My experience has been great.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it sends employees phishing emails. Usually the employees will reach out to me and ask if it is real or not, before they do anything with it. It provides peace of mind to the HR Department.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many features I would look to improve. The only thing I can speak on truly would be engagement. The employees get through the trainings but I am not sure that they enjoy them fully. If they were more interactive I think it would be more entertaining for them. Entertaining is a great way to learn and comprehend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The security awareness training gives our admin team peace of mind in the fact that we know employees know better than to click things that come via email randomly
Easy To Use, Comprehensive, Training Platform
What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of different options within the KnowBe4 platform that allows you to train and test your employees on all different levels. The Customer Success team helps you navigate and implement all the campaigns you need, which is very helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a little difficult to adjust our Company filters to allow for the KnowBe4 phishing campaigns to successful sent the emails, however overall, it is a great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 is training, teaching, and testing our staff on the risks in the current landscape we operate within. The training is definetely needed and as our employees learn more and become more aware of these threats, it will mitigate our risk of any threats in the future, which is very important.
KnowBe4 provides comprehensive security awareness and makes it easy to distribute.
What do you like best about the product?
The training modules have good content and are presented in an enjoyable format. You can select them based on length to ensure you are not forcing your users to spend too much time.
What do you dislike about the product?
When assigning training modules, the web portal is a bit clunky. For example, it takes a lot of clicks to replace an expired training module within a training campaign.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is keeping my users aware of the dangers of phishing, social engineering, etc. The ability to test my users with simulated phishing tests keeps them on their toes and demonstrates their increased awareness.
I've been happy with KnowBe4 at two different employers
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it gets the end users involved in training that I think keeps them involved or entertained, for the most part. Not an easy feat!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need our end users to beef up their security knowledge and experience, and KnowBe4 helps with that.
Excellent Compliance Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The user tracking/completion is fantastic, as are the customizable notifcation emails that can be automatically sent for a campaign. It cuts down a lot of manual work and reporting to have all that infor in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
My org creates a lot of custom content to publish but there are limitations with only being able to import certain types of SCORM files and having limited capabilities/no capabilities to change the player settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the problem of having to constantly create custom content which is a huge lift for our team and is a time commitment we wouldn't be able to manage. We feel the content is great and covers a wide variety of relevant topics in security awareness.
Great tool to keep your users aware of danger
What do you like best about the product?
Great automation features, good phishing templates in multiple languages, always up-to-date.
What do you dislike about the product?
The videos and animations can be too silly or childish at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identify problematic users, generate data for the executives above.
Knowbe4 product review
What do you like best about the product?
I apperciate the wide assortment of templates and training materials that are available to us. Templates are easy to configure and push to our end users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the Knowbe4 Learner app not having SSO integration. To get the Learner app configured for the user is a complicated process. We also don't quite understand how the algorithm of the user scores are measured. Another pain point is that the templates with attachments will get counted as false positive if the user uses the report message button in Outlook. Support mentioned to use the Phish Alert Button but we have already trained our users on the report message button in Outlook, so using the Phish Alert Button is not something we have interest in utilizing. Basically, better integration with Microsoft would be apperciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Users are getting better at identifying potential spam messages and are reaching out to our help desk to verify the validity of the message in question. We are experiencing less email security related events as a result of the spam awareness training.
Good training and testing tool
What do you like best about the product?
The training is quick and informational and seems to stick with our users. Users use the knowledge to report suspect emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes be a little repetitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Less security issues and breaches caused by phishing. Much less remediation needed for those issues. Keeps users alert and watching out for threats
KnowBe4 is VALUABLE
What do you like best about the product?
The training content is always relevant and changes each year to highlight the most common threats to Security Awareness. KnowBe4 is also competitively priced and easy to use for all of our team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had team members request more testing; unfortunately there are only 1 or 2 games versus videos to help with Security Awareness training. It is hard for our team to continuously watch videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Security Awareness training on KnowBe4 has greatly improved our team's knowledge on phishing and spotting phishing emails. We have gone from just above industry average to way below. It has also exposed many team members on common security threats to the organization that we haven't experienced or seen.
Great tool to improve security awareness posture
What do you like best about the product?
I find that KnowBe4 has a very complete library and a lot of different options for templates. They are easy to setup and maintain. With so many options it can often be a bit overwhelming, but so far the Customer Success Manager they provide has been a big help.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many features, but I don't like that every new feature or add on is a big expense added on to your subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been a big help to have the phish alert button. This has provided a quick and easy way for users to get more involved in reporting.
