Intuitive and Secure, but Room for Enhancement
What do you like best about the product?
1Password stands out for its user-friendly design and frequent usability, providing a clean and intuitive interface that makes managing passwords across devices simple and secure. Setting up the platform is uncomplicated for both individuals and teams, with a quick installation process and seamless integration with browsers and operating systems. Its robust feature set, which includes strong password generation, secure vaults, secrets sharing, and multi-factor authentication support, is particularly well-suited for environments where security is a priority. The platform operates reliably and encourages good security practices without introducing unnecessary complexity.
What do you dislike about the product?
For larger organizations, the advanced enterprise controls, comprehensive audit reporting, and granular role-based access customization are somewhat lacking when compared to more robust identity management tools designed for enterprises. While customer support is typically reliable, response times can fluctuate, especially for those not on enterprise plans. Additionally, the pricing might seem steep for individual users, particularly in comparison to built-in password managers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1Password addresses the challenges of insecure, reused, and difficult-to-manage passwords by centralizing credential storage within encrypted vaults. It streamlines the process of generating strong passwords and allows for secure sharing without revealing sensitive information. As a result, it helps lower security risks, supports adherence to best practices, and saves time by eliminating the need to remember or manually handle credentials.
Strong Security Without Sacrificing Usability
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how 1Password combines strong security with ease of use. I’m not great at remembering passwords, so having a secure, centralized place to store and manage them is incredibly helpful. At the same time, it gives me confidence knowing that sensitive information, including customer credentials, is protected by robust security standards. It simplifies my day to day workflow while maintaining a high level of trust and protection
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the autofill feature doesn’t activate automatically, which requires me to manually select the correct password or sign in again. This can slow things down slightly, especially when moving quickly between tools or accounts. That said, it’s a relatively minor issue, and overall the experience is still very positive. The browser application in particular is easy to use, intuitive, and makes managing passwords much more efficient day to day.

For me, 1Password solves the challenge of securely managing sensitive logins, especially customer credentials tied to our platform. Knowing that customer logins are stored and shared in a secure way gives me real peace of mind and allows me to do my job confidently without worrying about security risks. It also saves time and reduces friction in my day to day work, since I don’t have to remember or manually manage passwords while still following strong security best practices.

What do you like best about the product?
I use 1Password every day to securely store and manage work credentials, including application logins, internal tools, shared team accounts, and sensitive notes. It’s part of my daily routine I unlock it first thing in the morning and rely on it throughout the day when accessing different systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t much I dislike, but the initial setup took a little time to understand, especially around organizing vaults properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What I like most about 1Password is how effortlessly it fits into my workflow. The browser extension works reliably, so logging into tools is fast without needing to remember or reset passwords. I also appreciate how easy it is to generate strong passwords automatically, I no longer reuse passwords or store them insecurely.
The vault-sharing feature has been especially useful. Instead of sending credentials over chat or email, I can securely share access with teammates and revoke it when needed. This alone has significantly improved how we handle security as a team.

Outdated Documentation Makes Setup Frustrating
What do you like best about the product?
No sure. So hard to use. But I guess importing pwd is easy
What do you dislike about the product?
Your documentation and directions on the web page are so out of date and circular references. You say go to one thing and that says to go do the first thing you were doing and it is impossible to use the barcode or find a secret code to login to my phone on version 8. I have to try to use this for work, or I would have given up a long time ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just getting logged in on more than one system. I always end up in a circular reference in your on screen prompts and instructions.

I really love 1Password, even after trying several other competitors! My family was an early adopter and the features are great, as well as the ease of use. I don't have a downside that immediately comes to mind!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was notorious for using the same, easy-to-remember (read: weak) password across multiple accounts. My data was NOT secure! But 1 Password gives me the confidence to use strong, unique passwords for all the new sign ins I constantly have to create, giving me peace of mind that my data is being handled securely.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the ease of being secure without needing to memorize thousands of passwords, thanks to 1Password. It allows me to store passwords securely for all my applications, making it so I only need to remember a single master password. I also love that it offers two-factor authentication, further increasing security. The auto-fill feature is something I value greatly, as it makes using passwords on different platforms practical and quick. The initial setup of 1Password was simple and problem-free, which made its adoption easy from the start.
What do you dislike about the product?
The standard is for passwords to be saved by the domain, and it does not consider subdomains, which sometimes causes passwords from different systems to be saved in the same place (but this can be resolved by checking "save only for this specific domain", however, this is an extra step that could be standard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use 1Password to store secure and unique passwords, ensuring security across all applications, while I only need to remember one master password.
