I like its clear realtime suggestions and real-time feedback, which works especially well for me, along with the tone suggestions. The initial setup was very easy, as I only had to install an extension in the browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved about Grammarly is that some advanced features like plagiarism checks and deeper style suggestions are limited to the paid version. The limitation of advanced features in Grammarly impacts my usage because important tools like plagiarism detection, full-sentence rewrites, and in-depth style insights are locked behind the premium plan, which may not be affordable or necessary for all users.

The tool can also misinterpret context, occasionally flagging industry-specific terms, names, or Indian English usage as errors. When it comes to technical content like code comments, formulas, legal language, or specialized writing, its suggestions can be off-base or even misleading. There are also privacy concerns for some users, since Grammarly analyzes everything you type, making it less appealing for confidential or sensitive documents. Finally, if you rely too heavily on its suggestions without thinking critically, it can hinder your own grammar learning and improvement.

Since I don't have much vocabulary, Grammarly takes care of that. I also appreciate how it changes personal messages to sound better and more poetic by using powerful words, which makes the message more effective. The auto-correction feature is something I like the most. Additionally, the rephrasing tool is my savior – it saves a lot of time and effort when I'm too lazy to focus on punctuation and grammar, turning my broken English into clear sentences. When responding to US customers, the rephrasing tool helps me sound more professional and native by using the right vocabulary, compensating for my mother tongue's influence on my English. It's also faster than Google Gemini.

The subscription fee is a little high. It should be more affordable. In my opinion, $30 per month is very high. It should be $30 per year.
