What do you like best about the product?
SPSS is relatively straightforward and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see some changes in layout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of the work I do is exploratory. I’ve seen it useful for improving educational programs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Taking a statistics course will help you use this software.

I had to multiple examples and chat threads to figure it out.

Using it to analyze higher education research. It helps us create diagrams and output to present our solutions.

The option of clicking from a menu or using syntax for an analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! It can take a bit of time to load but other than that, it works well.

Research questions are being answered.

Intuitive design and clear explanations - if you can use excel, you can use SPSS.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few hotkeys to do actions quickly.

Quantitative analysis of education research is clear with SPSS

What do you like best about the product?
GUI, easy to use. Generalized linear modell analysis. The ease of which analyses are made.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could be easier to use, some parts are esoteric. Some stats are repetitive and require multiple clicks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Calculating research statistics

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create custom analysis including tables and charts
What do you dislike about the product?
The graphics are still a little weak. I export to Excel
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we are in Education, we constantly are breaking the data by college etc. Tables does this wonderfully!

This program has been around for decades and is widely recognized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no dislikes regarding application. It is based upon reliable data entry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It handles most investigational queries produces meaningful relational. industry wide results.

Perfect for people who are not programmers

What do you like best about the product?
It has a good GUI interface which makes it easy to do statistics with programming. The options are very clear and grouped well. It is very easy to create graphs from the data. Also, you have the freedom to write up short scripts for analysing some data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes up a lot of space and consumes a lot of memory. The patches aren't always stable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easy to analyse large and small data sets obtained from research studies. It is convenient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are using version 24, don't install the two patches.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to use the pull down menus, use syntax, and/or a combination of both. It is generally user friendly with a clean layout.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not yet able to easily handle much more complicated and sophisticated analysis without some additional proxy code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to analyze our data efficiently and effectively. It is also a great platform to clean, organize, and visual data before analyzing it in other software.
