Using since 2018 in production
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to get started, almost no effort to start
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't have total control over the machines
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a proper deploy pipeline that has many stages, all detailed in .yml files
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Is the best cost bennefict
Effective tech, lacks transparency
What do you like best about the product?
Nice web interface, good integration with GitHub, is mostly batteries included.
What do you dislike about the product?
Changes to their API are often compatibility breaking, little transparency on performance considerations, slow to respond to feedback and fix known issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Continuous integration workflows for many projects with time-saving configuration re-use. Good self-service with web interface.
Wonderful tool for linter and more
What do you like best about the product?
It runs so seamlessly that I’m impressed with the overall process. It’s great to see it all come together so easy and quickly. Plus it just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing to watch out for is the documentation, it needs more detail
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building and Linters
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It’s the gold standard, if you need something that just works - this is it.
Great CI for Bitbucket
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it is stress free and it comes with a default YAML configuration that you can plug in and use. It gives room for scaling as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Speed of spunning up containers and running time is quite slow and makes work less productive when a ton of people are building.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving for faster deployment and accuracy when it comes to product delivery
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Increase build time for containers
Super Powerful Tool for Continuous Delivery
What do you like best about the product?
We can build all our software and test it, everything from services written in Scala and Go to apps for iOS and Android! It's configured using a yaml file so developers can add or modify the build process without administrative access to CircleCI which is huge.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be a little confusing at first so it takes some getting used to but once you've used it for a few projects it makes sense. It would be nice if it was easier to search for a project by its name. We have almost 500 GitHub repositories!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We build and package all of our services with it and ship the resulting Docker images to a repository. We set up the repository so that only the CircleCI process can push in new images so we can verify that all the images are of code that passed tests and was reviewed during the pull request process.
Great product
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to config and make changes to the configuration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being able to download error logs would be awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do automated testing and deployment. It makes keeping our site up to date easy.
Great Experience So Far
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to integrate, intuitive user interface
What do you dislike about the product?
No major issues, would be nice to be able to filter the jobs based on status, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Made it easy to implement testing into our pipeline
Great service with a lot of flexibility; parallelization is great
What do you like best about the product?
The parallelization is great. You configure your yml file with a lot of prebuilt docker images and specify how many containers it can use. Very intuitive.
Also newly added support for Windows VMs is a very welcome and long needed addition. Now all major platforms (Linux, Mac, Windows) are supported.
Also newly added support for Windows VMs is a very welcome and long needed addition. Now all major platforms (Linux, Mac, Windows) are supported.
What do you dislike about the product?
The performance plan where you can run unlimited builds is quite pricey, they count both your active users and the amount of resources you use, so it feels a bit like you're billed twice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Faster test execution (parallelization) -> more team productivity
- Build automation
- In the future we might use it for CD as well

CI/CD simplified
What do you like best about the product?
Everything runs off Docker which is super simple to implement and adjust.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes having a bit more input from the devs would be good, especially about different versions of a particular software. I have put a question up in the forum which didn't get a reply when they were migrating v1 to v2.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CI/CD is done a lot easier and faster. This cuts down time on our deployment process.
Resolve my CI/CD problem with CircleCI
What do you like best about the product?
Earlier I was using Jenkins to deploy and test my applications but it was a painful process then I switched to CircleCI and everything became a piece of cake, thanks to CircleCI for that.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I feel like Kubernetes integration can give more power to CircleCI like GitLab CI has it already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
E2E testing in the containers made possible with single config file.
