Compact Expense App with Best Customer Service

What do you like best about the product?
Since our company is based in Europe, Pleo truly understands and provides services that align with European regulations. It integrates seamlessly with our accounting system, making our work much easier.
Pleo also offers all the features we need to manage our company expenses efficiently. We used to rely on multiple expense apps, but now we’ve replaced them all with Pleo — it’s compact, convenient, and powerful.

What I appreciate most is the support team. Whenever I encounter an issue, I receive quick and effective help, and our account manager is always highly responsive.

I would definitely recommend Pleo to colleagues and friends — and I already have!
What do you dislike about the product?
Like many other tech solutions, Pleo occasionally experiences technical issues. However, these are within a reasonable tolerance, and thanks to their excellent support team, we’re always reassured that problems will be resolved quickly. I also see plenty of potential for further improvements, and I look forward to seeing Pleo continue to grow — and growing together with them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pleo is truly a one-stop solution for managing company expenses. It saves us time, money, and a lot of headaches by reducing the need for multiple separate apps. With Pleo, all our expense tracking and spending are well-organized in one place. Employees are happier too, as they face fewer obstacles when managing their expenses — from submitting receipts to getting approvals, everything is smoother and faster. Overall, it streamlines our processes, improves accuracy, and keeps both the finance team and employees satisfied.

What do you like best about the product?
Pleo is very user-friendly and requires very little from employees managing expenses. The interface is minimalistic and still gives all the information you need as a user. Implementation is also very easy, and support is easy to reach if ever needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes wonder about platform security, as you log in with just a password.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pleo automatically log all purchases, and often fetches the receipt in the email inbox. The process for booking costs to various accounts is super simple, as is the approvals process.

What do you like best about the product?
From a user side is very Easy to use, much more convenient than keeping expenses manually and then doing a expense report

As CFO the tool is extremely useful as it's integrated with the bookkeeping team. We have all the invoices in only one place, and reconciled
What do you dislike about the product?
For the team that's traveling a lot it's worth the price, but for the team that travels only 1-4 per year it's too expensive. So they don't have a pleo account. Paying per use can be very expensive.

What do you like best about the product?
Great UX and fast product improvements, solving real Finance problems
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the team is prioritizing new features over building existing features e2e.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have automated our entire accounts payable side with Pleo; from reimbursing employees, managing expenses via vendor cards to paying incoming invoices. Additionally, the regular vendors tab is great for monitoring and managing existing subscriptions.

An easy-to-use payment processing tool

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and very intuitive. Especially it's automated function regarding invoice processing is useful for everyday use, shortening the amount of time spent on invoice processing and thus freeing up time for other obligations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, Pleo only exports invoices to DATEV or as an excel sheet after they've been paid. That makes sense from the perspective of Pleo as a payment tool, but as a finance manager in communication with, for example, an external accountant or tax advisor, it means added communicative workload to make sure that the invoices are connected with the correct time frames.

The ordering of new cards is a little complicated.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is to be able to reconcile your expenses in real time as soon as you have made your purchase.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it frustrating that I could not speak to a real person on the telephone when I had an issue recently. I did manage to resolve the issue on my own, but it took a lot longer than if I had spoken to a customer support agent at the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can now submit my company experiences in real time and make sure receipts are not misplaced causing problems to reconcile my expecnces

What do you like best about the product?
The real-time tracking and receipt upload feature save us so much time, and the automatic categorization helps us stay on top of budgets without the usual paperwork hassle. Our employees appreciate the autonomy, and our finance team loves the streamlined process.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there’s one small downside, it’s that the mobile app could be a bit faster when syncing transactions — but this is a minor inconvenience compared to the overall benefits.

A key problem Pleo solves is the time-consuming and chaotic management of employee expenses.

Before, expenses often had to be recorded through complicated reimbursement processes, paper receipts, or manual spreadsheets. This led to missing receipts, unclear budgets, and a high administrative workload for our finance team.

What do you like best about the product?
Pleo has completely transformed the way our team manages expenses gone are the days of chasing paper receipts and wrestling with spreadsheets. From the moment we issued Pleo cards to our employees, we saw an immediate boost in transparency and control: every purchase shows up in real time, categorised and photographed, so our finance team can reconcile transactions in minutes rather than days.

The mobile app is intuitive and lightning fast for capturing receipts on the go, and bank grade security gives us confidence that our corporate spending is always safe. Pleo’s integration with our accounting software means expense data flows seamlessly into our ledgers without manual entry, saving hours of tedious work each month.

Our employees love having their own prepaid Pleo cards, no more waiting for reimbursements or using personal credit cards and managers appreciate the ability to set custom spending limits by department or project. Overall, Pleo delivers exceptional value through time savings, improved compliance, and happier teams. We couldn’t imagine going back to our old expense process.
What do you dislike about the product?
While we’re big fans of Pleo, there are a few areas where it could improve automated spend categorisation is usually spot on, but every so often a transaction lands in the wrong category and needs manual correction; for very small teams or start-ups on tight budgets, the per user monthly fee can feel steep if advanced features go unused; during peak periods, customer-support response times can be longer than expected despite the team’s expertise and friendliness; physical card design options are limited, and some teams would appreciate more branding or colour choices; and while Pleo’s basic analytics are excellent, power users may find the out of the box reporting capabilities a little thin, often exporting data for deeper analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pleo addresses many of the common headaches in corporate spending namely, the endless chase for paper receipts, manual data entry, opaque approval processes and slow reimbursement cycles. By issuing prepaid cards to employees and capturing every transaction in real time (complete with receipt images and automated categorisation), it eliminates time consuming admin, reduces errors and gives finance teams instant visibility and control over budgets
