Empowered Marketing
What do you like best about the product?
Storyblok has given our marketing team powerful tools for managing content on our website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having just updated to Storyblok v2 there has been a big update to the UI which will always take time to get used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before our team relied heavily on outsourced developers to create web pages, now we can quickly create and launch pages internally.
CMS Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Fast and simple CMS. Good translation features with export/import as json. Fast live preview of all content changes. Good API documentation for custom integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
All Storybloks good features and performance comes with a cost! It can be expensive for a smaller company, but it's nothing compared to the time you would have spent on a worse and slower cms. Custom add-ons also cost development hours for a non-technical person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How many have spent too much time in a content management system? With this fast and simple CMS, there is nothing that can stop you. With 7 languages on a website, there is nothing other than field translation that facilitates my work. Combine field translation with import/export of the translations and you get more time for other important work stuff than spending time in the CMS. No third-party plugins makes bad security.
The ideal solution for our business case
What do you like best about the product?
Storyblok is the ideal solution for anyone searching for a headless CMS that can integrate various critical business elements on the site. We really enjoy the freedom of how we can design our website exactly how we vision.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little I dislike about storyblok. So far I haven't met anything that annoyed me. Although it is somewhat important that you have a great team of both developers and marketers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were searching for the ideal solution to create our new website. It should bridge the developers and the marketings vision for our website. Here, Storyblok solves all our challenges and we were very satisfied with the CMS in general.
Very useful for the clients
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is really crazy, i love the way we can cutomize the blocks to make it easily understanding. I also love the way we can change content from a language to another.
What do you dislike about the product?
I kinda dislike the difficulty of creating our own blocks. Maybe the doc could be more complete in some years so we can try to improve the way of creating content for us and for others
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the multiple aspect of editing content for clients. Some of our clients can now become better designers than us haha. The business increase because they can improve the storytelling
Great CMS enabling content teams to work autonomously and visually
What do you like best about the product?
The visual editor is a huge advantage in terms of usability. Especially for pure content creator teams who can directly see what their page will look like. This also enables fast review processes, as everything can be seen at first glance. Also, the onboarding of new users is super easy with the visual editor, because users can directly see how modules and components will look like, interact with each other or how they can be changed by simply trying them out. In general, I have also experienced great and very quick responding customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The permission management does not yet cover all our needs or is lacking some basic predefined roles such as translators that can only access and change the content within every block but can't change the structure. You can set up the roles yourself but it is not as intuitive to set up as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storyblok solves the usability problem that many CMS bring with them and at the same time does not limit the flexibility of the setup. It allows not only content teams to use it in a user-friendly way, but also developers to define the set of components and modules.
Best visual editor in a Headless CMS
What do you like best about the product?
I found the visual editor and the overall UI/UX super easy to navigate and work with to populate content into the CMS compared to a lot of other offerings on the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only dislike is, that some of the resources like the next.js starters or the video tutorials are out of date. All the resources need to be regularly updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I come from a WordPress background, where I have to worry about security updates, hosting etc. Storyblok takes care of all of that so I can just focus on developing a front-end.
Storyblok as Headless CMS on my shopify
What do you like best about the product?
The beautiful way to organize my content. Really simple for the team to contribuate
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficulties about the configuration of the multi-language
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The possibility to have content personalizable to my website.
A lovely community that helps and understand its customer
What do you like best about the product?
I just totally loved the community and the idea of storyblok. How supportive everyone is and they especially listen to their questions to give us a better quality version. One another thing I liked the most is that storyblok treats their customers like a king, they provide every possible support. There are not many things that I dislike and the one thing which is quite motivating is how storyblok is taking reviews from its customer and working along with the community to make it much better. and For me, it solves or makes it easy the task of content creation, for making an impact with your content it is your go-to tool, Apart from this it makes your life very easy so that you can make an impact on your content.

A good good middle ground on DX and UX
What do you like best about the product?
The whole flow for our users is great! Almost no need to have workshops explaining the CMS (unlike other CMSs we used in the past).
What do you dislike about the product?
From a developers perspective
* The routes on pages come without / and root pages get a / - can be troublesome when building statically.
* The image serive could be easier to use combining the different "filters" like focal point, crop and sizing.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When building sites for our clients that need to be fast, easy to use and frontend framework agnostic.
A great headless solution for both developers and clients
What do you like best about the product?
Perfect balance between flexibility for developers and ease-of-use for clients. The visual editor is amazing and gives clients a very easy-to-use visual editor to edit the contents of the website, while developers can still build whatever they want without taking away the editing capabilities of the client.
What do you dislike about the product?
It still contains some minor bugs, but considering V2 has just been released and they're not major / breaking bugs, it's a solid product. Also, the support is great and very helpful in trying to work around any issues you have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most other headless solutions often do not offer a visual/live editing environment, but Storyblok does. This makes it a much better fit when working with clients who edit the content.
