What do you like best about the product?
I really like how fast and reliable Grammarly is, especially the real-time grammar and clarity suggestions. They help me write more clearly without interrupting my workflow, and the setup was very easy. Grammarly has helped me reduce grammar and spelling errors while improving the overall clarity of my writing. It saves my time by catching mistakes instantly and helps me communicate more confidently and professionally. It's fast, very easy to use, and helps me communicate more clearly with very little effort. I'm particularly fond of Grammarly's real-time grammar suggestions because they can catch mistakes instantly and help me write accurately without any flaws. I often use it with Google Docs and Microsoft Word, and it integrates smoothly with them, making it easy to edit and refine my writing across different platforms and websites.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Grammarly's suggestions don't fully match my intended writing style, especially for school. The free version that I use is quite limited, which makes it hard to access more advanced features. The advanced features could be improved by making suggestions more sensitive to context and academic writing styles, so they don't change the original meaning. Expanding access to some premium tools for free version would also help user's experience of Grammarly.

I particularly like the extension feature as it allows me to use Grammarly with Word, Gmail, and Outlook, helping me catch grammatical errors easily. Grammarly butchers context because it is trained on general English, not domain-specific intent, so it treats professional shorthand as ‘bad writing.’ In finance, ops, legal, and consulting, language is deliberately compressed, technical, and risk-aware. Grammarly tries to expand, soften, or ‘clarify’ them, which slows communication, weakens executive impact, and in legal cases can even alter liability. It judges sentences only on grammatical cleanliness, ignoring why they are written that way, who the audience is, and what risks are attached.
