Ansible is a way to improve everything we are doing.
What do you like best about the product?
Atuomation and all the uses you can do with Ansible

a little tricky to learn and I still need to find more help guides

the use of automation to take care of the day to day tasks and other things to make my job smooth and so i can focus on other taks
Implementing AAP has improved our workflows by weeks.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that AAP is so easy to use. It allows us to easy run playbooks that our dev teams have devloped.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now, i think the LDAP/AD setup proccess could be simpler.
I think the disconnected bundle install procces needs to be re looked at. I think there should be a prompt that is expecting the " ssh key known hosts" question. It appears that throws the installer off quite a bit.

AAP is solving the lag time between Jira requests for virtual machines.

It save alot of time by automating reptitive task

May be it is good if you add some futurs like generating some reports

What do you like best about the product?
Ansible Automation platform is the solution for automating everything within the IT sphere - whether it's application automation, infrastructure automation or network automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve. You have to be a Red Hat customer and need access to a subscription. It's not free to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a DevOps platform that brings Developers and Ops personnel together in a single platform. With everybody on a same platform, it really helps to bridge the gap between the teams that sit in different parts of the globe, and that too, with different priorities.
Ansible Tower is great, but has a few limitations.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like deploying ansible playbook collections from Git and I am able repeately run tasks on a given schedule
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like is more of an underlying Ansbile. When running an ansible playbook, Ansible requires root (All) bespoke privilages, instead of a sudoer profile that gives explict commands only. There are work arounds for this, but why does root need to print out an echo prompt as root? (as can be seen with ansible-playbook -vvvv).

This allows us a very geneneric (in a very good way), automation platform that is agentless.

AAP makes automation (kinda) easy to use!

Understanding function names for internal and 3rd party modules can be difficult.

Helps us manage a wide range of systems under a single pane of glass... And it works!

I like the ability to automate day to day operations, and to proactively deal with mundane problems in our environment.

Installation of the platform could be a little less complex

Patching disparate systems thru a single tool
It is very easy to use.

It allows for me to work together with my colleagues to accomplish like goals and benefit our organization

There is not much to dislike. We have not implemented it yet, and I am unaware of what could be bad at this point. However, in a couple months I can resubmit a review
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It will allow me to patch my servers without too much manual intervention. Right now I am having to log in and check servers after patching to make sure they were patched correctly. I will use this service to check on the health of my servers and receive validation through the platform that the servers are online and patched correctly

Ease of use and full contorol of the environment.

Nothing in specific. Its pretty good in terms of dev experience
