Expensive SEO tool not worth the hype

What do you like best about the product?
Botify is advanced log analysis, advanced segmentation, content analysis. It allowed for a very in-depth look at your site, with the ability to compare changes over time..
What do you dislike about the product?
Botify is very expensive. The monthly fee was too high, even with the lowerst plan The software offers many of features, but does not document how to use them. You must rely on Botify customer support team, however good support is hard to come by. My account was assigned a customer service rep, which sounds good in theory, but they did not prove to be very helpful. Customer Service Rep was not knowledgeable about product or the services it offered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Technical issues on the website.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look into other services there are many other out there with cheaper price points.

What do you like best about the product?
Botify provides tons of filters and segments to analyze log files and go really deep on the data. It also have integrations with web analytics and search console to map search engine crawls against traffic data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit bloated and overloaded with features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding bot/search engine behavior on your site and mapping that to changes in traffic and organic rankings.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Botify for a year and I immediately understood the tool potential . Now, after a year of use of the crawler module, I've decided to integrate also the data coming from the logs, and those coming from the Google Search Console in order to have a unique and complete picture of the sites that I manage, and to understand if and where there are critical issues to be addressed, and how. It is a tool that I recommend to all the people who want to understand how their site is seen and evaluated by bots.
What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect worth improving is the organization of the data in the interface: sometimes you are buried by a lot of information and it's not always easy identify the relevant one: on this point, Botify has room for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Botify has helped us in identifying non-compliant URLs that produce traffic (and on which we started to work to make them compliant), URLs that had technical problems that we haven't identifyied before, and URLs with content quality / quantity problems, mainly in those site sections less important but which, in aggregate, produce interesting volumes of traffic.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think that botify is very useful specially if you have to manage big websites and you want to monitor every single aspect of their online behaviour (technical, content quality, information structure, etc.). If your website is not too large, there are other tools out there that are more convenient.

What do you like best about the product?
Botify is very practical and ergonomic. It allows to make a site crawl in only a few minutes and to obtain very useful information about internal optimization.
What do you dislike about the product?
the loading times of the tool, useful tool but too long to use quickly

What do you like best about the product?
Once configured correctly, Botify does a lot of the hard work for you tying all threads together and living you an clear insight into the complexities of large websites. Botify has given us the confidence to make big decisions in the knowledge that we are looking at the full picture
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Need the ability to calculate more fields
2. Ability to save Regex formulas for future reference (sometimes it takes a while to get it right)
3. Increase the size of custom fields (above 255)
4. Ability to be able to match canonical URLs to other internal data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have
1. Resolved crawl budget issues - eliminating numerous repeated pages
2. Clear out canonical issues and hard to find page duplications.
3. Significantly improve our internal linking - balancing traffic to structure.

The power of the tool , and the customization on all the report.
Very helpfull to work on SEO on our country .
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit difficult to train on the tool , and to have all the knowledge to use it properly

Identify all the pages we have on our website, work on the insight , find the keyword which are the less efficient for the traffic.

Plan your SEO Project with botify

What do you like best about the product?
The custom reports and project planning aspects are a nice touch. They also have some nice mobile-focused functions too which as we know are the thing to have now.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was hoping for a better keyword research function but it's pretty much on par with everything else out there. This is probably the biggest disappointment considering everything else works so well. Maybe I should lower my expectations next time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to identify content strategy around our brand image that allows us to optimize search. We have insights into how these optimizations are performing and are able to find any redundancies in our strategy that may be removed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Botify is your one-stop shop for SEO. So if you like an all-in-one option for SEO this is the best one but there are other options if you are willing to deal with multiple software.

A good tool for analysing big web sites

What do you like best about the product?
Today Botify provides a really good crawler in terms of data reliability and crawl speed. The logs analyser is very complete too. And you can easily detect a problem in your crawl by bots and extract corresponding data.
The segmentation system is very sharp. Having several levels of segmentation in the same configuration is really important for analysing websites with a deep thematic tree.
I really like the keywords module too. There's relevant data aggregating. This module is very practical to analyse performance of pages types.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data model in the API. Today in Data Studio you can compare only the data of a crawl with a previous crawl. I know it will be different in the next API (still in testing) but I can't wait to test this new version!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly problems of structure between releases. And some problems of content quality link to content density and Marketplace content.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate all the dashboards that allow a quick visualization of the situation

I don't think there is something I really dislike but But the program can always be improved and offer more and more features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Botify allowed us to better understand how Google crawled our site, what it saw vs what we see. This has enabled us to work on areas for improvement . This allowed us to optimize our crawl budget.

The training courses are really very complete
