Pmm performance metrics
What do you like best about the product?
PMM was lacking the resources to manage your database performance. You can assess your current deployment and help yourself understand how to use Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM) to ensure optimal performance, especially during high traffic events that affect your database environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many update alerts when using the PMM tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yes, I'm a DBA. Further promote the PMM for future tasks.
Very easy to install, and give detailed insights

I like the galera cluster size chart I keep this following all time since I havent installed cluster notifications, yet

I like everything, I havent got the time to enable all kind of services though

PMM tool made DBA & SYSTEM admin life easy.
What do you like best about the product?
I have just started using the PMM Tool (for the last 2 Months). Excellent with real-time monitoring of ALL DBs under one place, also monitor OS statistics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now. Highly awaiting for version that include xtrabackup included in PMM. also Please implement xtrabackup daily email alerts after completing backup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization utilizes a Tungsten multi-active active cluster, comprising over 10 clusters and 30+ active MySQL databases. Manually managing such a complex environment is a daunting task; however, Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM) simplifies this process by providing a centralized dashboard for comprehensive monitoring of all MySQL database instances.
Good monitoring solution
What do you like best about the product?
PMM provide full visualisation package where we can view each and every required metrics which very helpful to troubleshoot the issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like this monitoring tool which provides a complete solution using Prometheus/Grafana for the mongo/mysql metrics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its solving the any production issues and able to deep dive using this metrics.
It's a great tools and easy to use, give our team easy understanding about our PXC DB

Open source is huge adventage. Best to replace netdata in our company. Quickly troubleshoot issues. Quick trouble-shooting before customers report issues

Percona Monitoring tool PMM
What do you like best about the product?
PMM is the most power full tool for monitoring and management, I used it for a long time for Performance Database and Monitoring of Database, it is open source and requires support by Percona.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing any dislike as of now, We have already used PMM tool for a long time in my current project so good Database Monitoring and Performance of the Database. As my experience, not any dislike is there on PMM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Database Monitoring and Query Performance, Monitoring DB logs report, Database Memory Performance and Online schema change via Percona tool kit included in PMM.
A free and very competent monitoring software

PMM gives a very broad and also deep picture on how your databases are doing. Lots of various dashboards are available for a number of open source databases

Installing and upgrading clients procedure could be a little simpler

1> It can be slow to render. We have thousands of databases and millions of tables. In such env. Percona PMM doesn't work well.

1> For new technologies like proxysql it gives native monitoring support. We dont need any plugins support or anything
