Very powerful yet often overwhelming
What do you like best about the product?
This is a great tool for monitoring your SEO performance and discovering new content opportunities. It really helps you stay on top of your website's progress and spot areas where you can improve or expand your content.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is so much you can accomplish with it that it can sometimes feel overwhelming. I frequently find myself unsure of where to begin.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool assists me in developing a solid keyword strategy and discovering new content ideas.

Flexibility, expertise, working with agency feels llike workign with colelagues in.house

turnover of people, as we had main contact replaced with almost no notice at all

creating content indipendently without having to utilise an agency and pay for each new content page or article
Solid SEO platform with powerful insights but room to improve UX
What do you like best about the product?
BrightEdge provides deep and actionable SEO insights that help us monitor keyword performance, identify content gaps, and stay ahead of competitors. The Data Cube and Recommendations engine are especially useful for aligning our content strategy with what users are searching for. The reporting features are comprehensive, and we’ve been able to show measurable gains in search rankings and organic traffic since using the platform. Integration with Google Analytics and Search Console is smooth and enhances overall visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the functionality is strong, the user interface feels outdated and can be overwhelming for new users. The learning curve is a bit steep, especially when navigating advanced features like page-level SEO recommendations. Additionally, the platform occasionally lags during data pulls, and some features like custom dashboards could be more intuitive. More frequent UI updates and onboarding resources would definitely help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrightEdge helps us track keyword rankings, optimize content strategy, and measure performance across different pages and campaigns. It has streamlined our SEO workflow and made it easier to prioritize content updates based on data. With the platform's insights, we’ve been able to improve our search visibility and stay competitive in fast-moving markets.

User interface, sometimes it gets difficult to use as it's not an intuitive tool.

What do you like best about the product?
BrightEdge has the most comprehensive keyword database matched with the best reporting out there to tell the story, something that others have historically struggled with, especially non-enterprise point solutions. With the huge push the company has towards adoption of AI, they understand the need to push R&D to give their customers answers to the questions that they are being asked by their management: How is AI Search/LLMs affecting our bottom line?
What do you dislike about the product?
With it being a large enterprise-ready platform, it take some time and understanding how the platform works, and because of all of the features the platform has, it can seem overwhelming without proper training. Though their support has been really good, it still is just a tool at the end of the day, and you need to commit to such a solution to truly leverage it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us get comprehensive data on our organization, which is a large enterprise in Fintech/software. We have a lot of competitors we care about and it gives us good visibility into the marketplace and find out where we can compete. Their dashboards are very sharp and look good, but at our size company we care more about the data to incorporate it into our business performance, which is something their APIs provides.

What I appreciate most about BrightEdge is its commitment to staying current with the latest SEO trends while consistently adhering to foundational best practices. BrightEdge is more than just an SEO tool, it's a powerful, feature-rich marketing platform. Every time I use it, I discover something new, thanks to its wide array of capabilities and flexible applications.
Some of my favorite features include the bulk keyword import, real-time ranking updates, and insightful search recommendations. Most recently, we’ve started leveraging the AI Catalyst feature, which provides valuable insights into citations, brand mentions, and much more. Overall, BrightEdge continues to impress me with its customer support, innovation, and ease of implementation.

I wish there were more training videos but we receive so many live trainings, it's really never an issue.

What I value most about BrightEdge is their ability to swiftly adapt to the ever-evolving SEO landscape, combined with a strategic team that seamlessly integrates into our business, not merely managing our account with customer support but actively contributing to our growth and success
What do you dislike about the product?
While BrightEdge offers a comprehensive suite of tools, the experience can be hindered by the separation of workflows across different modules at times. Nothing that would stop me from recommending the tool to a fellow SEO

Professional services wasn’t helpful when starting out due to team constantly changing and our site is unique so the changing team made it difficult as we had to onboard our business model with every new request.
