Grea tsolution for faceted search
What do you like best about the product?
Granular search results and filtering and the ability to search within a polygon is great for real estate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most difficult part of getting my algolia workflow setup was creating batch writes for daily updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for real estate searches, where there are many data points to filter. I can take user input and get fast results/

What do you like best about the product?
The major advantage is that the way the services are organised. It lets anyone without a dab hand coding skills to start working with Algolia. Also the support services are quite awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess if you start to engage people on a much efficient manner, customer satisfaction will be quite huge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Algolia has helped me a lot in terms of Indexing data as well as I love the NLP tools quite a lot. Huge fan always !

What do you like best about the product?
The variety of details that allow me to configure the search filter amazes me. The documentation is extensive and precise at the same time, it has very relevant details such as those of the configuration that help me to have a better search system. Algolia is what I was looking for, I can reach my goals in just a few months after implementing it, we are in constant communication with the technical service and I can say that they respond in a short time and with solutions, this is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
My doubts with Algolia were due to the price, I had a negative opinion regarding the price and with the short free trial of only 14 days. The 14-day test is too short to determine the most relevant functions with a lot of criteria, we take many risks and this is a disadvantage. Although I think we made a good decision, it is necessary that the free trial be much longer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved the lack of interest of users in our company by implementing this advanced search system, they are much more involved with the company and this increases revenue, it is the main thing. Algolia adds faster and faster functions, this is fantastic for companies that wish to continue updating their platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will have many doubts with the 14-day test, of course it is very short, for this reason you should read the documentation and be always constant communication with the support so that they solve all the difficulties that are within your reach, it will not to be an easy path, but in the same way you have to travel to be able to implement this innovative solution to advanced search problems.

Up and running with advanced search capabilities in minutes. Hook up your data model, plug in the JavaScript widget and your users get a great search experience. It is very fast from anywhere in the world and the flexible customisation features allow for advanced and nearly bespoke search solutions. You should try Algolia before you try to build your own search.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Some of the terminology used when you get into customising the experience can take awhile to make sense.

What do you like best about the product?
We love that it's crazy fast- it's a party trick when we show folks. The results are instantaneous and make our entire site feel faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is hard to measure as we grow. While I get sent a lot of information weekly, I can't make sense of how that relates to our traffic. I also find it hard to understand how it works with our caching on our managed hosting. When we have an issue on the site, it's hard to understand where the issue is.

We have a complex site with many different lines of business. We're able to go across all of the lines as well as specific offerings. We've been able to make some sense of our specific lines of business, but we still have not had any success with folks typing in natural language queries into the system.

Far easier than trying to roll your own search offering, pricing is tough to understand and plan against (for me, as an executive not a dev)..

What do you like best about the product?
When trying to learn about Algolia as a new customer, it is very easy to navigate their website and see clearly what their pricing and structure plans are. The implementation of it on my company website, DollarProbs.com was easy and we did not experience any major issues or bugs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be better to see how Algolia can expand on its current sets of search API data, and be able to give more in-depth reports in its weekly usage report emails it sends out. Making it a bit easier to switch plans would be more helpful, but overall it is quite simple to find needed information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Algolia search API to help determine what users on my website are searching for, and to see what the trending words are that they are searching for so we can make them stronger keywords in our site. The Algolia features and services are plenty for my small business to handle for now.

If you need a detailed and precise search API, Algolia is a great tool that can help improve the search abilities of your website. Algolia was recommended to me first by a friend, and then after hearing it recommended again by my web team, I knew it was a worthwhile product, and has lived up to my current small business needs. It is easy to find research needed to learn more about what the product is and its potential helpful features to improve your own business needs.

If you work with elasticsearch, the migration is very fast. The configuration of the tool is very simple.

At first there is uncertainty with the price, but with few calculations you can know what the tool will cost....

What do you like best about the product?
Algolia is very well thought out product and it's staggering how many options they provide to customise and filter search results. Developer documentation is clear and concise and it only takes a few minutes to get up and running. Additionally tooltips are depicted next to almost all configurable options making it even easier to find the relevant documentation. Indexed results are returned almost instantly. I'm also a big fan of the browse feature, which allows you to test any configuration changes to an index without having to setup an environment.
The Algolia team are also friendly and genuinely want to help you make the most of your experience and achieve your goals.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of features we required were aimed at more of an enterprise level business, which was beyond the scope our implementation. However after chatting with their Team we were able to find a suitable workaround and achieve our goals.

With Algolia we are using search as the primary navigation on our agency's landing page replacing the existing navigation with the aim to get users to engage more with the company and quickly find what they are looking for.

Algolia can be used by employees or administrators of any skill level through its "beneath-the-surface" action as an effective means of web searching and connecting with those on the Internet. Implementation onto both computers and mobile phones is easy and relatively unnoticeable/not bothersome. An easy recommendation to any other potential users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some dislikes shown by both myself and employees is the impact of Algolia on search speeds and overall RAM usage, which sometimes may impact users from full optimization of their device. Some prefer to use other outlets that do not have this issue, though, minor, and consider it a definite negative about the product.

I would recommend Algolia fix their current issue with decreased performance due to usage of Algolia in tandem with other programs on a single device. Offer means for users to still make use of external applications while using Algolia.
