Effortless Automation, but Lacks Multi-System Syncing
What do you like best about the product?
The system fully automates all aspects of training, phishing tests, and similar tasks. All I have to do is configure the schedules and set up the automations with my mail server, and Knowbe4 handles everything else.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside I have found is the inability to sync multiple systems using SCIM, or any sync tool. I support multiple M365 exchange environments that are not linked, so it isn't fully automated in that regard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves any problems I have related to security training of my users, as well as phishing tests to keep my users aware of any threats they may be receiving on a day-to-date basis.
Great Updated Content, but Training Assignment Process Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
New, relevant IT security trainings are constantly being uploaded to keep content fresh and up to date.
What do you dislike about the product?
The requirement of training campaigns makes it difficult and prohibitive to assign trainings to individuals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a government contractor it is critical that our employees have up-to-date knowledge of IT security. However, we are too small to develop our own trainings internally. Knowbe4 provides fresh, relevant trainings on an ongoing basis to ensure our employees are engaged with the training and have knowledge of cutting edge issues.
KnowBe4: Making Sure Your Team is READY
What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 is a great because not only can you train your team to spot phishing and other cyber related security issues, but you can see exactly where your teams strengths and weaknesses are. With training on every issue you might encounter, relevant information to share with your team, and detailed reports about training campaigns you can be sure your team will be ready! I also love that if I'm too busy to set up a new campaign, I can always reach out and they are always happy to help me set something up and keep the training rolling.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm sure my team would say that dislike how convincing their phishing training is and how easy it is for me to give out extra training when they fail- another plus for me!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 has an evolving catalog of quizzes, videos, and even games that train you and your team to spot potential cyber security risks and how to deal with them. With real world examples and immersive training, you can see exactly how your company will react to security breaches and constantly train them to do better and be safer.
Effective Phishing Simulations, Easy Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I find KnowBe4's phishing simulations to be extremely useful for our team. The setup process was straightforward and easy, which saved us time and effort. It's beneficial that the training meets our clients' requirements, as it allows us to fulfill these needs without having to handle everything manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see phishing filtering added to the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the product to fulfill client requirements for security awareness training and to automate this through software and videos, saving our team from doing it manually.
Engaging Training with Interactive Content and Comprehension Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the trainings are a mix of listening, reading, and questions. That makes people really pay attention and use comprehension skills to pass the quizzes and tests. The content is engaging as well. I found it easy to create trainings and I can modify to my company's specific needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish more modules were available in each subscription level but I understand there needs to be incentives to subscribe to the higher levels. We also had issues with the Phish Alert Report button not working in Outlook for users at various times, even when I followed the steps that KnowBe4 had in a banner on how to fix that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 is helping end users stop and think before clicking on links and opening attachments, even if they appear to come from a trusted source. We had a cyber attack scare a few years ago and I do not want to repeat that or have something worse happen where the scammers actually infiltrate.
Great Cybersecurity Resources, but Needs Better Microsoft Integration
What do you like best about the product?
The newsletters provide latest cyber security information, the internal sage spoof testing, the library of videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes hard to work with. Updates happen and Knowbe4 has not adapted well to Microsoft security updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Only in the beginning, getting to know a new software environment when I had 10 others to learn was hard for me but the coaching was there to get me through it all.
Great Topic Selection and Group Assignment, but Favorites Need Better Organization
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to select from a library of different topics and then assign a set of those to specific groups then set conditions if users need more training, they get put in a different group
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the videos I favorite were categorized a little better. When I go to select one, they are all in the dropdown and its a bit overwhelming trying to find the video I had just saved. It would be nice if they were a carousel of icons or sorted by date added
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us maintain compliance annually

Training the employees is helping the institution to stay safe and reduce the hacker intrussion.
Simple, Secure, and Effective Security Awareness Platform
What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 is very easy to set up and integrates smoothly with our existing environment. The platform uses domain authentication, which makes user management simple and secure. I also appreciate how seamless the onboarding process is—employees can start their training right away without complicated setup steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, it works great, but the interface could be more user-friendly, and some customization options take a little time to get used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training addresses the challenge of improving employee cybersecurity awareness and reducing the likelihood of phishing and social engineering incidents. The platform provides automated training and simulated phishing campaigns that help identify and correct risky user behaviors.
