What do you like best about the product?
Simple and easy to use and learn, most of the functions are visual, simple operation of the mouse can complete some functions, do not need to write complex code statements, there are a complete variety of language reference books for learning.
What do you dislike about the product?
R language than flexible, low scalability, software is too large, easy to consume memory.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In social sciences, such as economic analysis, market research and other scenarios, SPSS is used for preliminary model analysis, data mining, quantitative analysis and prediction analysis.

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent Software have using it since my undergraduate, useful and robust for statistical analysis, It is good at descriptive analysis like Mean, Median,Mode,deviation and variance also a perfect software for ANOVA, chi square, I would recommend it to anyone either in the scientific field or academic

I find it too useful search that i couldn't see notice any negativity in it

Consider IBM SPSS as it is an Easy to use software and provides perfect results,
especially when you are dealing with predictions and many more scientific research

I like the smart/calculator functions just like in excel. This is a great place to work through large amounts of data, has more advanced functions than excel

Huge program- doesn't work well on older or slower computers

I used this primarily for research in a graduate assistant role. This program allows users to process information unlike any other software

More in-program help functions. I only ever learned how to do anything in SPSS from friends or coworkers, whereas excel is easy to learn internally. SPSS users need help! Make help easily accessible.

What do you like best about the product?
SPSS utilizes a "point and click" method of analyzing data. This is very easy and user-friendly so that even novice analyzers can use this software for basic statistical methods. In addition, there are lots of tutorials online that can aid novice analyzers in their efforts using SPSS.
What do you dislike about the product?
In some versions of SPSS that I've used its more difficult to formulate a table that includes p values via chi square or t-tests. The development of this ability has been very helpful in my analysis efforts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am analyzing hair cortisol levels between mothers and their children. I also relate these hair cortisol concentrations to childhood asthma prevalence.
Not the prettiest, but the most efficient
What do you like best about the product?
Compared to other statistical softwares it is the best. Allows for complex crosstabs and analysis with far more ease than excel or other similar software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Saving window sizes, saving scripts, etc could be less tedious. When presenting results you have to import them to excel of make an infographic to make them "pop".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data analysis, crosstabs, demography. It is an affordable software which allows us to quickly run data analysis on very large datasets.

watch tutorials online before starting.

SPSS makes statistics just a little bit easier. Just enter the data and it takes care of the results.

Could be a bit more user friendly. I had to go through quite a training to properly use product.

It helps keep track of data that could be overwhelming otherwise.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it is pretty straight forward to run simple regressions and data analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the major setbacks of SPSS for me is that I do not like how the graphs look and always have to recreate them for my poster presentations.

I use SPSS to run my data analysis for my projects. It gives me ways to represent my data as well

Quite easy to upload data for modeling
