1password is a must have for any company serious about security
What do you like best about the product?
As a long term customer since the beta, 1password has been easy to use and has dramatically improved our security posture. Novice users have picked up very quickly how to use and over a short time it just becomes second nature to use. 1password has changed the culture how people manage and share passwords and is an invaluable tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sharing of individual passwords is not as easy as sharing vaults, but thats being picky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since it's easy for users to store and retrieve their password we have minimal people forgetting passwords. Since people dont have to remember their passwords, only one, hence the name, they are setting very long and complex password with high strength and also not using password schemes to remember passwords as now they don't have to.
1 PW taking security to next level with lot of unique features
What do you like best about the product?
For me it's the random password populate for any of the tool, where i don't have to remember any more passwords by heart, 1 PW do it for me and gives me a unique very strong PW taking all security parameters in line. It's really good to see that 1PW is putting lot of efforts on the information security and helping their clients in achieving the same ! Kudos !
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, honestly there is nothing i dislike about 1 PW, however have two suggestions, one to include SSO with G suite and secondly to have individual notifications set up for individual admins so we can switch it off if any one demands it, currently it is on group level !
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Passwords sharing has been resolved as it is totally encrypted, Passwords remembrance and Unique passwords populate
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a very valuable tool in todays cyber world, everyone should consider it!
Senior IT Manager
What do you like best about the product?
1Password is super intuitive for both administrators as well as end users. We can have granular group permissions on a vault, which is awesome. The apps are super slick and moving items between vaults or even accounts has always been a very slick experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without the SCIM bridge, provisioning users is kind of a pain. Even so, with it you can't do a native SCIM connection, you need to set up a tool in AWS or Azure to perform that sync, which is extra infrastructure to manage and maintain. Would be nice if that had more native integrations so the barrier to implement was much lower.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Users are no longer storing passwords in spreadsheets or worse, on post-its. It has allowed for much more secure collaboration and sharing of passwords.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're a fast-growing company, the SCIM bridge is a must, so make sure that you have the competences in house to support that. Otherwise, I see 1Password as a great choice for growing companies. I will admit I've only use it in Mac environments since it's born and bred there, so I can't speak to the efficacy in a Windows environment (I know there's a Windows client).
User since day 1. Very happy.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity it offers. Even our non-techy colleagues use it now and rarely run into issues where they can't figure out how it works. That's not an easy thing to do, so kudo's for the team. The lighthouse feature is also great, informing us of security breaches and reused passwords. This probably saved us a bunch of times already.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transition to the subscription service could've been smoother, it was hard to download the old versions initially when you weren't yet on the subscription version. It's all good now. I hope the integration in the new version iOS improves with the new features Apple offers for smoother integration. What else could be improved is the way in which you can share files securely with colleagues. It works great for the web version but it's hard to "link to" a file in a vault when talking about it with a colleague.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for our team to share accounts for services that don't allow us to have individual accounts. We also encourage all our employees to use their personal vault for their personal accounts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it at your office, it will make your passwords more secure. Also encourage all your users to use individual accounts instead of relying on shared accounts. We made 1 person responsible for keeping an eye on employee turnover and changing key accounts when we do have some turnover. This works great for our team size.
1Password is an essential part of corporate and personal security
What do you like best about the product?

Easy to add new users with signup links.
Easy to revoke access.
Easy to encourage personal use employees can take with them to boost our overall security

What do you dislike about the product?
We still have some challenges training people who have never used a password manager before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to encourage our employees to have unique passwords everywhere so that breaches in large, common targets are less likely to directly impact our security. We also need to share and revoke credentials in a centrally managed place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend 1Password in any organization, especially one that primarily uses Macs.
Password manager with excellent audits.
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is intuitive and simple very, even for non technical users. I believe the primary advantage is the capability to produce secure, unique and random passwords, which will then be properly stored and shared with staff members. Watchtower detects re-used or weak passwords. It automatically saves the story of passwords and who transformed them, therefore it's so easy to discover out when it happened as well as correct errors. 1Password is actually an effective tool to help you protect the password of yours.
What do you dislike about the product?
It will be great to have the ability to establish customized logout times for web applications, to ensure that web applications on a reliable computer can't shut down as fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've a group that can easily manage thousands of passwords for our systems. 1Password makes it simple, therefore folks do not have to keep the passwords of theirs in text documents on the desktop computer of theirs! The Watchtower characteristic guarantees that staff members do not post passwords unnecessarily or perhaps choose inadequate passwords, that helps protect the business of yours!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the Watchtower feature to uncover passwords which have been broken or perhaps aren't strong sufficiently.
Easy Password management.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use no need for remembering more than one password
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to think. Maybe there is a bit chunky to install it for every device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not remembering password and security
Keep your passwords in encrypted vault on your iOS device.
What do you like best about the product?
The capacity to develop, store as well as examine all passwords in a single program is excellent. You don't need to recall a huge number of passwords. Encryption works much better. It is excellent to be in force to purchase programs, therefore you just need to buy them once, not each and every month. With IOS, Touch ID can make the job of yours much easier as you do not need to enter passwords each time. If you launch 1Password for OS X, it immediately generates your Face ID and asks in case you would like to maintain it. You are able to quickly sync it with your things through iCloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I used 1Password, I did not encounter some substantial difficulties both in use as well as in protection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because I drive 1Password, I are able to use passwords which were in the past hard to recall and I've a diverse password for every one of the accounts of mine.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When you are looking for a credentials management software, you've to do this system!
Essential to our company
What do you like best about the product?
Safe, secure, and solid permission groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, we have been using it since before they had teams announced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing sensitive client logins with a globally distributed team was an issue for us, we have been using 1Password which has alleviated that problem.
Strong passwords
What do you like best about the product?
Before 1Password, the primary thing that worried me was the password issue. There was a great deal of them and they had been all over, and at times the browser remembered them but usually not. There were, and occasionally I wasn't able to find them. And they weren't really safe, because as soon as I got the 1Password of mine. All of the security and passwords had been taken care of. Everything was properly stored in a place in which you can get to from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile phone password for 1Password is actually the password for the desktop computer. It was not the same. Ultimately, a remedy had to be found.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password was a means for outside customers and business staff that needed access to simplyfy and protect the references of theirs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have previously lost or even broken the password of yours. In case you get anxious when you get into a site, 1Password is the solution!
