What do you like best about the product?
Effective technical screening, Diverse Skill assessment, Objective analysis of candidates, tailored assessment techniques, Feasibility to practice before the interview, Online assessment, Excellent customer support

We are able to successfully evaluate candidates for our graduate programs using Code Signal
Pretty good but do not understand points taken off

The exam and interface were easy to use and understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest issue, I think, was the inability to understand your scoring. I felt my solution worked well, passed all the tests, and covered corner cases. My orginal score was cut in half once reviewed and I'm still unsure why. I checked stack overflow, leet code, and other sources for similar questions and have yet to find my solution not similar or more efficient than other highly rated solutions. This made the experience frustrating to say the least. I understand not being able to show questions and answers but the fact my solution's score was cut in half with no explanation as to why, I don't believe, is best practice.

What do you like best about the product?
The problems are interesting to read and stated unambiguously, and the user interface is highly user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Skipping a problem isn't an option, which can be motivating as a challenge but frustrating when you can't solve it even after multiple attempts.

It's a platform that keeps users engaged in coding problem-solving. It has increased my interest and encouraged me to invest more time in coding.

Simple yet effective interface. Also sample syntax is provided which helps a lot

Not many questions available to solve. Can introduce membership plans like leetcode or hackerrank

Testing my technical skills also ot gives me a simple yet effective way to complete the technical test at ease and at my own time.

What do you dislike about the product?
It took a little longer than expected once when i had issue for my technical assessment and I had mailed to support (though they replied in 30 min, during test - 30 min is very much)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Auto Suggestion of provoded methods is one of the best things on CodeSignal. Remembering every method is tough so suggesting them helps a lot in assessment.

Good interface and debugging tools, with innovative questions.

Cumbersome for complex tests and needs updating profile to make reports public.

It provides a general coding framework that can be shared across many companies and avoids managing custom questions and coding tests for every company.
Great, in-depth report and assessment
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how it provided me with a complete report of how I score in each of the categories and even the time spent on each question.
What do you dislike about the product?
The verification time was too long, I don't know if the screen recording is manually reviewed or not, if manually done then massive respect, else the time could be cut down a bit.

Solves the problem of a geniune online assessment which is comparatively difficult to fool from what the competitors have to offer.

I hope we can have more algorithm Questions in the database of Codesignal. You can also have some SQL Questions or other tech stacks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It can reduce the time and effort required for manual evaluation. And for a candidate, like me. I don't need to take the exam many times, because I can share my report to many different companies. It will save me a lot of time. This helps organizations make data-driven hiring decisions.
