Good service for small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Pleo offers a simple solution for businesses that need payment cards for their employees. The controls and interface are simple for admins and the receipt upload process is good for employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
The monthly fee per user starts to add up a bit and can be a disincentive to issue cards to users who are only occasional users. I would rather pay on a different basis and feel able to hand out more cards (and probably drive more spend through Pleo). For example, in the US, Brex does not charge per user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to give out payment cards without having to go through tons of admin with our bank. Huge time and cost savings made.

That i do have to reinstall fortnox-account in Pleo

Couldn't be simpler.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease-of-use is the key feature for me. Physical cards and physical receipts are so easy to handle. Snap a picture of your receipt, match it to the expense and you're done. Having a virtual card for Apple Pay is not so bad either.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing big. Matching receipts in Gmail is a bit spotty, but not a dealbreaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a card that is directly tied to the company finances is great. I don't have to front expenses with my private economy which is great. Especially in my work as a film maker, having a company card to pay for unexpected expenses while on location is abolutely great.

Pleo makes it simpler than ever to submit expenses. The interface is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's hard to get through to an actual person at the help centre. They keep sending me through to automated FAQs which don't answer my questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speeding up the process of processing expenses and removing the need for unnecessary paperwork.

Its user friendly and makes taking care of expenses much easier than with physical receipts etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is if the wifi is not available, but otherwise, Pleo has it all.

Everything is gathered in one app. I love that I can just take a picture of the receipt and with a few clicks its sends to our finances.

I love the ease and speed of being able to upload expenses and file things away really quickly. Love it.

Nothing so far - it's just been so easy to use.

Just the ease of having a phone app and laptop option to load invoices and access has just been so useful. This is a game-changer!

Pleo has made it easier to submit expenses and has removed any lengthy or slow approval processes.
Pleo has made travel expenses so easy
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of getting my travel expenses logged and re-imbursed if paid cash. Easy to handle, very intuitive and Pleo is adding new functionality on a regular basis.

We are waiting for the extension of Pleo to do per diem travel rates.

Travel expense management, reimbursement of travel expenses. Integration with our accounting services.

The fact that you can snap a photo at the time of purchase and then toss the receipt makes our users very happy!
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had a couple of instances where the card wouldn't work on a website but Pleo's support have been very helpful in getting us a reason and/or solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Field staff and managers who travel a lot don't need to worry about expensing everything and our Finance Assistant can have their own card for smaller purchases for all departments rather than everyone having a debit card or credit card.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't want to use a conventional credit card or you have concerns about spending limits and budgets, Pleo is a great solution. I used it previously with a client as an external consultant and now I have got my team on board in my new role. It is very quick and easy to use and connects directly to our accounting software so reporting is easy too.
