Organised and easy overview
What do you like best about the product?
It creates an easy expense overview which helps a lot in my everyday work
What do you dislike about the product?
The receipt fetching doesn't always work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's so much easier to delegate expenses to the different departments instead of there being one person in charge.

The Fetch feature. Very convenient that I do not have to upload receipts myself

When Fetch doesn't recognise some of the receipts I got in my mailbox and I have to upload them manually :(
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I get time to do stuff I enjoy instead of wasting time on boring bookkeeping stuff
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to think about the amount of time you're using each month gathering & uploading receipts from various subscriptions, licenses, etc. to the accountant. Now imagine you're cutting that time spend by a minimum of 80%. That's Pleo for me.

What do you like best about the product?
The app is so responsive. When i'm out about it hasn't failed to load once or slowed down.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could do with a larger view of the receipt once added. So I can see that I selected the right photo without clicking in it to open.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because it's so reliable and responsive I'm now in the habit of taking a picture of my receipt as soon as I've purchased. With other expense platforms the process was still too long so I ended up saving receipts for a bulk task.

I certainly haven't experienced them all but I think this is probably the best app for expense management

Pleo has made an incredible impact in our business
What do you like best about the product?
Pleo has made the whole process of reimbursement an incredible experience. The admin tasks associated with expenses are cut to the minimum, and in seconds (its true, IN SECONDS) we have new employees set up with their cards and limits for expenses. We can track all our teams and the accounting part is super smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing. Pleo has changed the way we treat employee expenses. Also, our employee are more than happy that they don't need to advance their money and wait for a reimbursement
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems we have solved are mainly the admin tasks required to reimburse employees for daily expenses. I have gained time, our employees have gained trust and our accounting process for this is now flawless!

If you have long reimbursement process and a lot of employee expenses, go for it!

i love that it's so clear and simple. it's exactly what we were looking for - organized spending that everyone can do themselves. it's much easier to manage the various expenses.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is nothing that i don't like about pleo. i also have no improvement requests and am extremely satisfied
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the problem is that i always have to save all receipts in the drive. in the long run this is just too exhausting and time-consuming. with pleo i just add the receipts to the output and it's done. the best thing i find is the email extension "fetch". this also works very well.
Great application and very easy to use, totally recommended.

It's a huge help for our company, no need to wait for the company debit card, now everyone can have one :)

Great and easy integration to Apple Pay. Easy app. Easy accounting. Great help when you are missing recipt.
What do you dislike about the product?
That the balance for our cards are no longer visable for free users, as before. Really a dick move to pull out a great and at first included feature, just to add it in a premium payplan. Premium plans should be building upon existing features, not taking exclusivity on first featured and free stuff.

Really great for managing accounting and expenses. It makes your life so much easier!
Taking managing employee business spending into the 21st century
What do you like best about the product?
Using Pleo as an employee is super intuitive and simple. You have a card (virtual or physical) to make expenses, a mobile app to snap a photo of the receipt and voula. You're done. Now the accounting is taken care off, your manager has overview of your transactions, as employee you are empowered with a spending limit that makes your life easier. Build by product people for people.

I dont have a lot to highlight here about their product. As mainly a user (not the financing department) the product works exactly as promised and expected.
It used to be that their pricing structure was per physical card per month, which wasn't entirely well throughout compared to how you want to empower most employees to do expenses. It could quickly become expensive in terms of pricing. I am unsure if this is still their pricing model.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have to do personal expenses and get a refund. I don't have to carry receipts with me and hand them or mail over to the financing department. Also in our early days of the company our CEO used to keep all receipts in a big plastic bag, and once a month do accounting, which was a horrible system that could result in missing receipts. Pleo takes care of all of this.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As a user it's a super easy tool to use. They seemed to be first mover in this space, and I still believe they are the best product-led company in the space, but it might be the competition has grown and there's viable alternatives. Anyways, I dont have anything bad to say about the product experience and the use of the tool.
