My College Strapi Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Highly customizable, React-based, and support for Graphql.
What do you dislike about the product?
Users can't customize the admin panel content-form UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have developed all our college fests' events and club events using Strapi. With Strapi, we could quickly develop the backend, which also came with a pre-ready admin panel. It helped us to prepare our event swiftly before the deadline.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For starters, who have a tight deadline or want to prototype their idea quickly, I will recommend going for strapi.
An Excellent Headless CMS - Customizable, Easy to Use, Flexible, Fast , Scalable and Easy to set up
What do you like best about the product?
You can easily customize, can create new plugins, and can easily modify the existing UI. Content is easily accessible through REST API or GraphQL.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are only 3 roles in the free tier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building a flexible system that allows multiple types of users to add and edit content. Headless makes it very easy to consume the data.
Strapi is the best headless CMS currently because of its fast API development process and its flexibility.
Strapi is the best headless CMS currently because of its fast API development process and its flexibility.
Strapi is one of the fastest ways to go from an empty project to a functioning backend.
What do you like best about the product?
The administration UI makes DB architecture very straightforward, while at the same time Strapi exposes enough under the hood to remain highly extensible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Any "magic wand" solutions always suffer the same problem; less transparency about the underlying low-level processes that are happening. Fortunately this has not been a huge drawback for me with Strapi.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently using it as a way to enable customers to edit their own content, replacing older CMS solutions like Wordpress.
Works well and is easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Strapi is a simple yet powerful CMS that is very customisable. We were able to stop developing our own CMS and use Strapi instead, since all its options made it work even for our specialised needs. The developer experience is good too, both when working with the API and adding our own custom plugins and extensions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Strapi's admin interface is totally unusable on a mobile device, and the Jekyll plugin doesn't have support for all of the content types. I'd also like support for single sign-on to be more affordable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Strapi lets us manage our entire website, both the interactive and static parts, in one location. Since there's an easy JSON API, it also makes the idea of future development more straightforward.
Strapi is all I wanted
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and effectiveness in content building
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss a configurable admin desktop panel
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm developing a non-profit organization backend website with many content types, users management with specific permissions and roles
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Strapi is CMS very easy to understand, intuitive to administer, and at the same time powerful with all the necessary and semi-automated functionalities executed in a friendly way.
Good cms for javascript developer
What do you like best about the product?
It is javascript based, graphql support, and the ability to run it locally.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many bugs, the free tier is trash, there is only 3 roles in the free tier, you can't even delete one of them. No typescript version out of the box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making API mockup real quick for demo showcase
Strapi, a modern CMS that delivers.
What do you like best about the product?
Strapi is modern, flexible, stable, easy to use and impressively well designed. The admin page is intended to be customizable by overriding if needed. The ability to create custom user roles is a must. Dynamic Zones make it very easy to create flexible, reusable content models.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not currently possible to use nested Dynamic zones inside another component.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None
High quality CMS
What do you like best about the product?
Strapi helps us with the back-end solution. We want to develop a service with user authentication and a database. One possibility was to implement it from scratch, but then we got to the Strapi, which met all our needs. It provides an easy UI for creating DB and also for creating new users, roles, and also managing access rights. It is much simpler and safer for us to use Strapi than to implement this. It was super easy to install and very intuitive to start using. Also, DB schemas are clear, with no extra fields used by CMS itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now, we don't see a big downside to Strapi. We will see how hard it will be if we need to bend the code to our purposes. Till now, everything seems easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to build the service with back-end and front-end. It is much easier a safer to use Strapi than to implement the back-end by ourself.
A highly customisable headless API saved us heaps of time and a pleasure to work with
What do you like best about the product?
Combined with Dio HTTP cache in Flutter, Strapi has enabled us to build up an easy-to-manage app menu and content system, allowing us to make live changes in a beautiful UI without code changes and app releases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some documentation and answers to common questions are outdated for older versions, can cause some confusion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ready-made dashboard has saved us time and money. The HTTP API to insert data via scripts allows us to pull data from Podbean, Vimeo, Instagram etc in a draft state, allowing us to log in and publish new content.
