source, Customisable, Easy to setup
What do you like best about the product?
It's quite fast to set up a new Strapi instance for a Jamstack project. The frontend can consume the editor's content with the GraphQL API.
You can use an S3-based API to consume your assets. It supports multiple languages also! And the UI is quite nice for editors !

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really bad, but it could be nice to have more features like a deploy button to publish your content on demand. However, you can implement such features by customizing it!Also, the Strapi team is working hard to add a lot of new features!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allow editors to provide structured content in a Jamstack project.

What do you dislike about the product?
- That there is no cloud service yet but it's now coming from what I saw!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- the non-dev team will be able to edit and add content, which will free their time to code real stuff
- better interface overall, and scalable website.

Extremly productive CMS
What do you like best about the product?
The upsides are the customization and flexibility that it gives both the editor and developer
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation can be lacking in some areas, but the community is helpful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building an application for a student chapter that needs to provide tickets to their members for certain events
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it! Don't question it!
Best headless CMS
What do you like best about the product?
Just the best CMS. It's headless and help to make a secure and easy database and authentification backend system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't find the way to secure access to media library.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had a simply and secure authentification system and database system.
Best open-source CMS of 2020s!
What do you like best about the product?
Fully customizable, written entirely in JavaScript, vibrant community, tonnes of support. Additionally, I've observed Strapi grow, develop and ship new features at the speed of light! Which is not only encouraging and assuring but also inspiring!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, it's hard to think of anything that I dislike. Strapi has proven to enable the projects I work on to ship complex data structures and solve problems related to getting an early idea off the ground in record times! From the free and open-source projects, this is hands down the best one I've come across. They just rolled out Version 4 beta, which on top of all the awesome flexibility and functionality, also looks gorgeous! If you haven't yet, go check them out, you will most probably not regret it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shipping new features within a matter of hours, not weeks. Building my startup and helping clients to develop and ship features with little to no friction.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking to ship and test a new concept, ideate and test the functionality of a product and all of that entirely in an open-source environment, with almost a decade of experience in entrepreneurship and working with CMS-es and the need to ship new websites or functionality I cannot think of a better tool for someone who's not an expert developer. That said, expert developers will be able to benefit just as much, and more, of course.
Impressive API/CMS system with a feature rich free community edition
What do you like best about the product?
Strapi offers a lot out of the box, and most of it can be had with the free community edition. This is great for those looking for something that you can quickly get up and running. For more advanced functionality, you can fairly easily write custom code / plugins for more complex situations.
What do you dislike about the product?
CMS publishing workflow is still primitive. Currently only supports a draft and publish status. If a conent item was already published, there is no way to test changes out without unpublishing the content item entirely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating a somewhat simple CMS backend for a marketing website. After the initial effort to create the components and collection types, it makes content creation and updates a lot easier than having content and pages hard coded on the marketing site itself like we were doing previously.
Very good!
What do you like best about the product?
Easily build backends for whatever frontend needed
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, I can honestly say this product is awesome
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits are great: with a few clicks you have a full API
