KnowBe4 continues to impress on all fronts
What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 offers comprehensive products that are easy to use and they also have some of THE BEST customer support. Over the years, I have had a few different account representatives and each one has been great. They produce useful and advancing products in the ever-expanding cyber climate. The campaigns are easy to build and deploy, the UI is easy to navigate and flows very well. We also implemented the PhishER console and found that this is also a great product to assist with the overall security of our organization. KnowBe4 continues to develop additional products that set them apart in the cyber security industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only dislike, and we're digging in the bottom of the barrel here - the PhishRIP feature within PhishER requires several filter points in order to RIP successfully. There are a few instances where there are not enough similarities between the same chunk of phishing emails for this portion to work all the time, BUT it does work when there are enough similarities. It's really a stretch to say that I dislike any of the KnowBe4 products that I have utilized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My organization has greatly increased their awareness with phishing emails and was able to lower the over-all phish-prone percentage. Since implementing KnowBe4, we've been able to increase cyber security awareness for our employees and with that knowledge, better protect our organization as a whole. We're also able to utilize trainings in the modstore for use in our learning platform which is very helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Reach out to KnowBe4 and have them demo their products - you won't be disappointed. The products are easy to use and the staff are wonderful. They offer not only simulated campaigns to raise awareness, but they have newsletters you can set to automatically go out to your users.
Improved Security Awareness
What do you like best about the product?
Having used the KnowBe4 system for 5 years, I am impressed by the quality of the training modules available in the system and the sophistication of the simulated phishing emails available. It keeps our users on their toes and helps keep our organization safe against cyber security threats.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's is nothing I dislike about the KnowBe4 system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Although there is no way to guarantee that our organization will not fall victim to a cyber attack, KnowBe4 has dramatically improved the overall awareness of how everyone is vulnerable to cyber security attacks. KnowBe4 reinforces best practices for identifying phishing emails.

What do you dislike about the product?
There was no down side to this training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits are that I am much better equipped to spot hacking.

This is excellent training and really is the current information needed to protect your company.
Our school has gone from a 38% click rate on phishing emails to roughly an 8%.
What do you like best about the product?
Various training modules and unlimited phishing vulnerability tests. The cost is also appropriate for the services.

It would be helpful to archive certain store items.

Employee training and education on cyber security awareness in general.

KnowBe4 has been the single best decision we've made with regard to cyber security awareness training.
Great Security Awareness Training Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Setup is easy and the service is great. Very affordable.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far there have been no downsides to using the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Educating users to the threats that exist and allowing them to become part of the solution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are several levels of subscriptions. If you choose any level other than the highest level, the number of training modules are limited. We chose the middle level as a start. It's great for what we needed. Will probably need to upgrade at some point.
Excellent Cybersecurity Awareness Training and Phishing Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Variety of training modules that continue to be updated; humor; quizzes, etc. Tremendous support for phishing campaigns and reporting
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much if anything at all, they continue to enhance their platform and be very responsive to support related inquiries
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
educating employees on malware, mobile device security, passwords, phishing (what to look out for), PII, basically everything under the sun with respect to cyber security
Amazing support on a great product
What do you like best about the product?
I am a small business without a lot of time to spend learning a new system and the customer success representative along with clear and straight forward documentation made it very easy to get my organization configured in just a couple of hours. I find the content in the training modules to be comprehensive and I like that it is available in a variety of tones. You can find serious material that you could use for remediation training and then funny content to keep your audience willing to sit through the training. You can tie the phishing results directly to a remediation campaign streamlining the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have only been using the training for a month and have not spent a lot of time looking through all the learning modules but finding the ones that best correspond to our company's culture while meeting the learning objectives can be time consuming. The customer success rep did make some suggestions and would probably be happy to go over all of them with me if I asked. I have some specific content that I am required to train on based on certain regulatory guidelines and I have not found how to add my own content but I have not spent much time looking either and have not contacted my customer success rep yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was doing training in person but as we went remote and schedules got more difficult to coordinate I found it hard to get sufficient training in. KnowBe4 gives me the ability to schedule training and let our employees complete it when it best fits their schedule. KnowBe4 also creates the artifacts that I need to demonstrate compliance for audits. I was also using a freeware phishing tool that took some effort to support and my team had to create the phishing content. KnowBe4 comes with a complete collection of phishing content organized from basic to sophisticated so you can challenge your most targeted users to ensure they don't get tricked.

What do you like best about the product?
The extensive library of training modules, simulated phishing tests, monthly reports and easy to use interface. The training modules are regularly updated to be relevant to the changing cyber threat landscape.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. A lot of my co-workers are not fond of completing the training modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My organization staff are more aware of the dangers of phishing emails. They training helps them to spot suspicious emails and refrain from clicking on links that are not relevant to their work. If in doubt, they will check with IT Dept on the legitimacy of the email. As a result the organization phishing has been on a downtrend since we started the training and simulated phishing tests.
Surprising Option for Compliance Training with LMS
What do you like best about the product?
Knowbe4 is an all-inclusive LMS that provides baseline testing for phishing, IT training, Compliance training, and a learning management system at an affordable price. We are able to add additional compliance pieces of training such as sexual harassment from the MOD store. This is invaluable as it is less training that must be built which saves time and money. In addition, there are 100 slots available for us to add our own training specific to our business. As a collections law firm, we must train on confidentiality, the fair debt collections practice act, and much more. We currently use iSpring to develop training in SCORM format which is easily added to Knowbe4's platform so we can initiate and track these trainings as well. We are looking forward to implementing training that is effective to aid in the remote learning process as a result of COVID-19. The account manager has been very helpful in designing a training program that will be effective for our business. There was an instance in the beginning that our account manager was out of the office and his backup was quick to get our issue handled so we did not miss our implementation goal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Knowbe4 is has a specific account manager, but it took time to get connected after we paid the initial contract fee. It took some time to figure out how to connect with Active Directory and the videos don't cover all the little hiccups we have encountered. Support has been great but it has taken over 2 weeks to get over the hurdles just to get the baseline test out. The biggest dislike is having to send an email to reach support or the account manager. It would be easier to call and hold, but that does not appear to be an option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have client requirements that we can demonstrate training and testing for security awareness. We also have employees that are click-happy and it provides clear data on who are our high-risk individuals. In addition, these high-risk employees are easily siloed for frequent testing and training. Problem users must earn their way out of the "frequent-clicker" program. We have also learned that many employees are not going to IT with issues which slows reaction time down with a potential problem or breach. This allows us to focus on procedures to decrease vulnerabilities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
LMS systems are very expensive. Knowbe4 is very affordable. We make it a goal to have a strong partnership between IT and HR. We have a focus on training and understanding how we can support operations. IT is supporting the business in the same fashion but from the information and technology side. Knowbe4 allows us to collaborate effectively. Both IT and HR are cost centers and not profit centers. Knowbe4 allows us to be budget conscious with an excellent, fresh, platform. It is easy to use for administrators and users. If you want your IT security training, compliance training, and operations processes to come together, Knowbe4 should be your LMS of choice.
