Qu'aimez-vous le plus à propos de the product?
Nous voulions changer l'expérience de recherche de nos utilisateurs, ce qui a été un succès grâce à l'API d'Algolia, très facile à intégrer. Contrairement aux approches traditionnelles de réponse aux questions, nous avons opté pour Algolia qui rend la recherche interactive et intuitive en proposant des résultats pertinents au cours de la saisie. Les bons points également notables sont le support de plusieurs langues, la capacité d'établir des recherches par géolocalisation, la tolérance aux fautes de frappe, le support des synonymes... Le tableau de bord est très moderne, comme la marque, et offre une analyse assez approfondie.
Que n’aimez-vous pas à propos de the product?
L'indexation peut être compliquée à configurer sans l'aide du support. Le prix peut très rapidement augmenter si l'on dépasse l'abonnement de départ. Le principal problème que nous rencontrons est la documentation, elle est incomplète, il vaudrait mieux se concentrer sur la documentation plutôt que sur l'adaptation en termes de langue.

Algolia nous a permis d'indexer pour chaque utilisateur leurs données respectives afin qu'ils puissent obtenir rapidement les résultats de ce qu'ils recherchent. L'ajout de filtres a également permis la personnalisation des pages de notre site web, renforçant ainsi la recherche rapide.

Si vous n'êtes toujours pas sûr de savoir comment implémenter Algolia dans votre site web ou application, une version d'essai de 14 jours est disponible sur leur site pour tester pleinement Algolia et en prendre bien soin. indexation et configuration de la recherche pertinente. De plus, Algolia a pensé à tout en instillant un tutoriel permettant l'implémentation de celui-ci dans votre site web.

C'est très rapide et fiable. J'adore que leur produit soit très simple avec une structure tarifaire très transparente. Il est facile à ajuster et dispose d'API et de SDK conviviaux. Fonctionne également très bien sur différentes plateformes.

Bien qu'il s'agisse d'une structure tarifaire transparente, cela peut être assez coûteux. Il ne prend pas non plus en charge de nombreuses capacités avancées. Cependant, j'adore l'utiliser absolument !

Nous avons trouvé ses outils de création de plateforme très faciles à utiliser, surtout pour les développeurs. Il possède d'excellentes fonctionnalités de personnalisation, ce qui aide grandement les conseillers du conseil à pouvoir gérer les comptes et à rendre la plateforme d'inscription aux cours plus facile.

Je recommande vivement les domaines de la gestion éducative ainsi que les domaines d'entreprise d'avoir cela dans leurs environnements de travail pour le développement et la gestion de plateformes.
Amazing API software
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, I really like this software because it is fast and has many features that are easy to use. It is user-friendly, which is good because that way I can make the work faster. It is easy to use and understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I really don't like is the price, it is really high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Algolia allows organizing everything and performing searches on a nice journey. I like it, since we started using the software, our clients have been amazed by the ease of searching.

The price is slightly high, however for the service it provides, it isnt a bad option!

Its customization search functionality integrates well with WordPress, and it’s capable of returning results of searches over thousands of articles in fractions of a second, surfacing relevant content that can be ranked according to the specific requirements of a site.

L'outil d'administration est bien équipé et très fonctionnel. Il est assez facile à utiliser et à comprendre rapidement. Il est facile de déboguer à l'intérieur de l'outil d'administration.

Une partie de la documentation de l'API et de la documentation de recherche instantanée de React est un peu insuffisante. En particulier avec les connecteurs pour la recherche instantanée de React, il faut lire le code du dépôt GitHub pour comprendre comment l'implémenter réellement. Les prix ont beaucoup augmenté depuis que nous l'avons utilisé pour la première fois. Nous avons la chance d'être sur un plan hérité, mais si nous devons un jour le mettre à jour, en tant que startup, il est peu probable que nous puissions nous permettre le même niveau de fonctionnalités.

C'est un outil de recherche rapide pour le catalogue de produits. Idéal pour personnaliser votre propre page de catalogue tout en utilisant leurs capacités de recherche avec des filtres.
Good Search tool for the price, but poor service

The search function is quick, not the fastest, but quick enough.
The reporting is ok, but tough to drill down to specifics like other search vendors.

The reporting needs help. Requires support to dig in deeper.
Support is difficult and slow to make contact. Submitted support ticket and didn't receive response for 3 business days.
Company started double billing us for 5 months and when asked to stop double billing and credit our account, they did not respond after several attempts. Had to get credit card company involved.

What do you like best about the product?
The free version is up to thousand of entries and it make it possible to validate your business model while launching a new collaborative website using a browser without having to invest a lot of money.

Not in french yet so some features are not easy to understand and implement

Implementation is super easy. Search engine is best in class. After using it, you will be annoyed with the sub-par search of mainstream apps like linkedin, Facebook, etc ...

Stable, Predictable and easy to use Search service.

Algolia is very stable with rich APIs and fast response times. It supports many programming languages and provide well designed libraries with great documentation. Algolia solves many problems for services in which fast searching in large data sets are required. The platform is incredibly reliable, easy to use and prices are affordable for most companies, regardless of scale . It takes no time to integrate it into a project. Thanks to their backend architecture, availability is guaranteed and lookups are predictable.

- Improved indexing. Although not a big problem, but it can definitely cut a set of manual processing stages.

Syncing data in a distributed service. Algolia help us to skip hassle of maintenance and focus on the service itself.

When developing a project in which a search engine is required , maintenance and development costs for search engine part can dramatically influence project success. Algolia is a great, reliable choice for this situation.

- Index settings can be tricky to customize without the help of the support
- Not enough tools to explore indexes and manipulate them through the interface
- No quick search tool in the dashboard (oh, ironic!)
- Step in the pricing is too steep: no 49 to 249$ is a huge step if you overflow your quota of the initial plan...

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't want to maintain the infrastructure needed to allow our customers to search through their data in our app. Algolia allows us to push data of our users in indexes so they can query Algolia after to get results from anything (entities, invoices, documents...)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Plan your index structure in advance: it can be a pain, especilly in term of credit, to re-index everything in case of change in your document structure. Otherwise, try the Algolia power on some public sites using it to see how fast and powerful it is.
However, if you need to index a lot of documents and you have enough engineers to handle infrastructure, consider free option like ElasticSearch, which can be cheaper even counting the maintenance time.
