Reliable and easy-to-use security training, but phishing customization could be improved
What do you like best about the product?
At my company, we use KnowBe4 to ensure our team stays informed about protecting sensitive information. The platform supports us in fostering a consistent security mindset throughout the organization, which is very important to us. I find the training modules straightforward, concise, and practical, making it easy for employees to complete them without losing interest.
What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect that could be improved is the customization of phishing simulations. I found that some of the templates are too easy for employees to recognize, which lessens the impact of the tests. If there were more flexibility and the ability to create more realistic, tailored phishing scenarios, the simulations would be much more effective and valuable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 has helped us address the challenge of ensuring our entire team stays aware of security risks and best practices. Prior to using this platform, it was difficult to guarantee that everyone understood how to protect sensitive information in their daily work. Now, we are able to provide consistent training that is brief and easy for employees to complete, while also conducting phishing simulations to test their awareness. This approach keeps security at the forefront for everyone and helps reduce the risk of human error, which remains one of the biggest vulnerabilities in any organization.

What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 Security Awareness training provides a simulated situation in which you may not be aware. The training module helps you to be more aware of these scenarios and what you need to do to protect your organization from cyber thieves.
What do you dislike about the product?
The trick emails from my managers is annoying and disruptive to my work flow. We are supposed to report these emails as cyber threats. If you do click on the email, you receive a 40 minute penalty homework assignment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 Security Awareness training provides realistic work scenarios that provides the background for potential undesirable cyber events.

What do you like best about the product?
it provides a massive variety of trainings to choose. It pretty much cover all the security awareness you need without looking for somewhere else.
What do you dislike about the product?
The best training courses are restricted to different level of subscription. In other words, you get what you pay for. The lowest subscription only gives enough training. It would be great if it provides a bit more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It delivers timely updates on cybersecurity threats and promotes awareness across the workplace. Users have consistently praised its relevance and practical value.
Great Training On A Variety Of Topics, Easy to Admin
What do you like best about the product?
There is a variety of training types on a variety of topics. Our users find the training helpful personally and professionally. It is easier to administer the system and choose training. Our customer success manager checks in with us to ensure that we are getting the most out of the system and are aware of new programs/functions that are added.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The training helps ensure that our team members are cognizant of the different ways bad actors can try to gain access to our systems and our clients' systems. The phishing campaigns validate the effectiveness of the training. The entire team frequently uses the Phish Alert Button to let us know when they have received an email they perceive as phishing. Security is top of mind for the team. We have several clients who ask specifically what we are doing about cybersecurity and we are able to confidently answer those questions because of KnowBe4.

The unlimited amount of information to better prepare our users about cyber threats not only with email
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't really think of anything to dislike but it is training and i dislike having to repeatedly remind my end users about the importance of this tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating more knowledgeable users in the workplace to make IT department lives less hectic when it comes to protecting our data.
Good Product and Great support
What do you like best about the product?
From my experience with KnowBe4, the best part is definitely the phishing simulations. They don't just tell you what a phishing email looks like—they actually send one to your inbox. When I clicked a suspicious link (in a controlled test, of course!), I immediately got a pop-up that explained the red flags I missed, which was a very effective learning experience. I also appreciate the sheer volume of content in their library; there's always a new, short training video or a fun game to keep things fresh. It's a system that truly feels like it's built to teach and not just to check a box for compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
some modules feeling repetitive or simplistic for employees who are already tech-savvy

It's easy to use. Anyone can set it up. The different programs are just the right length for my team. Customer support has been great helping to set up all of my programs.

Some of the basic phishing email templates are easy to spot as phishing emails

Making sure we have a solid cyber awareness program that is easy for people to participate in and easy to administer.
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is effective for levels of the organization and is easy manage
What do you like best about the product?
The trainings are usually short and concise and can be understood by our cleaning staff all the way to our department heads. Once our users are in the system it's easy to roll out the trainings and monitor the progress. We can also supplement with our own training content and manage the campaigns easily through the use of smart groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to see more updated trainings on the use of the phish alert button when Microsoft changes the location of the PAB in the desktop and web clients. Using the PAB is the #1 defense mechanism we have against attacks in our organization. Would like to see more short and professional training clips specifically on the PAB.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training employees to think before opening emails and clicking links and providing a way for them to report emails they are not sure about.
