Easy Expense Tracking, But Beware of Scam Emails

Keeping track of purchases is straightforward, and uploading invoices is simple as well.

Lately, we've been getting a significant number of scam emails that are pretending to be from Pleo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anyone can make minor purchases quickly, without needing approval or waiting for someone else to handle the transaction. This is particularly helpful when the item is inexpensive but still essential.
User-Friendly but Not Intuitive for Tax Management
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use that Pleo offers. It makes managing business expenses straightforward and efficient, which is crucial for my everyday operations. The user-friendliness of Pleo streamlines controlling the flow of payments, allowing me to handle transactions smoothly and effectively. I also appreciate the ease of accessing receipts, which eliminates delays and improves overall financial management. Pleo's focus on simplicity is something I find particularly appealing as it reduces the time and effort needed for expense management tasks. This simplicity, combined with its effective control features, makes Pleo a tool worth using over and over.

I use Pleo for controlling the flow of payments and find it easy to access receipts, benefitting my business with control and simplicity.
User-Friendly Interface, But Occasional Crashes and Weak Mobile Site

The interface is really easy to use and understand

Sometimes the interface/website crashes and the mobile website isnt very helpful

Ease of use, simple and intuitive interface, good understanding of platform.

I had some issues utilising the desktop app, it's not as easy as the mobile app.

It's solving the end old problem of managing expenses, receipts and all the admin relating to monitoring business expenses.

Easy to use, installation was smooth and didn't have issues

Limited Integration and VAT Reporting Challenges with Pleo
What do you like best about the product?
I was particularly attracted to Pleo because of the cashback features and the favorable foreign exchange (FX) fees it offers. The user cards and expense management capabilities are standout features for me. Additionally, I find the ease of use for both cardholders and when submitting expenses to be highly beneficial. The Pleo app and online portal are both excellent tools that contribute to smooth operations. One feature I frequently rely on is the instant card management, which allows for swift changes and control over card settings. Furthermore, the reporting functionality is very useful and aids in maintaining oversight over financial transactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the absence of an API connector which forces us to manually upload data, affecting efficiency. Additionally, the initial promise of an API connector has not been fulfilled, which is quite disappointing. The lack of a VAT feature is another drawback, making tax management more cumbersome. Moreover, it lacks OCR and better VAT reporting capabilities, which are essential features for streamlined operations.

I find Pleo facilitates ease of use for cardholders and expense submission with its instant card management and effective online portal, enhancing workflow efficiency.
Real-Time Receipt Tracking Shines, But App Stability Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like Pleo a lot, I think it is good that you can upload receipts in real time as well as tracking all of the spending that you do across the board. The way you can allocate it to specific projects and split them across multiple is also really clever.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the app crashed when you are trying to upload receipts which is a bit annoying, specifically when doing it on my Iphone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It enbales us to make sure people submit receipts for everything that they purchase and gives them the option to select multiple features to do so. This stops 1000s of receipts from going missing every year, the notifications prompt people a lot more to get their receipts done in comparison to having a credit card and just handing them to finance.
Really easy to integrate with Xero
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy the onboarding is and how the app works. Easy to submit a receipt to Pleo too by email.

It would be good if it remembered some vendors to avoid having to approve with the app every time. Maybe I just did not find that feature?
