What do you like best about the product?
Wide variety of general and specific tools for training our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users don't like recurring phishing tests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are seeking to provide comprehensive ongoing training in computer and web security. We also utilize their training to provide ongoing privacy training for our staff.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training provides lot of options and flexibility around choice and scheduling of training.
Analytics are very good.

Great product that has really assisted with our security training and testing

What do you like best about the product?
The training and user testing work seamlessly together. We have gone from over 30% click rate to mostly zero. In addition, you are provided with a dedicated account manager that helps you lay out a testing and training plan. The ability to set up training for an extended period of time using different topics is excellent. There is new content being added on a frequent basis and the different types of training appeal to a wide variety of personalities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. They continuously add improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First, we have increased awareness of phishing and other scams in our user base. We have not had a malware or ransomware issue since we started training. This has saved locking out and restoring workstations, which although wasn't frequent, it was a pain.
Another big benefit is our liability insurance audit. The auditor's have been very impressed with the program and how it adds to our digital security.

What do you like best about the product?
Our employees' infosec awareness is through the roof after two years of using KnowBe4.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could link directly to a training without having employee login and navigate to the training. Specifically for the TV show style video trainings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 is solving our phishing problem. We went from 17% phish prone down to 2% in 18 months.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The value you get with KnowBe4 is well worth the minimal cost.

What do you like best about the product?
They have a massive amount of resources. Automation of Phish tests is very easy. Great customer service and support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind. They have met all my expectations thus far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have successfully educated our end users and brought our Phish prone percentage has declined from over 30 % to less than the industry standard. Before we began training our staff we had 6 different instances of Ransomware from people clicking on things they shouldn't. Since then (KNOCK ON WOOD) we have not had one instance. Our average reporting rate on simulated Phishing test is over 60 percent.

Do your homework and get a product that fits your culture.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about this product is that it is easy to implement and has a vast amount of tools and knowledge to share with users.

What I do not like about this product is that I think the cost could be less.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using this software we have gotten our users more aware of the dangers that threaten them and the company as a whole.

Complete training for your employees

What do you like best about the product?
The best feature for us is the training aspect; There is a wide breadth of training that is available to all users of our organization. This includes remote workers, the C-Suite as well as more technical professionals.
What do you dislike about the product?
The subscription level is something to pay attention to. The higher levels come with additional training modules which makes sense, but if you want all the training you need to be in the proper level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security Awareness Training was a challenge to schedule and catch every employee. This tool allows the user to schedule this around their day and we can get it completed. The phishing email tests also allow for putting employees on their toes to watch for tests. We use the tests to award points which the employees use to complete with eachother.

What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 is very easy to use, with a guided, step-by-step process to get up and going. Once they show you the process, it is simple to create customized phishing tests for your users and then roll out appropriately targeting training courses.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have seen with the product is that fact that they have a tiered system for Training content. I would rather pay a flat fee with access to all materials and courses, rather than feeling that I still need to pay more for the "good-stuff".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our initial phishing test determined that we were on-par with our industry with about 14% of our users being "Phish Prone". After our first Training Campaign, we tested again and found that rate had dropped to 3%. And we continue to improve!

Top notch content and easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
Setting up training for my users is simple and easy. The different types of content provided allows me to try different methods to engage my users in training. Feedback from my users has been very positive and encouraging. Content is updated regularly and the production quality is outstanding. The ease of use allows me to create training in a few minutes and move on to other projects and priorities.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I have not seen any downside to using KB4.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are required to perform annual security training per our federal framework. KB4 allows us to set up that training in advance on a regular basis and track all of it in one easy to use location. This has allowed me to have more time to work on other projects and security initiatives. Having different kinds of content allows me to try different approaches to training which allows me to reach a broader audience with my users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want an easy to use platform with robust content that will improve your employee's security posture and knowledge, get a demo and get going with KB4 right away.

KnowBe4 has been a game changer for our organization

What do you like best about the product?
Where do I start, the phishing tests you can send out at your desired frequency, the phish alert button you can install for Outlook, the second chance tool that can be installed for Outlook to make users think twice about clicking a link in their email, the scam of the week emails, and the variety of training options and materials. Also being able to have users acknowledge the acceptable use policy within KnowBe4 was very cool, especially since we were able to set a time limit to make sure users actually take the time to read it. Everything has been great so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't say I've had any bad experiences thus far. The only recommendation I have made to them is when completing the Security Awareness Proficiency Assessment a lot of users wanted to know how they scored and what questions they missed but it only shows the admin the score for each user. Overall however there's been nothing we have found to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We feel our users have become much more aware of phishing emails and we have seen an improvement in the number of phishing test emails reported since we started till now. The fact that we have user automatically be enrolled in a training campaign if they fail a phishing test is very beneficial. We are in our first year of having KnowBe4 so this was our first time sending out security awareness training to our users as we do the training annually. We felt the training was far more extensive than our previous training provider. We sent out the Security Awareness Proficiency Assessment prior to users taking the training and are anxious to send it out again next year so we can see the improvements of KnowBe4's training.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would say if you're considering KnowBe4 whether switching to the, or just started looking for a security awareness vendor, go ahead and sign up now. I would recommend signing up for the diamond package to ensure you get all the benefits and features KnowBe4 has to offer. Upon signup you get assigned to a customer success manager who is very helpful with getting setup and can answer any questions you have going forward. Their support team is also very helpful and respond in a timely fashion. The amount of content KnowBe4 has to offer cannot be beat. The phishing templates they provide for you to send out to your users are awesome. The training content they offer is great. The phish alert button that can be installed for your mail client is so nice to have for our users. Everything is great!

Less Work, More Effective, Gets Employees Talking

What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 has a massive, and expanding portal full of learning material. It doesn't matter what industry you're in, or how your company does business, you should find plenty of videos, training, quizzes, and games that fit your company's needs. Whenever there's large changes, our account rep gives me a quick call to let us know how we could benefit from this new feature or content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The modstore doesn't allow you to upload your own content. It would be highly useful for adding training for other common tasks users repeatedly request that currently create a workload for your IT team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email phishing has been a huge problem in our industry, with a smaller focus on effectively protecting company assets / locking workstations. KnowBe4 has been able to show us (with executive-friendly graphs!) how the training has been helping every single employee. In the beginning, we had a significant uptick in employees double checking with IT about sketchy emails. After the Phish Alert Button was pushed out, that workload went away entirely. We also see employees chatting amongst themselves and with IT about current phishing attacks. The knowledge and awareness increase has been astounding, for just minutes of work every month.
