A flexible tool that can evolve with our business.
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to create models that speak to each other whenever necessary. The tool is flexible enough for us to design models that enhance the user experience over excel and provide ability to perform calculations in real-time across much larger data sets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Anaplan's calculation engine and models are rhobust, but visuals are still lacking. Having multiple UX options creates inconsistency across the user base and inflexibility of visuals requires exports of data to excel for reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduces errors that might be caused through the use of Excel, reduces amount of time spent on analysis and data maintenance. Significantly improves communication across the business.

Very powerful tool for Business Planning/Actual Reporting and Analysis
What do you like best about the product?
Multidimensional structure, real-time computation of data, easy and comprehendible Excel alike formulas, dashboards with a graphical representation of data, and many more
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing sparsity is a challenge with Anaplan, as in a real-life scenario there will be multiple heavy-weight dimensions, and with Anaplan acquiring space for the cells where there will be no data is a bit challenging from a business perspective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anaplan helps in enterprise-wide planning, bringing all the departments together to collaboratively plan the budget and play their specific roles. It has crunched the data preparation and budget preparation time allowing more time to review.

-Application lifecycle management in the NUX requires tedious maintenance
-Formatting options available in the NUX are minimum and could be increased

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-We can focus on value-added analysis to increase confidence in the output by leveraging anaplan's faster, more reliable plans, analyses and reports

What do you like best about the product?
It allows creation of multiple hierarchies within the consolidation - important for creating multiple sets of financial statements for different users.
What do you dislike about the product?
New company set up is relatively straightforward once you know the steps but it seems like some of the steps could be automated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currency conversion is much simpler - formerly it was done manually for each entity and the risk of error was high. Now it's done automatically by simply entering the rates.
Good for targeted use cases but don't expect major flexibility.
What do you like best about the product?
Anaplan's scalability is top-notch. Since everything is performed in memory, it's very easy to scale out a model as long as the workspace size is available. Anaplan's low-code platform is also good for a lot of the ultimate end users and administrators using Anaplan to manage, maintain, and enhance existing models while building new ones to meet the demands of their enterprises' planning needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Personally, I would like to have more flexibility in writing functions. Custom functions would be a game-changer in terms of how complex a model can be. Data integrations are also very tedious and can be a pain to make adjustments to depending on the tools being used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anaplan seeks to solve problems common to planning in enterprises. Namely, siloed workstreams fed by disparate data sources, minimal collaboration in the planning cycle, lack of visibility, and difficulty in maintaining complex processes using tools that are not intended to scale to enterprise levels.

Being able to use excel based reports to create what you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ETL process could be improved to speak directly to local ERP systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is reducing the time in the consolidation process.

What do you like best about the product?
Anaplan supports all varied use case such as financial planning, headcount planning, sales performance management, supply chain management etc. It provides the opportunity to have connected planning approach along with maintaining data integrity as well as being the golden source of truth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain features are raised and still in process of improvements such as ALM sync, model rollback etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anaplan drastically brings down the manual intervention required for planning in large corporations hence contributing to its overall performance.

What do you dislike about the product?
This tool sometimes struggles to handle volumes of data if not configured properly. Model builder has to be very carefull while developing if the volums of data is very high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its majorly solves the problem of collaborations which avoids the time dealys in processing the data and that time can inturn be used for productive decision making.

What do you like best about the product?
The powerful and flexible capabilities of the platform, but deliverable in such a way that allows the business to take ownership of its models, apps, and ecosystem (low/no-code).
What do you dislike about the product?
Given the current state of the platform feature improvements, there are a few parallel views of the platform concurrently available. For example, you can model using the old or new interface which can lead to confusion among newer users not familiar with the old style.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connected planning - Through better enabling the business to take ownership of their end-to-end processes while allowing the organization to more quickly take action on strategic objectives through connected planning.

What do you like best about the product?
This software contains multiple impeccable specifications and facilitates the users in many ways. You can run various functions with the best troubleshooting system. Additionally, this tool matches the organization’s needs and offers a broad range of functions. Anaplan gives the users high-end clarification of problems which works great for all.
What do you dislike about the product?
This software is easy to install but not easy to use for all. Yes, some well-trained professionals can use this tool. Thus, the users have to take Anaplan training first in some house and then, start working with it. So, it is not flexible for all and shows much hassle while executing functions.

There is a broad range of benefits that this system offers. So, you can easily install this software and it is quite easy to implement than the excel installation. Furthermore, it offers the best and quick approach for forecasting and planning. It is quite an easy way to execute data entry functions than that excel.

In short, the Anaplan sales premium tool contains multiple beneficial features and thus, it is highly recommended for use. So, it is strong enough to compute large data in less time. This software shows thorough insights into analytics.
