Remarkable experience with some issues in the learning process
What do you like best about the product?
The software fulfill all the requirements for web searching purposes, has an optimal use of digital resources who helps a lot in the performance during the use of the software in the computer. The results for the searching process were outstanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'll prefer a cleaner user interface, the current one is useful but it can be more friendly with the end-user. Also the learning curve for the software it's quite rude, it can be easier to use with a friendly interface and tutorials or hints. Also the cost/benefit it's quite low due the prices for the service
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Algolia search engine app to provide search solutions to our clients in real estate market, increase the amount of properties in our clients radar range

Highly recommended. If you are looking for an advance web search tool, this product can ease your efforts and will fulfill your requirements.
Taking into account the cost/benefit related with this product, we think this is a good investment for any research project (which is the one we did) but also requires a high budget for implementation.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like this tool, it has a speed of response in the search of products, in a single site, easy to use, more precision in the search, recognizes spelling errors and has a great technical support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I already have time using Algolia I do not see any problem, only that the price is a bit high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to search for products and users, with an incredible response, thanks to this tool, revenues increased due to its high capacity for rapid response.

I recommend it if you have a large volume of products on your platform and need to improve search speed.

It has been great until we needed more cutomization

The speed of the results and the UI of the dashboard, makes everything easier

That in order to configure a new sorting, I have to create a new index and that fills the quota pretty fast.

We're solving our search engine problem, for the speed of response and the lack of indexation on our side.

Use it for simple purposes with little complexity in terms of sorting. For typing or exact querying.

the search and the speed access to the data, also the easy setup to linked to the firebase.

The harder part of the process is the move in my case cause I come from a different country, but Algolia has made this so easy and smooth for me that it’s really not a problem, plus I get to start a new life which is always an exciting adventure.

the load of the data is much faster than loading the data from the firebase

I like the shed at which attributes are retrieved. The integration was easy and fast as well

What do you like best about the product?
Algolia represents a huge advance compared to our Ecommerce site's original search tool. It delivers much more refined and relevant search results nearly instantaneously, making the shopper's experience much more productive and enjoyable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's so highly technical that I must involve our web developer to implement almost any tweak to search logic, other than some basic stuff I can accomplish on my own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our original site search tool was based on simple word-search, so it would display any product whose description contained the searched word, rendering search results almost useless. In contrast, Algolia returns search results that are way more useful. Our next step will be to index our blog and FAQ pages, in addition to our products, since oftentimes our visitors are searching for help on a topic, not just for a product.

Open source prject using Algolia, its decent but limited
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you guys support open source projects for free, very cool. was extrememly easy to integrate to docusaurus build, hence why we started using it. it works pretty good
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that i can only see the top couple of results. We have hundreds of documents and references. Users sometimes need to search google to get what they need out of our website.
