KnowBe4 - Make Sure Your Employees Are Keeping Safe
What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 sends "questionable" emails to your employees to see if they are easily tricked into opening and clicking things they shouldn't. Some of the messages are so convincing, even I have been tricked by them!
What do you dislike about the product?
The worst thing about the KnowBe4 is the sender email addresses. Some of them are so obviously bad or obviously from KnowBe4, there's little chance someone would be fooled by them The content of the messages is great, but wasted with bad email addresses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The reason we are using KnowBe4 is to help find which employees are likely to open span and click links they shouldn't. It's interesting to know that some of our "smartest" employees have been fooled. We have caught several people several times opening emails they shouldn't be messing with. One guy is signed up for "deals" sites and gets tricked into thinking he will make money by following links. We have also deployed KnowBe4 at several customer sites and it has been a great benefit in helping them train their users how to stay safe online.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check it out. It's a bit pricey, but could more than pay for itself with what you could lose from someone opening a virus or worm on your network. Be aware that emails are all sent within a short period of time. Our employees figured this out within a few weeks and now they warn each other as soon as one person receives their weekly "spam" message.
Has been a great experience for our company. The setup was easy and the employees are amazing.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the tools but the customer service is the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I see is that too many of our users report their phishing emails. This gets tedious for me to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our employee education problem. Now all of our employees are trained and aware of cyber security and phishing.
Security Training - Done right!
What do you like best about the product?
The Knowbe4 system provides an environment to test, train, and educate that is concise and well integrated. The system provides the tools to manage the training and plenty of high quality content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial set-up was painless and quick, the only thing that I would like to see improvement on is the set up of active directory integration. It is not a big thing but if I had to change one thing it would be the creation of the integration config file. A couple of video tutorials might help to explain the process better. There was lots of on-boarding assistance and guidance so this is not a big issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The system is allowing me to test the habits of my users by using real world phishing templates that look far better than the ones I was crafting myself. The training materials have such a variety that all learning styles are supported. The production values of some of the materials rivals that of production studios like Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Best awareness training around
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of training and the automation of the product. They also keep the training very engaging and not mundane or boring. Great reinforcement modules and continuing education to keep your users up to date. Not just a once a year training test type deal. The rep that gets assigned to your account is your personal security assistant. They help setup your portal, answer any questions, and they recommend all the best practices. You can schedule a meeting with them anytime and they are always willing to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I have not found hardly anything that I dislike about this platform. The recently remodeled back-end makes it even easier to navigate through all the content. I guess the only thing I came across that was a little annoying was we could not upload a background image for the phishing tests, you had to "link" a picture to use. Not a big deal our graphics art guy created one and sent us a link, but was an extra step instead of just being able to upload an image like you can in other parts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security awareness. People are paying attention to what they are clicking or even better, not clicking. We are still in the early phases since roll out, but have already noticed a behavior change, with people asking or calling the help desk more about emails and such, so at the least they are becoming more aware.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The price and the number of modules you get is totally worth it. If you implement this program (and have your leadership team on board), you will be much safer than any anti-virus, firewall, or any other protection can offer you. The users are your biggest weakness.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of setting up and monitoring a wide variety of phishing and vishing campaigns and the scope and breadth of up to date training materials make KnowBe4 the absolute frontrunner in this market.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the metrics are a little fuzzy but the raw data and the ability to group risky individuals and focus specific training far outweigh any fuzziness.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The staff can get lax regarding the protection of their identities and of corporate assets. Ongoing campaigns for phishing and training keep the problem of cybersecurity in the forefront.

Run, don't walk to sign up for this amazing program. They work very hard at ensuring you succeed.
Knowbe4 will help you establish a phishprone benchmark and help reduce it, with tangible results.
What do you like best about the product?
I can visually see how phishprone my users are. I can then gear tailored security awareness training towards them and then see the improvements and reduced risk after the training. The users also like the training and mention it being fun and informative.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup of the environment in order for the phish tests to work. I had to switch off a lot of security controls for the phish test to work. We have anti spoofing setup. I had to include Knowbe4's IP range in order to allow it to pass through. If you have a firewall, you will also need to ask them for a list of their phishing domains in order to whitelist them for the links to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are increasing our user awareness of phishing attacks and reducing the number of clickers. We are in our 3rd month of the training, so it will still take time to bring the numbers down, although we've already seen a tangible improvement. We want to protect our organization from RATs (Remote Access Trojans) that will give attackers an in to our network. We also want to protect our company's users from being exploited and conned into giving away their or the company's personal data or finances.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is best to get buy in from management. And then to send out Comms regarding an upcoming Security Awareness Training and letting users know that it is important to complete and do the training as you are building your human firewall to stand against would be malicious hackers.

What do you like best about the product?
Support always prompt and congenial and they keep you apprised
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some technical issues where training time and completion was not accurate on the console but I think support make corrections. We shall see in the next training exercise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phishing attack awareness! Not is more relevant to our enterprise.
Exceeds Expectations/Fantastic Solution
What do you like best about the product?
The product works very well and even tricked some of my security folks, especially when it referenced HR was reaching out to them regarding their pay checks. Ease of use, progress reporting, updates and suggestions are very much appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some tricks were too easy for most of us, but I guess that is probably best. A more robust mobile platform would be helpful also. Finally please create new phishing emails a little faster. Users can recognize the ones they may have already seen or would told about from another employee.

Our employees are now situation-ally aware to recognize phishing emails We are trying to eliminate users from inviting ransomware in our enterprise.

I can't actually say that I dislike any part of this service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying the processes and humans that are vulnerable to phishing attacks. We are then able to modify training and or processes to resolve these issues.

It's a no brainer! KnowBe4 has the tools required to test and train your human assets and processes.

What do you like best about the product?
It really keeps you on your feet with not being phished at work.
What do you dislike about the product?
It forces you to follow up with training if you do fail a test.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has made myself and others in our office more aware towards identifying phishing attacks.

It's an effective tool towards teaching and preventing phishing attacks on the company. There's also integration to software like Outlook and consistent testing.
