What do you like best about the product?
XTM Cloud is a complete TMS that meets all of our localization requirements:
- Centralized TM (Real-Time TM sharing) and terminology integration
- Workflow Management
- Templates
- Powerful reporting
- Integrated Machine translation engines
- Great Customer support
- etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial setup can be a bit daunting, but we were supported throughout the configuration by XTM product specialists and were provided training on a regular basis to get us going.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First of all, XTM is Cloud based and is ideal for our team which is distributed across several continents.
Since the 10 years since we've been using XTM, they have evolved to adapt to the ever changing needs of the Localization industry and our specific needs by providing ever more connectors, third-party integrations, popular features, etc.
In practice, this means that whatever file format, CMS, Machine translation or VCS you're using, you can be confident XTM will have a solution. And if not, they can also develop customized features, so don't hesitate to get in touch with them should the need arise!

What do you like best about the product?
XTM Cloud is a versatile system that allows the admins to tailor it to their liking, down to the smallest details. It can feel a little overwhelming at first, but once you dig into it, you'll come to appreciate the amount of control you have. It's simple and intuitive for linguists to use while giving them a lot of adjustment options as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The available customisation options can feel overwhelming at first and the system takes some studying to get the most out of it. However, I would much rather have the options available than to simplify the system and lose control.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
XTM Cloud allows us to concentrate the vast majority of our translation tasks in one place so the linguists don't need to learn to navigate multiple different systems. It offers us the possibility to use machine translation to help us out, and it creates translation memories of everything we translate, so we're both faster and more consistent. We use it mainly internally, but we've also added some external freelancers to the system so we can translate texts without needing to give externals access to our internal systems.

Easy to use and reliable CAT tool

What do you like best about the product?
XTM Cloud allows us to create new filters and import settings in easy and fast way. Sometimes not all the options are available on our side, however XTM support is always there to help us in a fast and friendly way.
System performance is stable and we usually don't experience any issues with the reliability.
Great support, we are receving answers to our queries very fast and the support team is always very friendly and helpful.
XTM Cloud supports many different connectors, which allows us to create different automatizations in our workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
XTM Cloud doesn't support import of larger files (more than 1GB), which sometimes force us to process the files outside XTM.
The UI could be a bit more user friendly.
There is no option to create a hierarchy of the TMs and TBs stored in the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
XTM is integrated with out Project Management System, which allows us to process projects faster and avoid lots of manual work.
XTM offers many different settings for importing various of file formats, including lots of customized filter settings, which allows us to process almost any file that we receive for translation.

What do you like best about the product?
XTM is very versatile and easy to use. Configuration areas are intuitive, and it's very flexible when it comes to making changes and updates as the business needs change.
What do you dislike about the product?
The TM management module and the reporting dashboards. Everything else is great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can manage multiple types of content flows, updates, several translators, different file types, and multiple languages. The leveraging has improved, and XTM Workbench has increased the translators' productivity.

What do you like best about the product?
XTM enables us to manage projects for all types of clients efficiently and securely. It is easy to use, support is fast and efficient and our account management is outstanding. We feel well catered for and listened to.
We can tailor functionality/settings to our needs and the needs of our clients. The pricing model is easy to understand and helps our business forecast with confidence. We can rely on a robust performance and very rarely see any outages or performance issues. Where they occur, they are dealt with quickly.
The tool has improved a lot over the years, both regards security as well as functionality to keep pace with a fast developing industry and growth of its clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could at times be easier to navigate. Improved reporting functionality, visualisation and a dashboard would be great, it can be cumbersome at times to get data out of the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
XTM integrates with our Project Management System, enabling a streamlined, partially automated, cost-efficient process that allows us to scale.
It enables us to store translation resources such as Translation Memories and Glossaries and supports our Quality Assurance process with many options that we can tailor according to workflow.
In XTM we have found a CAT Tool solution that is cost and time saving for us, and ultimately for our clients.

What do you like best about the product?
XTM offers all the functionality you expect for a translation project management tool.

XTM account management and technical support are excellent, always friendly and helpful.

The pricing model is simple and easy to scale.

XTM offers an excellent range of out-of-the-box connectors that make it easy to integrate with other systems.

It is easy to customise the system settings and file filters to optimise the product for your needs.

The system performance (in Private Cloud) is excellent, we very rarely have any downtime or slowness.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface isn't the most attractive or intuitive at times.

You are unable to create a hierarchy of translation memories which can make it difficult to manage clients with complex requirements.

Reporting and visualisation is limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
XTM allows us to automate our translation workflow to streamline the process, especially with the easy integration to our business management tool.

XTM stores all our translation resources (TM, glossary etc) in the Cloud to ensure we are always leveraging the most up to date resource across all our linguists.

XTM enables a simple and fast quality assurance to ensure we are delivering the best quality.

What do you like best about the product?
XTM's customer support is exceptional. Whenever I have encountered an issue or had a question, their support team has been prompt, knowledgeable, and eager to assist. They provide regular updates, listen to user feedback, and continually improve the software based on user needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some differences in usability on different browsers can be noticed. I would like to see a streamlined performance over all browsers (incl. Safari), though it must be said that the performance on both Chrome and Firefox is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
XTM supports a wide range of file formats, integrates with other systems (such as content management systems), and provides customizable workflows. This flexibility enables organizations to handle translation projects of varying complexity and scale.
