Really useful and efficient service
What do you like best about the product?
Our accounting software started charging us to submit expenses and as a small charity this wasn't sustainable. We are also limited in who can have a bank card and with new staff joining, didn't want them to be racking up expenses on their personal cards. Being able to use Pleo for free has been massively helpful to us. The app makes things really simple, reminding people to upload receipts and making it so I can check the correct codes are used. The virtual cards are also a great addition as they mean people don't always have to remember to carry their physical cards around
What do you dislike about the product?
The only improvement I would like would be to be able to set up the auto top-up to a smaller amount.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it possible for more of the team to make purchases without having to be on the bank account or use their own money. It also makes it easier for people to upload receipts and correctly code items.
Easy Expense
What do you like best about the product?
Easy way to expense, tag and evidence expenditures in one place without asking staff to fill in complex spreadsheets and the need to re-enter into and ERP. Seem less linking through the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pocket - tried to implement and facilitate direct payment but just doesn't seem to work. Tried to remove it and also found this a bind.
Somehow expected a tick button to be available directly reimbursing out of pocket from PLEO master user account. Maybe I missed it??

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Already said - departure from excel spreadsheet expense claims. The saving in admin costs of staff and finance is definitely worth having. Our business performance has not increased- we are always on PLEO.
Streamlined company expenses
What do you like best about the product?
It really helps us streamline expenses for the company and keeps all the receipts in the same place. Before this it was messy and there were a lot of discrepancies due to human error or miscalculation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the different interface on IOS verses the browser can be frustrating when you're on the go. For example if you want to see more information on the account you have to use a browser and you cant see this information on app. Like topping up the account balance or seeing people or settings like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So it consolidates all our receips and expenses and makes it easy to then reconsile these on our regular accounting. Also the auto top up means we don't have to constantly manage the balance and we always have a track of one off spending.

Xero intergration is great, works really well.

Not clear when tasks are completed for users.

A game changer,
What do you like best about the product?
The app has really revolutionised our expense, catcher and processing activity as an entire organisation. We are better Stuart other funds as a result, and all throughout the company had better clarity on the expense policy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to find something, but it I had to .. I would love to see the app developed to better review expenses of colleagues within the settingings fuction - a greater variety of setting options!

Prior to using pleo each employee was paying for business expenses with their own personal funds, and then later, claiming back, which was a clunky process and lead to mismanagement of funds.

What do you like best about the product?
Has made running our expenses policy much easier - less senior time processing claims, and it allows team members to get on with things rather than waiting for authorisations.
Also saves the team from having to spend their own money, whilst limiting the exposure of the company as we only ever have a certain amount of money in our Pleo wallet at any one time.

What do you dislike about the product?
Charging for a user licence for the administrator seems unnecessary
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before our team were having to spend their own money and submit expense claims or wait for a director with a company card to be around
Super easy spend management
What do you like best about the product?
That multiple team members can get a payment card and be responsible for uploading receipts.
What do you dislike about the product?
That they still haven't launched the "Pleo Bills" in Denmark as they announced long time ago.

Very simple to use and quick to submit expenses

I am really impressed with the ease of using this app and the speed to get any purchase or receipt put through the system.

The time taken to submit an expense is tiny and the one-click bookkeeping is very impressive.
It does what it needs to do, but there's a lot of UI improvents to be made

Lot of manual work is being solved, so we save a lot of time
