    Human Resources

I missed the opportunity of my dreams because I didn't know strapi before.

  • August 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
In general, the resources are extremely simple and give a perfect speed in developing and deploying applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way to perform the relationship between tables in the many-to-many format is still not user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using it to support a simple backend framework to gather human resource information in just one place, much like a blog framework and adding some tooling features.

Quick Start CMS with Loads of Customization Options

  • July 27, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
East set up and out-of-the-box functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
The default UX could be improved. There are more modern components Strapi could be using for lists, component organization, and editing screens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provide an easy way to allow content editors and managers to organize our archival data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a fully capable CMS that is Dev friendly, Strapi is great. Don't expect unlimited customization options but there is much you can do with Strapi.

Great API builder (for a decoupled CMS approach)

  • July 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Quiet complete tool, even in the "community edition"
Useful for an education point of view because data and API are decoupled from the presentation site.
The set-up is easy, and the tool is highly customizable
What do you dislike about the product?
The personalization of the admin UI is quite complex (limited documentation, complicated tree view of the files)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Education point-of-view: quick creation of APIs to develop websites, modern approach for the design of websites with an admin panel
- Fast prototyping of a management tools for "portfolio de traces" (in skills-based approach)

Creating a Fullstack project in simple steps using strapi and it's API

  • July 07, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that all the APIs are created on the go, all methods on the APIs are all set. That is like a gold key to me
What do you dislike about the product?
The time it takes to refresh after creating a collection, sometimes I have to restart the server on development
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In time project delivery.
Strapi gives hope to junior devs who'd love to experience what goes on in the backend.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's the best option for a CMS, and can literally work for any frontend stack available out there

first step with strapi

  • July 04, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
strapi offer a great interface, user management et role access base. all that is combined with a great API providing all the information we need about the content of our website
What do you dislike about the product?
the lack of information and guidance in the interface. I have spent 20 min trying to set roles for my user for allowing them to have user management without giving them full access but I could not succeed, I guess is because I have to pay to have more users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A client asks me to build him a showcase/portfolio website but he also wants to manage the content and article. I had to find a CMS but not a WordPress. Strapi resolves my issue by offering me exactly what I wanted.

    Non-Profit Organization Management

One of the best node.js based content management systems

  • June 30, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to setup strapi. Difference user interaces help you to create content types, releations and fields without any need to code. It comes with a REST and GraphQL API out of the tools, which provide a very good developer experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The GraphQL endpoint becomes slowly once you are using more content types with many relations, but the core team is working on that. Also dynamic zones could be more intuitive to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Strapi helps us to organize content that is clearly structured (Events) aswell as generic pages, which are embedding other content types.

My go to CMS for any JAM Stack project

  • June 28, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Strapi is that I'm able to spin up a CMS in less than a minute. Yes, it really is that fast. Just a single quickstart command in the terminal and you're ready to build out your content structure for use in any project.

When I explain Strapi to other developers, I usually tell them to think Wordpress Pages + Posts + Media + Custom Post Types + Advanced Custom Fields + Users, all rolleded into 1, easily accessible via API, without the parts that you don't need and with a better user experience.

Strapi makes development so much quicker. No longer do I have to think about setting up, managing and interacting with databases. Instead, everything I would need a database for is now handled by Strapi. API endpoints for all of my data are generated automatically, making it easily consumable from any front end app.

I love that Strapi is free and open-source, making it very easy to customise Strapi 'till your hearts content. The Strapi core team also work hard to push new updates and functionality while listening to and engaging with the community. It's the best of both worlds.
What do you dislike about the product?
I might have once said that the UI could be a little less bland, but with Strapi version 4 just around the corner and the upcoming re-design they showed off, I'm just excited for the update.

The only real issues I have with using Strapi aren't directly related to Strapu itself. The only slight problem I have is hosting Node apps in general due to the more complex requirements than what I'd been accustomed to. For example, there aren't a thousand companies offering easy to use 1-click installs like in the Wordpress world or easy push-to-git solutions you get in the javascript front end world. This, of course, makes hosting Strapi a little less intuitive for beginners. That being said, I know that the Strapi team is currently working on an in-house hosting solution, so I look forward to that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, I'm using Strapi in portfolio-type websites to manage page content and blogs, etc. I'm also using Strapi for business websites where I have to manage users and authentication. So far, I can't imagine there being many, if any, projects that Strapi wouldn't be great for.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try, it's free, and you have nothing to lose. Even if it's just on your local machine for testing, setup takes no time at all.

    Non-Profit Organization Management

Empowering our Non-Profit to create customers experiences that are accessible for any user.

  • June 22, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Just watching an idea become a meaningful experience for our team and customers do not happen simultaneously. Especially, when we had to use two different teams dedicated for ios or android design features or functions. It's the user-friendly interface that's empowering our team to integrate their favorite tools without requiring intense technical knowledge aquisition.
What do you dislike about the product?
New to Strapi, therefore I don't have any dislikes at the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Strapi allows our Non-profit to simplify a fragmented procurement ecosystem for historically underutilized businesses and underfunded social entrepreneur projects that improve their local communities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For non-profit leaders, we recommend Strapi because its making a big difference with our time-to-deployment
