The best password manager for over 10 years
What do you like best about the product?
1password is a thoughtfully designed and well executed password manager that Just Works. I regularly recommend 1password to coworkers and friends, some of whom comment about how all password managers are the same. Once they use it those folks have become strong converts to using 1password and how smoothly it integrates with daily work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The emphasis on cloud storage over local. I wish 1password would make that more straight forward instead of allowing in the only dark pattern I've seen from them, hiding/obfuscating the ability to have a local file system vault shared between systems using dropbox/icloud/whatever. I also wish they would have more consistent design for the "edit" buttons on entries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We share our credentials through work and encourage good password practices with families by purposefully paying for a family plan for each employee.
Convenient and secure
What do you like best about the product?
Cyber security is a growing concern, using 1Password gives me secure peace of mind that I can quickly & safely create and store my uncrackable passwords in one place! Eliminates the 'forgot password' hell I used to do all the time! Love 1Password!
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish it was easier to create a new password using the 1password app for macs, I typically go into the chrome plugin to do this because I'm not sure how on the mac app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password security but ease of retrieval.

Sharing secret configuration (env variables) between team members was hard. Some of us used to share them through messenger which was not the best practice. Now we don't have to worry about it anymore because it's all in 1Password

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the app tells me that a site is compromised. I feel like I’m safer online with 1Password. I also love the ease of creating logins with secure passwords along with adding 2FA right into the same place and have it instantly across all my devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the 1Password X extension in the browser allowed for biometric authentication.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a team we are solving the “what’s the password to this system?” With 1Password. Everyone knows that the credentials are in the vault.
Can't Live Without It!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is cross platform, works well in a team environment, and manages our one-time passcodes for quick authentication into any site that offers 2FA. When you add on top of that the Watchtower feature which identifies which passwords may have been involved in a data breach, 1Password is hard to beat! I truly feel it is the best product on the market that gives end users a fighting chance at securely managing and monitoring all of their passwords!

The two different browser extensions have caused a bit of confusion for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password in a team environment has been incredible! It has solved many issues we previously had with staff having instant secure access from anywhere to shared team accounts. As team members come and go we no longer worry about passwords! Every item new staff members need is in 1Password and no longer do we hear, "does anyone know the password to this system?" 1Password has greatly enhanced our organizations security posture by allowing users to quickly and easily generate unique passwords for every site and the one-time passcode feature makes it very easy to manage accounts that support 2FA as well!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Stop looking for a password manager and buy 1Password! If you are on the fence checkout the Watchtower features which integrates with https://haveibeenpwned.com!

What do you like best about the product?
It has been easy to navigate and integrate new staff with very little to no training, I love the ability to easily update passwords. I also love the fact that this tool can be used internationally. We have staff members who live all over the world and they use this tool with ease. I love the look of the platform too. Many apps use to many colors and flashy graphic, but one password has a sleek look. It can be open on my browser and still look professional .
What do you dislike about the product?
The browser extension and app don't always match up, this can make updating passwords using the browser difficult. It is quit difficult to log in sometimes. I also dislike that there are a lack of demos. There are things in this survey that i didn't know one password could do. I would have a predicated all of these feature to be explained before i purchased the product and more training while i have the product.

Having secure unique passwords and sharing them across teams. It also solved the issue of sharing passwords with staff members who live in different parts of the world.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend this if your organization has the same password for everything. This tool will not only give you good passwords but it will also allow you to share them easily. i suggest that you use it for everything, do not leave passwords out. Also implement this tool from the top down. Older staff will take longer to adopt this tool. I think this is a tool that every small business should use.
Good product overall
What do you like best about the product?
Easy spot for all passwords to be saved, can share passwords with team members, good support and account management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of verification needed when team members loose their 1 password master password - which can be difficult / annoying for us as there is only a couple admins

Password compliance for software company - i.e. Hippa / Pippeda / Soc 2
1Password is the one app you cannot live without!
What do you like best about the product?
This is by far the best and most feature-rich password manager out there for both personal and business use! I love that our team is able to quickly and easily share important passwords and ensure they're kept secure and updated.
It's also important to note that 1Password is way more than just a password manager. I store everything in my private vaults - from credit cards to membership numbers to birth certificates and the list goes on. Anything I need securely stored and available at a moment's notice is always in my pocket.
To top it all off, I particularly love the Families plan as I'm able to create shared vaults for specific areas of our lives and easily control which items I share with which family members.
It's also important to note that 1Password is way more than just a password manager. I store everything in my private vaults - from credit cards to membership numbers to birth certificates and the list goes on. Anything I need securely stored and available at a moment's notice is always in my pocket.
To top it all off, I particularly love the Families plan as I'm able to create shared vaults for specific areas of our lives and easily control which items I share with which family members.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inline popups that were added to Safari recently were a bit clunky and not my cup of tea, but I found a way to disable them in the Preferences so I'm a happy camper again :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we are solving as a team is the disorganized mess or documents we used to keep to share account information with the team. Now everything is stored in one central and secure place.
My favorite benefit is that it can be used for so much more than just websites and associated passwords, which has proved to be super useful both professionally and personally. I additionally love the flexibility the custom fields give me. The possibilities are truly endless!

The best password app on the market!
What do you like best about the product?
They make it SO easy to manage dozens upon dozens of passwords between multiple devices. Their feature set is robust and includes organizing password sets into vaults that have separate permission rules; password generation with various options (password type, required characters, and length); easy search; 2FA; and supports all device types and OSs for my needs. I can even log into my account by fingerprint scan!
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't any downsides to the app that I can think of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves issues I've had in the past with managing my passwords across multiple devices. New passwords are easy to generate new and secure -- it's been very useful to set up my default password type so it's quick and easy to meet the standard password requirements when creating new accounts (minimum length, special characters, etc). It's also really useful in a business environment where some account details and passwords are shared with colleagues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I wouldn't hesitate to purchase 1Password. The experience has been very positive and I haven't needed to reach out to their support team. Between their clean UI and documentation it's really simple to get up and running -- everything is intuitive!
