Good solution for multi-site file sync projects
What do you like best about the product?
I implement this for many clients having multiple branches. The WAN optimization is best feature. Even on bad internet, it sends data reliable. I like that it doesn't need cloud upload first, it is direct device to device. Very secure for my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The management console UI is little old style. Sometimes my clients get confused with permissions settings. Troubleshooting logs are very technical, difficult to explain to non-technical manager. Price is okay but for small business clients, it is expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My clients were struggling with VPN file sharing speed. It was too slow. Resilio solved this completely. Now they share VDI profiles and heavy server backups between sites easily. It reduces my support tickets regarding "file not sending" issues.
Very fast syncing tool for big files transfer
What do you like best about the product?
I like the speed very much. It uses peer-to-peer technology which makes file transfer very fast for large data. We are using it for server sync and it works perfect even on low internet connection. The central management console is very helpful for IT team to control everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup is little bit complex for first time users. You need some technical knowledge to configure agents properly. Also, the pricing is on higher side for small companies. Documentation is there but sometimes it is hard to find specific error solutions quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are transferring huge video files and log data between our head office and branch offices daily. Before it was taking too much time and failing often. Now with Resilio, we send TBs of data in few hours only. It saves our time and bandwidth cost.
Fabulously Lightning- Fast Data Reliable Multisite Sync Securely Synchronize Data Across the World.
What do you like best about the product?
Fabulously experience has been good at having multipale office locations keep files shared/Synced simply and easily. Securly uses Industry -Standard encryption protocols like TLS -1.2 With AES-256 or AES-128.Some time it has not been completely Hands-Off, and I discovered I needed to upgrade Memory on NAS devices, as Resilio does consume a fair bit of memory ,and the NAS would Kill the Resilio service if Memory or CPU usage became too high, but through experience and understanding restrictions of Hardware and software,I find it is now highly reliable, and I have peace of mind that all peer locations have an Up-To-Date version of all work files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Resilio Active Everywhere can feel complex to configure initially. It requires careful permission management and may consume significant bandwidth during large syncs.Limited customisation in reporting and higher pricing for advanced features can also be drawbacks.Would like A few better management or dashbord to monitor if peers go OFF- LINE or syne status, possibly some easier ability to add folders to ignore list versus having to edit a text file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Big problem solve Client with NAS makes it easy to add or connect to folders on their NAS appliance and share those folders with other sites.Because they have the same interface for all locations,It's very easy for them to create new folders to syne/share. It's maintain today many teams work in hybrid setup ( On-Premise+ Cloud) or across regions.Maintaining consistent and current data everywhere is traditionally complex. So its help maintain data everywhere. That even if the main Hub/Server gose offline,Resilio will Intelligently Find.
Lightning-Fast File Sharing for Creative Teams
What do you like best about the product?
We are making heavy video ads and graphic files daily. Resilio is magic for this. I just put file in folder, and my team in Bangalore and Mumbai get it very fast. No upload download waiting like Google Drive. It uses full internet speed. Very happy with speed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is little bit costly for small teams. Also, the dashboard looks very technical, like for IT people only. Sometimes setup takes time if you don't know server settings. Mobile app is okay but desktop is much better. We faced one issue with firewall once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Resilio, we used WeTransfer or Drive. It took hours to send 10GB raw footage to editors. Now it happens in minutes. My marketing team saves 2-3 hours daily. We can finish campaigns faster because file sharing is automatic. No need to email links anymore.
The best tool for making sure that hybrid clouds sync quickly and reliably
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the P2P architecture because it syncs data across our AWS and on-premise systems really quickly. It is a lot better than the DFSR we used to use. The primary console shows all jobs in full view. It can handle big files without any problems and is dependable.
What do you dislike about the product?
For smaller teams, the cost of the license is a little expensive. For complicated API integrations, the documentation should be better; sometimes it's hard to understand. It takes a while to open the right ports in the firewall during the initial setup. The user interface is fine, but it might appear more current.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are fixing the big problem of data transfer being delayed across different places. Moving big CAD files used to take too long, which slowed down projects. Replication is now happening in real time with Resilio Active Everywhere. It helps us by always keeping our disaster recovery site up to date and ready.
Effortless File Sync Across Multiple Locations
What do you like best about the product?
Keeps files in sync at multiple sites. We use it in 3 different states.
What do you dislike about the product?
The notification emails are kind of bare.
I only login to the console when a user has a question and every single time I do it requires a password change.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Microsoft replication worked ok until it didn't. Then the company would basically be offline until we could fix it. Resilio doesn't have those problems.
Robust Platform with Powerful Diagnostic Tools
What do you like best about the product?
The Resilio platform is very robust. As an IT engineer, what I like best is the ability to quickly diagnose issues with the tools in the application.
What do you dislike about the product?
My least favorite thing is the occasional cryptic error messages. I think these can be made a clearer for the IT tech or end users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business has grown, and after acquiring many companies, we needed a way to share and collaborate with users across these companies. Each had its own on-site file servers, and we needed a way to move and store in the cloud and allow access to users all around the country. Resilio solved all of these issues.
Resilio: Highly Customizable and User-Friendly.
What do you like best about the product?
Fit for purpose, advanced customization, ease of use and good support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike but would be good if we have more useful video tutorials
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it application data sync across our offshore and onshore locations
Reliable Global File Sharing, Excellent Support—Upgrade Process Needs Streamlining
What do you like best about the product?
We are using Resilio to share files to and from our fleet all over the world. Even with very slow connections this works really good.
Compared to the previous solution we need a lot less maintenance and users are now even asking to expand the scope to endpoints we did not even know of.
Very happy with the support too.

What do you dislike about the product?
The interface may be improved somewhat.
And the upgrade procedure takes hours to complete in our situation, and upgrading the agents is not managed by the Resilio console. That would be very helpful if they implement an automatic update system.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files over slow connections is a challenge sometimes. But Resilio gets it done.
Set-It-and-Forget-It Solution, Though Support Could Be Faster when called upon
What do you like best about the product?
It works better than our previous solution from NetApp. They discontinued their product, and we found this one. So far, we've had to deal with a few issues that required a little attention, but this product is basically set it and forget it. This solution has made working from San Diego to Melbourne Australia very pleasant for my users in San Diego. You can hardly tell a different in speed from wither location.
What do you dislike about the product?
Originally, support requests weren't getting resolved as fast as expected. There's still a little lag with support in comparison with our previous product. They had 3 guys that handled all support calls, all were well versed in the product and were able to resolve support calls in a very short time. All 3 were level 2/3 support, so most issues were resolved on the front line and didn't need to get escalated to Dev.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
File acceleration from San Diego - US to Melbourne Australia. It's working great.
