Excellent expense management
What do you like best about the product?
I get a budget so I know exactly what I can spend.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to enter my receipts into another system as well (why?!), but that's not Pleo's fault.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing allocated budget for expenses.
Great functionality and easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
Pleo is set up to use on the go on your mobile or on your desktop. It is extremely easy to upload receipts and track expenses, and organise them based on different categories or tags. I particularly like that the app updates you immediately after a purchase, and keeps track of missing receipts for your expenses.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to have a function that suggests creating a new tag? Instead of needing to email your admin, to create this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has definitely made it easier to communicate with and within our Finance Department, and help categorize expenses based on projects, internal expenses, team socials etc. A very handy piece of software that everyone can use.
Efficient & easy solution
What do you like best about the product?
Removes the lengthy manual process we were currently using and also removes all the paperwork and filing for all the receipts we were having to keep.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like it to be more customisable - E.g. making particular N/C codes available to certain users instead of all codes available to all users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pleo is removing the lengthy and manual task of collecting receipts and manually entering transactions onto our accounting software. It places more accountability on the user to upload receipts when a transaction is made instead of having the opportunity of receipts getting lost and not submitted for weeks/months.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at how manual your current expensing & purchasing processes are and see if Pleo would make these more efficient.
Plain sailing expenses
What do you like best about the product?
No paper receipts and easy reports. The users don't need to keep paper copies of receipts or fill out expense reports. No excuse for receipts getting lost.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much! It all working swimmingly well for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The lack of small bits of paper is fantastic. Our engineers are out on the road all the time so waiting for them to come to the office with bits of tatty paper was awful. And they'd lose some of them. Pleo has taken all that pain away.

An easy way for company expenses
What do you like best about the product?
The fact it allows me to upload receipts instantly and tag for certain expenses is really helpful. Also the app is really easy to use and help to remind you of pin and freeze card or request a new one.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is that I cannot see a breakdown of my spending whilst away. If there were some analysis that would be really useful or perhaps a portal for me to look at.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not have to use my own card to expense items and instead can use the pleo card.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use this if you have employees going abroad that will be using expenses daily. It is a great way to track receipts rather than keeping them.
The most time-saving service
What do you like best about the product?
Pleo is really saving a lot of time for both the employees registrations of travel costs as for me when I have to appoint the costs to projects and invoice the customers.
Receipts are now always present, the employees delivers it on time and with the interface to e-conomic, it is easy for me to invoice the customers for the expenses.
Furthermore we now get the VAT on foreign travel costs refunded due Pleo's service. This more than covers the cost of Pleo.

What do you dislike about the product?
The interface to e-conomic miss integration to the project module, so despite that Pleo can assign expenses to Project, it is not directly assigned to the projects in E-conomic. I still have to do that manually when the expenses have been transferred.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving a lot of time for my employees and myself. Furthermore I got the foreign VAT refunded. The service is much better than what my bank can offer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't wait - just do it small scale and you will quickly realise that it is the easiest change you have ever made.
Everything that I always wanted
What do you like best about the product?
I like how expenses just pop up on my screen after I make a contacless payment. It makes life so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. I thought it was annoying that I had to change my pin at an ATM, but hey - that took 3 minutes in total!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whenever I had an issue (like forgetting my pin for the app), the team got back to me within minutes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just go with it! It's really easy to use and it will make your life easier. Goodbye expenses! The app also has a nice feature which allows our accountant to ask questions about our purchases.

What do you like best about the product?
It reminds you to upload your receipts and can be easily topped up if you run out whilst travelling away.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can sometimes take a while to recognise a payment has gone through so have to keep hol dof the receipt for 24 hours till you can upload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Don't have to use own money, if have some left over can just be taken back off by company.
Simple, Quick and efficient
What do you like best about the product?
the customer service. Extremely helpful and always quick to answer any queries you may have. Cannot fault Pleo at all
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, its so simple to use. The customer service team are extremely helpful and it allows you to keep an eye on your monthly spend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instant photo uploads means i don't have to worry about holding onto receipts and loosing them!

If you want a cost effective, efficient and user friendly way of keeping track of receipts and spending then Pleo is the one for you!
Keep it simple, stupid
What do you like best about the product?
Pleo gets all your travel expenses in order in real time! I can at all times follow expenses filtered by category, people etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exports to our accounting system does not exclude already imported elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly I save time in accounting.
