What do you like best about the product?
Cloud based Simulation, multiple runs at a time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Geometry based simulation. No manual changes happens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CFD, Thermal and structural analysis. RFQ analysis happens quickly.
Amazing experience! I have never used such wonderful and powerful tool for conducting simulations
What do you like best about the product?
It is simple and very intuitive to use. There is plenty study material you can use to learn, and chat assistant is wonderful (I got to speak with an actual person in a matter of minutes). The way everything is layout is perfect.
What do you dislike about the product?
The CAD features are bit limited. If you are needing to any conplex regions to test non-uniform geometries it is easier to simplify important them along with your model.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Other CFD softwares require months of training to properly use and understand. With SimScale I was able to do the same in a matter of hours.
SimScale is really great due to its accessibility as a cloud based software.

Intuitive interface and online accessibility

The free version has limited number of simulations

Aerodynamic simulations of different airfoil designs

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about it is how easy and interactive it is, very user friendly especially for beginners its much better than other softwares that requires extensive courses. Also, being cloud based is a plus so you don't have to buy expensive softawers and computers.

The pathlines in result control are somehow complicated to simulate compared to others

Helped me create CFD simulation without worying about max cell size allowed for free licnses on pro softwares like ansys.

Simulation setup for incompressible fluid flow is faulty
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use simscale for cfd simulations specifically incompressible fluid flow. The setup for this is a bit tricky anf frankly not helpful.

Easy to get started, requires only a little curiousity. Web based so no Hardware preconditions. Tutorials on many examples and many help-ready Users to troubleshoot the details + easy interface and accessibility

Maybe the speed of the CAD Editing, but you can also do that in other CAD Software and import

Very engaging and has alot of enhanced features to share with the user.
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that this platform supports a wide variety of simulation types! including structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics this was used in my projects which was great, which makes it a versatile tool for different engineering disciplines like chemical and mechanical.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to its performative limits, this cloud infrastructure can handle large simulations, there may still be performance limits compared to high-end local workstations, especially for extremely complex or large-scale simulations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SimScale’s platform enables the easy sharing of projects. It is able to show the results among team members and stakeholders. This enhances collaboration between complex saved projects and it, speeds up the design process, and ensures everyone is on the same page, regardless of their location, time zone or date.
Great for large-scale simulations
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing is its capability to run cloud-based simulation. In my experience, as a member of a fairly newborn formula student team, it was the beat option to run accurate CFD analyses.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could have more tutorials and personalized help center.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For now, almost the entirety of the core hours went into CFD simulations of our formula student car.
