Fantastic, a tool that is always growing and is easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the patching part, ease of use and the genius idea of remote scripts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The risk scoring system is confusing. I prefer CVE-based risk.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vicarius is helping with patch management, particularly app updates.
Incredible capability with a beautiful user experience
What do you like best about the product?
vRx can discover, prioritise and remediate vulnerabilities, all within the same platform. This breadth of capability far exceeds competitors that I've come across.
Vuln Discovery: vRx supports 3500+ third party apps, plus all the major operating systems. This is far in excess of other products.
Vuln Prioritisation: vRx uses the context of each business' unique environment to determine which vulnerabilities are truly the most important, and doesn't just rely on the CVSS score.
Vuln Remediation: vRx can automatically patch the vulns it discovers. Admins can create their own rules to automate the process (e.g.: automatically remediate 'critical' and 'high' vulns for the Microsoft Office suite). This same feature can be used to deploy scripts on endpoints (e.g.: take a backup before patching). Lastly, vRx has the ability to patch vulnerabilities before the software vendor has released an official patch.
The user experience is fantastic. It's easy to understand, quick to get started, and the interface is rapid.
vRx is very easy to deploy across the environment with wide support across Windows, MacOS and Linux.
For Australian clients, vRx is a fantastic tool for reaching into Essential 8 ML3 for Patch Applications and Patch Operating Systems.
Pricing is very competitive, especially given the power of the platform - it can often replace two or more tools.

What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting could be stronger, particularly when 'selling' the on-going benefits of the product into senior leadership teams. vRx will do a heap of work, but at the same time lots of vulns are released every day, so it's important to showcase that vulns are actually being addressed in large numbers, despite the overal total only reducing slowly over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Cyber/IT teams often use and pay for multiple tools to manage the vulnerability management process. vRx is a single pane of glass that teams can use to manage the entire vulnerability lifecycle.
2. Businesses incur increased labour costs due to lack of prioritisation and automation. vRx prioritises vulns according to the unique context of each business, then automates their remediation with no human effort.
3. Other vulnerability management tools run daily scans (at most). vRx runs in real-time, which is particularly powerful for eliminating zero day threats.
4. Businesses are vulnerable in the time between when a vuln is discovered, and when the software vendor releases a patch. vRx’s “Patchless Protection” can secure a vulnerability even when there is no patch released from the software vendor. This is unqiue to vRx – there are no products we’re aware of that can do this.

Agility and speed at work
What do you like best about the product?
The process of updating hosts and running custom scripts, scheduling updates, the information they provide about each host helps to know what I should update first based on criticality,
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that you cannot reject a package to perform an update means that you have to do it manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of viewing and applying updates available on the platform, applying custom scripts, and vulnerability attention points

I highly recommend Vicarius to any company aiming to manage vulnerabilities effectively and enhance its cyber resilience.
What do you dislike about the product?
In our experience helping organizations enhance cyber resilience, if the focus is solely on identifying vulnerabilities without acting on remediations, there are other solutions in the market that offer better cost-effectiveness.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizations often struggle to establish a systematic approach to identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, frequently leaving environments exposed to critical risks. Vicarius provides the capability to support periodic management routines, keeping the environment up-to-date and addressing critical issues proactively.

What do you dislike about the product?
While vRx is incredibly powerful, I feel that some of the more advanced analytics could be simplified for users who may not have deep technical knowledge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use vRx to manage the vulnerabilities across all of my clients' assets.
It’s incredible how quickly I can handle hundreds of endpoints, ensuring they are secure and up-to-date.
The continuous vulnerability assessment is now essential for providing reliable support and maintenance, allowing me to proactively address potential threats.
The platform’s network scanning capabilities make it easy to detect vulnerabilities across the entire infrastructure. I also find the virtual patching feature invaluable, especially for custom-built software that cannot be updated through traditional methods. This allows me to secure legacy or homemade applications effectively, which otherwise would be difficult to manage.
Additionally, obtaining comprehensive documentation on vulnerabilities is straightforward with vRx, streamlining reporting and ensuring transparency with clients.

Before vRx, I had to use two separate tools for vulnerability assessment and patching.
Simplify managing your endpoint and server security
What do you like best about the product?
Best in vRx is that you may have all your risks in security in one console regarding the OS versions and third-party apps. With that, vRx will offer you the highest risk helping you prioritize what you should update first. Also the automation of tasks helps reducing the time of the security team members into those tasks. Customer Support helps you anytime, and the implementation is so easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with AD is difficult to cover by vRx, because an endpoint or server may be included in several groups, and that means that you can find that machine in a subgroup that you are not interested for this matter, for example, you can have two groups, Windows and Linux, but also you can have groups for geographical location, Office, DataCenter, Administration... with that picture, it is tricky to setup automation that covers every machine
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before vRx by Vicarius, we were not aware of many vulnerabilities that we had out of the Microsoft suite and some critical and exploited well-know vulnerabilities. Managing 0-days was very difficult and we spent a lot of time on those tasks. Now we have configured many automated tasks that saves us from a lot of threats.
